I Lost All My iLife Apps.
Hi,
Recently i had problems with my hard drive (On My Macbook Pro) and i got it replaced at a Apple Store. I took the machine back home and realised i had OS X Yosemite Installed with the new hard drive. For a bit i played my favourite games (Minecraft & all that) until i realised i had NO ILIFE APPS (Garage Band, iMovie, etc). Please Help Me.
How did your games get loaded onto your new hard drive? From your old drive's backup, I assume. Have you loaded your iLife apps the same way? Have you then used the App Store to do product updates?

I lost almost all my iLife apps when someone from family accidently deleted them. I have lost the CD you got with the mac a long time ago.
Is there a way i can recover all those apps? I need iPhoto, iWeb, Garageband, iMovie.Either call Apple customer services and see if they can replace your original discs,
or buy a copy of iLife '09 or '11 {'11 doesn't include iWeb, I understand} from Amazon MP (etc),
or buy them individually from the App Store {iWeb will not be available on the App Store and nor will iDVD}
If you want the retail disc I'd hurry - Apple no longer sell iLife on disc, and prices are starting to rise on Amazon already. -
Has anyone else had trouble with update 6.1.2 for I phone? After the update, I can't get back on my network (password is correct), ICLOUD doesn't transfer my downloads, nothing seems to work. It saved my calandar and address book, but lost all of my apps and music (except for a few songs, figure that out) and I can't get them back. Any suggestions?
I had this problem post 6.1. Not sure if it was a coincidence, but I'd just recently changed my password after being convinced I'd been hacked, due to being told I was entering my password wrongly, repeatedly by iCloud / iTunes. It turns out my iCloud account on my Settings -> Mail, Contacts and Calendars was listed as Inactive. Putting in my details, turning off Contacts over iCloud (thus deleting them) and turning them back on again, repopulated my contacts from iCloud with numbers attached to them.

My husband bought an iPad 2. I have a Mac. ITunes is in my name but I have turned sharing on. When we updated to OS5 we lost all the free apps that he downloaded in his user name. Is there no way to update using my iTunes without losing his software. He is frustrated using the iPad because he never knows whether to use his user name or my user name.
Apps are only tied to one account... You can set up two iTunes accounts on your computer, however, and let his iPad sync to his account. If he has never backed up his apps to a computer, however, he will have to redownload all the apps. Afterwards, he can backup to iCloud instead of your computer.

When updating my iphone 4 for the first time I seem tohave lost all of my apps and the data on my apps. One of these apps was a camera and all of my photos are gone!! I had over 1000 pictures mostly of my children. I cant find them anywhere. Please help! How do i get all of my apps back with all of the data that was on them?? Thank you, LEC
app store - update - purchased - all/not on this phone - select the app you want to download by clicking on the cloud next to it.

yesterday i connect my iPhone with iTunes then one MSG displayed on screen about backup i ignore that but same time i have lost all my installed apps incouled my pics and vids from my iPhone pls help me.
1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

My ipad just synced and I lost all my paid apps,about $60.00 worth. I just reinstalled my OS Windows 7 a week ago and the iPad has synced before with no problem. Have I lost all my purchases?

I upgraded to iOS 5 and lost ALL of my apps even though they were backed up to Itunes during the process. Whenever I plug my ipad into my computer the apps that appear in Itunes are from my ipod touch. How can I get my apps back without purchasing them again?
On your iPad and iPod touch tap Settings > Store
Make sure Music is switched On under Automatic Downloads.
Now restart your iPad and your iPod touch.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

I've reset my ipad and lost all my in-app purchases
I recently had a problem with my iPad and the Genius at the Apple Store advised that I reboot my iPad "as new" (not from backup) and then get all my Apps again from the "Purchased" section of the App Store. I've done this, but now I seem to have lost all my in-app purchases. E.g. when you pay to get more levels on a game etc. Any ideas how I get these back?

I lost all my apple apps and many more apps on my iphone. Safari, Settings, Application are missing
From the home screen, swipe DOWN from the top, then in the search field type Settings. Tap the icon when it appears and then go to General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout to get the supplied apps back. Go back to the home screen and swipe down again and type the name of each downloaded app to restore.

I updated the version on my Iphone and didn't sync before ans as a result I lost all my photos, apps, and contacts. I will like to recover the deleted photos as they are very important to me, it's there a way to recover them?
did you ever do a backup. cause if you did say like a year ago. it should still be there and you could at least get the info back until that date.

what I have to do to get it back again??????Yes, most folks report that happens. Your apps are still yours but the only ones you will be able to update are the ones that are also sold in the new country's store to which you have changed your account. And you won't be alerted to these updates, you will have to keep your ear to the ground to hear about them. When you try to update you will think that you are going to be charged for the update if it's a paid app, but in the final steps the new store realizes that you have previously bought the app and update it for free.

I lost all of my apps icons today as well. I have to go to the Apps Store and click on the the app. Can't re-dowload and the app. store says that all of my apps. updates were applied. Where is this Synch Apps and the Apps Tab? On the phone or in iTunes. I hope that this works for me, too.
PS - every update that I have done has required a restore, and I only have a couple dozen apps. The Apple rep. I spoke with today said that I have to redownload the apps, but can't do that and even if I could I would loose my data. Grrrrrrr.
