I lost my drivers CD Webcam NX Ultra...

I lost my drivers CD Webcam NX Ultra and cant find in creative site. Only an upgrade, but I need the complete drivers...how can I have it's and the bundled software?

Apple provides the BootCamp Driver on the Mac OSX install DVD that came with your Mac.
After the installation of Windows insert that DVD while in WIndows and the Driver Setup should start automatically.
If you don't have the OSX DVD anymore you can call Apple and ask for a replacement.
Or you can go into the nearest store and buy a Mac OSX Snow Leopard install DVD for about 30 USD.
XP is supported with BootCamp as long as it a XP SP2 or SP3 32-bit retail or SystemBuilder version and not manufacturer-branded.

Hi please help - I was so excited to see the windows 7 drivers for my webcam NX ultra - but I cannot load them . Installation wizard gets to a certain point and then it says driver installation failed. Problems with microphone (incl. w/ WebCam NX Ultra)

This is about the only section that would be related, so I have my WebCam NX Ultra working perfectly, for the headphones/microphone that came with it, the sound works fine, but the microphone doesn't work. Apparently I have the proper drivers (which would be Generic) for the sound, but the microphone doesn't work, so I'm guessing I need a certain driver for it or something...help me out. How do I get my microphone to work?

I have had a Creative Pro Web Cam for a year and a half and in that time my family has not once been able to hear me. I could always hear them, but now can't seem to hear them either. They are losing patience. I have checked all the usual things like volume and the microphone not being in mute, etc. I have gone into the Center and the audio is enabled. What am I supposed to have for Audio Compressor and Audio Format or am I supposed to have anything. Also, should my volume setting be for playback or recording. I have tried it in both. Everything is plugged in correctly. I would just like to throw it in the garbage I am so annoyed. Downloaded Yahoo but it does not work on yahoo either. Please someone; why can they never hear me and why can't I hear them suddenly. I have tested the microphone incidentally and it works just fine. Woody

Boot Camp, Vista lost DVD drivers

I installed Vista on a Mac Pro, everything was working well. Oh for about 3 weeks, then for some unknown reason, Vista lost the drivers for the Pioneer DVD-Rw drives. I looked all over the net for Vista drivers for the Dives and nothing, (even Pioneers site) Does any one know were and how i can get the drivers reloaded, i did restored it to a point were the drives worked, and they still don't work, I get the yellow exclamation point, for both drives.. Ive tried making a copy of the CD in MAC, and transfer it over to the Window's but it will not allow me to "make changes to file folder"
Please help. (Window's game addict)

Did you install at least SP for your Windows XP? Also, have you try downloading the hotfix that the error message mention. If not give it a try since it's meant for correcting some issue of USB with SP.

Will the Webcam NX Ultra work with the Vista operating system? Thank you.

If you haven't try the XP 64 bit driver,

before trying to install right click on it, click on the Compatibility tab and set it to XP mode. May or may not work, but doing this worked for me with my Webcam Instant and the XP 64 driver.
P.S. If the above link doesn't work try this one,

Help-Webcam live Ultra notebook w/ facetracker

Help. I just installed webcam live Ultra botebook, but everytime I try to disable face tracking, it automatically comes back on almost instantly. Is there a way to disable face tracking or a software addition that would allow manual control and zoom of camera?

Maybe you can try uninstall and reinstall the software.

Hello, i recently e-mailed to the customer service of creative and asked for a windows x64 driver for the webcam NX Ultra. Since it isn't quite clear to me weither or not there is one or not, or it is in development, i don't know.

You can find a compatibility list in our knowledgebase by searching for article SID7824. Unfortunately, it appears that the WebCam Vista and NX have no development planned for x64.

Webcam NX Ultra - Hardware Cant Start Code 10

I have the Webcam NX Ultra - after making several attempts to install i continue to get the error message Hardware Cant Start Code 10.
Does this mean my webcam is defective or is that a software problem?
I am runing Win XP

i have already done that, but the generated script would not work
anyways, there is an update now, i have edited xorg.conf and set the driver for my nvidia card to be "vesa".
ofcourse the graphics card does not work properly (nvidia-settings cant do anything here unless i am running xorg via the nvidia driver).
now here is the part that is driving me crazy: i am running xorg perfectly (with KDE or GNOME) when i am root. but i cannot do it when i am in my own user although i have added my user to the video group :S
i would like a way to run my graphics card perfectly and in my user not as root

Webcam NX ultra Image always visible???

Can someone help me?
Is it possible to have the webcam image stay visible"on top" of any application that I call up?
How do I do it thanks so much for any help.

I had the same problem with the Webcam Live! Ultra. Having tried everything creative suggested and uninstalling, reinstalling latest drivers and software for everything I own I even tried a fresh install of Windows XP Professional..but all I got was the same black screen.
So, I went into my BIOS and disabled my USB 2.0 Controller thus leaving only my USB . Controller enabled. Now I get an image perfectly fine! Shame I have to run my USB at slower speeds, but at least everything works. Maybe a future Creative Webcam driver or VIA USB driver will fix the problem, or maybe I will just have to wait until I upgrade my motherboard to have full USB 2.0 support.

Errors when installing VF0060 - Webcam Live Ultra

When I am running the installaltion CD, at around 9% completion I get an error that says "Installation is unable to continue because of one or more unresolved issues. Please contact support services and quote "Error I-001".
This is followed by the message - 'DoInstall fails to launch E:\WEBCAM\\WCenter\SETUP. INX. DoInstall return error code is -2472332.
The installation proceeds after acknowledging these messages (which come twice)
The drivers get installed and I can use the webcam
But the Creative Web Cam center DOES NOT get installed, only the user guide gets installed.
So I am not able to make use of the complete features of the webcam - please help. I tried disabling my Webroot spysweeper - does not help

I have a similar situation:
Case - In very low light conditions, with auto exposure ON: if I set FPS at 30, I actually get about 20 and a dark image as if auto exposure wasn't working
Case 2 - In very low light conditions, with auto exposure ON: if I set FPS at 25 or less, I actually get about 5 but a very good image (auto exposure works dramatically well).
Case 3 - In very low light conditions, with auto exposure OFF: effecti've FPS matches whatever I set it at, but I get a very dark image
Case 4 - Now, in low to normal light conditions, regardless of auto exposure being ON or OFF, I can set FPS at 30, actually get 30 and a very good image (auto exposure works dramatically well).
I'm curious why auto exposure seems to play such an important role on frame rate and image quality, under very low light. Is exposure adjustment done at the camera or by software? I'm running a 3 ghz processor with lots of headroom.

Webcam nx ultra installing problem

Hello- I need help!! I have tried installing the software for the nx ultra webcam but each time I try to plug in the webcam it shows me the same message. The file "ksuser.dll" on (unknown) is needed, then it asks to type the path where the file is located and click "ok", below that it says copy files from: and then gives me an option to browse. Does anyone know whats wrong? I bought this from Dell and I have already emailed them asking for help and they dont know what to do? so this is my last resort, I hope someone can help me.... I only got this webcam so I could talk via webcam with my husband in IRAQ.

The file ksuser.dll is a Microsoft file, it should included on your Windows installation CD. Which version of Windows do you have (Windows98, WindowsXP, etc)?
Go to the Windows search option and type this filename in there, and see if it finds it. If it's already on your system, when the prompt asks you for the location you can just point to the one it found during the search. Otherwise you may need to point it to your Windows Operating System installation CD.

Updated to mountain lion and lost printer drivers

I updated my iMac software to Mountain Lion and lost all my printer drivers. I thought that it was going to update those also.

"Printer drivers" implies more than one? Which ones?
ML has built in support for many printers. If yours are (is) on the list, you merely have to reinstall the printer. Go to Apple Menu / System Preferences / Print & Scan - then click on the + sign to add a printer.

If your printers are not on the list, the drivers will have to be found on the manufacturers' web sites.
