I lost Firefox when I tried to install Firefox 4. I need a download link to the older version in order to use Firefox. My laptop is a Mac OS X Version 10.4.11.
My computer is a Mac OS X Ver. 10.4.11. Firefox 4 is not compatible with this version, but the older application was overwritten when I downloaded Firefox 4. Is there a link I can use to download an older version of the app that is compatible with my computer?

If you have a very old Firefox version then you could consider to uninstall that version to clean up existing registry keys (especial the uninstall key).
Make sure NOT to remove "personal data" when you uninstall Firefox, because that will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords including data in profiles created by other Firefox versions.
Check the Firefox program folder and remove the Firefox program folder if there are still files left in it.

It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure NOT to remove personal data when you uninstall Firefox as that will remove all Firefox profile folders and you lose your personal data.

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp. Restart the PC, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

In most cases you can simply "upgrade" (meaning downgrade) directly from the installation. It would be a good idea to save your passwords & bookmarks just to be on the safe side. -

I am running Windows 7 Professional. When I try to install Flashplayer, I get to step 3, and then the installaion will not proceed any further. A blank dialog box appears, with Adobe Flash Player Installer in the upper left corner. I have tried to install on Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome. Nothing works. Please help.

can i use a 2nd iphone if i install itunes on another user account.when i tried to create a second library i messed up both phones, the second one now has all my contacts and when it sends txts it either says its my other phone or email address. i can cope with the first phone and getting it back on itunes but dont want to syn the 2nd phone until i know it is independant of the other one. Deleting the account on your phone only removes if from your phone. The account and it's data remain intact and doing so will not effect your daughter's phone.
To do this, first go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn any synced data (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off, and when prompted, choose to keep the data on the phone. When finished, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Then set up a new iCloud account with a different Apple ID and turn any data you want to sync with iCloud (contact, calendars, etc.) back to On. This will upload your data to your new iCloud account. -
I got a Model Number: A1181, My hard drive burned out. I bouhgt a new hard drive Wd Blue Scorpio 500 GB. When i tried to install the MAC OS, it identifies a hard drive with 3.6 TB and i'm not able to do the installation. I touhgt the new ard drive was bad but i was able to install windows XP. Well, let's hope that nothing was jiggled out of place when you were installing the new hard drive. Your optical drive may just be out of alignment or the disc you have is "dirty." Get a lint-free cloth and some rubbing alcohol, then clean the disc as thoroughly as you can starting from the center and working outward in a concentric circlular motion. See if that helps. In particular clean the inner portion well.
If this does not help, then you have a problem. You have opened the computer yourself. That action voids all support from Apple. If you take the computer in for service the store may refuse to service the computer. This is not related to your now expired warranty. -
Please help with this problem. When trying to install itunes on my HP520 PC, I get the error message (unable to remove the older version of Bonjour as well as the message unable to remove the older version of Apple software update).
