I lost my phone in a septa bus in Philadelphia and I am wondering how could I track my phone. Unfotuantely, I was not using my SIM card in my phone at that ime. I had a nother phone and I was using my I phone for reading. Is there a way to help? thank you!
If you didnt activate Find My iPhone on you're device then you are out of luck.

mahmoudYou can only find it IF you had already signed up for iCloud and activated "Find my iPhone" on there BEFORE it was lost. And even then, the iPhone has to be "on" and it cannot have been reset by someone who found it. Other than that all you can do is physically look for it.

Log into Android Device Manager from another android or through your Google Account. Google "Android Device Manager" and the first page will pop up. You can locate it that way. That's provided ADM is enabled on your phone.

Earlier I couldn't access my yahoo email on Mail app and i deleted and resubmitted my account to see if that would help with my Mail app problems...

Thank you. I was afraid of that. I backed up from iCloud. I looked at the iTunes one - it had four different ones on there; was hoping I could see because my grandson's phone was redone last year (his mom messed it up then) and didn't know anything was backed up to iTunes. He lost a lot of stuff that time. I'm just trying to get his phone back to par after someone changed his passcode on him as a joke and forgot what they changed it to a few days ago. They should change it so one could go in and pick what they want or don't want. Thank you again for your time. I do appreciate it.

IF you do find a backup that has your contacts; I'd /highly/ recommand turning off your wifi network after the restore is finished because if the issue is with your iCloud your contacts may merge back with her's.
With iCloud you DO NOT want to share the account; bad things happen Evil evil thigns...
But in all seriousness; if two devices have the same iCloud; iCloud is told to merge and sync infomation between hte two and can't tell that it doesn't belong to the same person -

But it is easier to create one or more playlists and sync by selected playlists. You can have some playlists for both phones and others for just one phone.

Yes, go to your 'iTunes Store' app on your iPhone or whatever device you lost them on, then go to the 'more' tab, and choose 'purchased', then find your ringtones that you wanted and redownload them, you won't need to repay for them.

The difficulty is you have to unencrypt during the restore process, which you cannot do with an Android device.

I don't know where the contacts came from on that are now on my new phone. There are way too many and it is not my list of contacts I have on gmail. Where else is this from? I spent a LONG time on gmail going through my list of contacts. There were about 400 and I got it down to about 90. When I went to sync my new phone, ALL 400 synced.

That doesn't sound like a wise thing to have done.
At this point having lost your software purchase, the quickest way will be to purchase and install it from the Mac App Store. It is not expensive and can then be installed on multiple Macs using the same Apple I.D.
