I lost iPhoto, iDVD, iMovie! How can I get them back?

I have a PowerBook G4, which originally came with Panther. It came with iPhoto, iDVD, iMovie, Garageband (I think that's it... basically iLife). I bought Tiger and upgraded it. These programs were all still here, and with some downloads, were actually updated. Unfortunately, I was having problems with Mail, Safari, and other programs and I erased my hard drvie and started over. Before doing this, I saved all of my photos, movies, projects, etc, to an external hard drive.
Anyway, when I reinstalled Tiger, it installed it as it comes from the store, not as an upgrade, meaning iLife is not included and installed! So, I paid for all of these programs, which were originally included, and now I don't have them anymore. I tried loading them off of my original recovery discs, but the only way I think I might be able to do that is if I erase everything and start over with Panther, then reinstall Tiger. I'm not sure this will even work, and I know it will take a long time, which I don't have.
Does anyone know how I can get these programs, which I already paid for, without buying iLife?

I don't have panther but with my "full disc" of Tiger you can do it this way:
Put in the DVD of Tiger
Open pacifist-> press "not yet" or pay if you want
Open package, choose the DVD of Tiger, there choose "install bundled software"
then click open
now it's looking through the DVD and gives you all the options
for example:contentsofiMovieHDpackage
now click on that one once, then on the top either choose 'install" or "extract to"

Thanks, but I checked iCloud and it has none of them.
If it backed up to my laptop, that died and I just got the new computer. The one that's crashed won't even boot, so there's no way to even tell if it was syncing the contacts along with all the phone photos. Literally happened at the same time - it was because I had the new computer that I was finally able to pull the photos off the phone and make room for the upgrade. It had refused to upgrade for lack of space for some time.
I had thought it was set to sync to iCloud but it vanished from BOTH my phone and the cloud. That's why I'm so angry about it. -
i mistakenly dropped my iphone 4 in the bath, send it for repairing @ an apple reseller in my contry. now im trying to sunc my old iphone but find out that my photos are not backed up. how can i get the photos back. they mean the world to me alot of memories and photos of me and my father who passed away less than a year ago. what shall i do? can the techs @ the store back it up before repairing?

Me too, also upgraded to IOS 5 last night and all the apps, photos, books have disappeared from the iPod Touch. I can see them in iTunes, but can't figure out how to put them back into/onto the iPod.
I tried the right-click and choosing "restore from back-up" without success, as it had just backed up from the updated iPod without all the stuff on it.
I could use a really simple explanation: how to put the stuff that I can see in iTunes on my Mac, back onto the iPod touch??
And yes, it would be nice if Apple just posted a clear, simple explanation of how to do this . . . I haven't found that yet . . .

Lost all my notes - how can I get them back
So after getting frustrated with my notes duplicating on my mac (and only on mac) I searched on here to get it to stop and came across this solution:
entering 'rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.Notes.' into terminal - I tried this and it didn't work, the second time I did it, I accidentally left of the full stop at the end and that made the duplicating stop, but it also got rid of all my notes.
Is there a way I can get my notes back via terminal? (and not by using time machine etc)

You deleted the folder that holds all the notes. Remove (rm) deletes the files immediately. -

Why did you restore without transferring your music to your computer?
If you are in the U.S., then you can use the newly released beta version of the cloud to get your music. -
I took my Mac Mini to the Apple store yesterday since I was having trouble with difficult to read text. They recommended wiping the drive and reloading it. I lost iMovie, iPhoto and Garage band in the process. How can I get them back. The App store says they are already installed.
What I missed was that I needed to select "Purchased" rather than using the normal listing of items. Once I went to the purchased list I could easily download the various software.

What happens now, when you open iPhoto? Are the photos not showing in the library or iPhoto still crashing?
What is your current iPhoto version?
If you imported the photos into iPhoto, but are no longer seeing them after the crash, try if rebuilding your iPhoto library will find the photos inside the library. Rebuilding might collect them in a "recovered" event.

Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you lost your bookmarks. In order to check if they are still there you can look in the profile folder on the computer [[Use the Profile Manager to create and remove Firefox profiles]]
As for syncing from the android, it is possible to add the account to the desktop and the two should merge. -
I have a macbook pro and I connected a new iphone to my computer. Somehow all my pictures in the iphoto app deleted. How can I get them back, and no I do not have my TimeMachine On. Please help!
If you are running Lion then all drivers are distributed through Software Update. You do not need to install anything, other than to install the printer in System Preferences > Print & Scan. If you already added the printer while it was connected using USB, you might want to delete it and set it up again wirelessly to avoid confusion. Or, give them two distinct names e.g. "Photosmart D110 (USB)" and "Photosmart D110 (wireless)".
All scanning functions are now performed using Preview, but you can also access the scanner through the same Print & Scan preference pane, or with Image Capture.

Are they still listed on your device when you go to Settings>iCloud>Storage>Numbers? If so, they should still be in iCloud but you may need to contact support to find out why the Numbers app isn't able to access them: http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/.

Have you checked all your homescreens and app folders for them, and do they show on the iPad's spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right and type in Safari or Mail) ?
Safari can be hidden via Settings > General > Restrictions > Safari being 'off', so you could check that as well.
If you still can't find then try a reset and see if you can find them after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot
There is also Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout which will reset the layout of your apps and might make it easier to find them. -

They're not lost, they simply don't show because you settings ask it not to.

I dragged one photo to the My Pictures folder in Finder. I knew it was just one photo because it was the only one highlighted in yellow. When I saw it in Finder, it was labled iPhoto. I thought it was the wrong picture, so in Finder I deleted the file. When I got back to iPhoto, EVERYTHING was missing. Events, photos, recent, and even trash. At this point, I went into my Trash. Where did you drag the photo from?
Have you tried dragging it from the trash to the desktop? What size is it?
What size is your iPhoto library in the pictures folder?
