Hi there, I'm looking to make a move over to Adobe Premiere and Photoshop as a next step. Up front, I'm no pro, its more from an enthusiast point of view, I'll not be editing anything more that 1080p with basic effects.
I currently have a 24" monitor driven by a GTX260. I'm wanting to increase the monitor to a 30", but it would be nice to have the 24" at its side as a preview/2nd monitor. To drive the 30" I would need to have the twin DVI outputs on my current GTX260 card, leaving nothing for the 24". However, I have a basic Quadro NVS295 sitting in a box. Could that drive the 24"?
How would that affect any GPU enhancements in Premiere ? ( and potentially Photoshop ) As I understand it, GPU enhancements would work via the GTX260 and the text hack ( it seems to work via a trial of AE5.5 - will download trails of premiere soon to check before commiting) .
But would those enhancements be disabled as soon as I spread the application over onto the second monitor driven by the NVS295 card for an output preview?
Or would I be better to change to a single card that could drive both monitors?

Sure - things happen - that is whay you always make a backup prior to an update or upgrade

Problem description:
(MacBook Pro 15” late 2008, OSX Yosemite 10.10.2 installed, no pending updates) computer is running very slow - takes 2-3 minutes to open apps such as Pages, even when no other apps are open. Randomly freezes and becomes unresponsive, requiring forced power down. Randomly logs off. Removed Kodak AIO software via Clean My Mac2, but BonjourAgent still there and requesting access. Cleaned weekly with Clean My Mac2 and running Sophos AntiVirus. 2GB memory installed. Currently 169.99 GB available of 249.2 GB capacity.

Apple ID has my old email address. It will not allow me to change the address and will not accept my password or ID questions. I recently upgraded to OSX Yosemite 10.10.1. I also have an Apple ID that works with iTunes and would like to keep it as my primary.
To change the iCloud ID on your devices you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted (if using iOS 7), then sign back in with your current ID.
If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, you will have to temporarily recreate it in order to delete the existing account. To do this, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password. -
TIP: DO NOT UPGRADE TO OSX YOSEMITE!!!
If you are on a Mac (unfortunately I'm forced to use one at the office), do not, I repeat, do NOT "upgrade" to OSX Yosemite. Adobe still hasn't figured out the conflicts between EA and Yosemite. I've been fighting issues all day with lock ups, etc. If you want to keep your sanity, wait to upgrade the OS until Adobe issues a patch.
On a side note, I can't wait to get back to my PC at home. No issues there...My user experience with Yosemite:

Underlying Error=(Error Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=5 "The operation couldn’t be completed. Input/out. Any thoughts on what is causing these errors and the upgrade failure?
ThanksI have no idea what the specific error code means but input/output errors can sometimes mean a disk is failing. Make a couple of backups of all important data before doing anything else.
Verify your startup disk using the First Aid tab in Disk Utility. If the disk needs repair boot from your Leopard DVD and repair your disk from Disk Utility under Utilities on the screen after you choose your language. Repeat the repair process until Disk Utility reports all is well.
If Disk Utility doesn't find any errors you might want to try a new download of the update and keep a sharp eye on your HD for anything else that might indicate all is not well. Take special care to back up important data.
If Disk Utility finds errors it would probably be a good idea to pay a visit to the Apple Store to have them check out your hard drive even if Disk Utility is able to repair the errors. -

I have 2 iMac 24". Just successfully upgraded to OSX-Yosemite on one. The other iMac has gotten stuck at the startup screen. On power-down then powerup, I get a White screen w apple logo.....then the loading bar is on and goes about 1/5 of the way.....then switched to plain white screen......where it has been for 8-10 hours unchanged.....what can I do? HELP!
OH.....it has the mouse cursor that moves around on the blank screen. I have tried control+command+power button....it restarts, but goes thru the same process.....Apple logo then loading bar to about 20%, then back to the white screen.....no apple logo.... Help me someone? Please?

The later iOSs requires at least OSX 10.5.8 for the Mac. You need iTunes 10.5 but 10.4.11 only goes to 9.x.. 10.5.8 is a paid upgrade.
Are you sure that you have a 3G iPod? If it is 8 or 16 GB it is a 2G and those can only go to 4.2.1 (also requires 10.5.8 or later). A 32 GB can be either 2G or 3G. To identify yours:
