I've lost the CS6 installation CD

I have CS6 but have lost the installation CD. It's on my PC and I'd like it on my laptop. I have tried to copy the files from my PC to the laptop Program Files, and then install each programme from there, but it gives me an error “Error:16”. Can you help?

HI Everybody, I'm looking for it since 50 days now...but I can't find it anymore...Maybe someone took it i really don't know but THE CD1 (INSTALLATION D OF LOGIC STUDIO) I mean the only white Cd there is in the box...I ve lost it...and I don't know how I have to do to get one back, I still have the serial number but I have to reinstall logic studio on my new computer IMAC quad...well without it I can't produce music anymore because on my old macbook Pro, since I ve updated to LION 10.7.1 it Don't work anymore, then I'm really totally blocked...Could someone tells me how to arrange this fact...There must be a way to clean this big problem without buying all the logic studio Package with the 8 cds...Because I have them, I don't need everything just the CD1 (white one INSTALLATION CD)...Thanks for your reply and sorry for my english...bye...regards..STEVEN/SWITZERLAND

I lost my printer installation cd of my deskjet 3520 series

I cannot find my cd for my HP Deskjet printer 3520 series. I have manually plugged it in from the printer to my USB laptop, and then followed directions and also the test page came out okay. Then it said to finish insert the cd disk to complete installation....I do not have it, I lost it....How do I get another one? I have updates that windows is trying to do on the printer and it fails. Below is a copy of one of many fails.

can any1 help me because i lost my installer cd. some1 said i can put music into my ipod without it. if i cant, where can i get it by download??

hmmmm. the PC is just not recognising it at all, by the sound of things.
let's leave it in disk mode, and try following up on these possibilities:
Windows confuses iPod with network drive and may keep iPod from mounting or songs may seem to disappear
iPod missing in "My Computer" or in iTunes on Windows

My computer crashed and I had to have a wipe and reload. I have lost my installation CD for Photoshop Lightroom, but have the CD case with product and serial numbers. Is there a way to get a ne CD sent to me or a download that I can get for the internet?

You could try your insurance company - assuming you have your other kit insured against loss/damage.
OK, it's probably a long shot, unless you specifically have "FCP Discs" mentioned on your policy.
Maybe there's a warning to us all with a livelihood depending on software just as much as hardware. Try and put the software on the policy.

Partitions lost after ghost installation

Hi Everybody !
My friend has problem with his iMac. He wanted to install windows 7 on a separate partition.
So, he created a second partition, and he use GHOST system to install windows 7 on the partition he created earlier.
When windows installation was done, he realized that the windows delete all his OS X partitions.
He doesn't have his os x partition and his recovery partition anymore.
Is there a way to get his partition back ??
Or if not, is there a way to retrieve his data from his deleted partition ?
I thought he could use an external disk to install os x, to gain access to his disk which have deleted partition and then retrieve his data with a software ?
Does anyone knows a solution for this problem ??

He should have used Boot Camp Assistant to correctly partition his system for MS Windows. If he did then I'd suggest moving this thread to the Boot Camp forums. If he did not use Boot Camp Assistant then I'm afraid I cannot be of further assistance.

hi, iv just got my ipod back from repair and they have sent me a new one and since i sent it i purchased a new pc, does anyone know where i can download the installation disk?
iv downloaded the latest itunes and ipod update and my pc recognises the ipod and that its connected but it doesnt show up in itunes.

I've lost my "coreservices/installer.app" - Mavericks - where can I get a download of it?

I haven't a clue as to why it isn't in the library/coreservices folder but it isn't
Therefore, when I try to install a .pkg it defaults to textedit !

System files do not just vanish, they require system privileges to remove.
The CoreServices Installer.app is not an independently downloadable component. You can get it back if:
You have a full system backup (e.g. Time Machine, etc.) and can retrieve Installer.app from there.
You know someone who is running your exact operating system version
Copy Installer.app to removeable media, and on your machine, put back in /System/Library/CoreServices
Run Disk Utility on your boot drive to verify/repair permissions.
Reinstall OS X on your machine

J4550 All In One Two Sided Printing Option Lost after re-installation!?!?!?

Was wondering what I am doing wrong.
My computer crashed over the weekend and I had to restore to factory defaults.
I re-installed the printer from the installation disk that came with my All in One J4550.
I opened up a powerpoint of some menus I had made and printed before.
When I went to print out these menus there was no option available for 2 sided manual printing in the printing options/preferences page.
Before the reinstallation I had been able to print up menus using the 2-sided printing. Now it's nowhere to be found. Was this option maybe made available through an update or something?? I have downloaded several to no avail. Thanks for your help!

if you goto the HP Officjet J4550 Printing Preferences > Printing Shortcuts tab, do you see "Manually" available in the "Print On Both Sides" option?
if you goto the HP Officjet J4550 Printing Preferences > features tab, do you see the "Manual" avilable in the "two sided printing options"? if you couldnt' see the "two sided printing optios" at all it might be due to you have unchecked the "enabled advanced printing features" in the print driver. to enable this you can
1. right click on the HP Officejet J4500 printer icon
2. click on the advanced tab
3. check "enabled advanced printing features"
4. now if you go back to printing preference again you should see the "two sided printing options "available in the feature tab

My computer crashed and I lost my Acrobat Installation CD - how can I install it on another PC?

I cannot locate my Acrobat Installation CD and my laptop where it was installed keeps crashing (Blue Screen) so I want to get it fixed which will require that I will need to reinstall all my software. Is there a way that I can download it again on the other PC? I can't see it on my Adobe account as an available download.

Retrieve Lost Data from Installation

I made the most stupid mistake! I erased a few programs from my computer (ichat, garageband) and recently I decided to reinstall them. I tried to doing it so by selecting these items from the installation cd. However, it did not work. So, I decided to reinstall the whole leopard system without thinking it would clean up all my files (pretty much giving me a new computer).
Fortunately, I backed up all my files in September. However, I am trying to see if it is possible to recover a huge project I worked on in the last month. Is there any program or way to access files on the system before I reinstalled Leopard?
I'd appreciate any advice!
