I lost my iPhone while am traveling in the airport. I turn it in to airplane mode. I used my iCloud as well and install already the find my iPhone application. Once I logged in, I couldn't find the iPhone I the list in this application_please help me!!
What if I have it's serial number? Wouldn't help?
The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords.

I recently had to completely restore my laptop, so I lost the music on my itunes. It's still on my iphone, but how can I keep the music I already have and continue to add more music from the newly set up itunes again? Is there actually a way to do this? I can't help but wonder what the stupid icloud is for if my music is still somewhere in the 'cloud' but it's zero help for restoring music when it's lost on a computer....any help even a site that get's around apple would be great!
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.

If so, not good, you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone to your computer. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

That's what backups are for. Use Time Machine. It's free and external drives are cheap. To recover your iPhone's content requires the use of third party utilities. Success is not guaranteed. Read:

Sorry, but officially Apple does not allow redownloads of purchased items other than iPhone/iPod touch applications. The official statement of their policy can be found here, among other places.
For redownloading apps, look here for instructions. For songs, movies, and videos, if you don't have a backup of your purchased items and don't have them on another iOS device, you may be out of luck and will need to repurchase your content.
If you have your content on an iOS device, post back and someone here can help you get them restored. Otherwise you can try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service (select the "Music Purchases" or "Video Purchases" category, as appropriate, then "Lost or Missing Items". You'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button) ") and explaining what happened. i've setup a new account on my PC and its lost all my songs apart form 14 of them and i can only see my apps that were already on my iphone and ipad and also i cant download my songs/apps that i already own.
You have to download the iPhone version of the app - if there are two different versions and if you do not want to pay for the iPad version.
Look in the App Store for the iPhone version and then try to download that one, -

Or is there any way to locate my phone through those numbers? (I do not have the FindMyPhone apps)If you had a pin code lock on the phone then your information is safe. If not then nothing in it is safe and I would suggest changing passwords to all accounts you had on the iphone ASAP. Also if you had find my iphone activated on the phone then you could go to icloud and wipe the phone remotely. If you didn't then there is nothing you can do about it.

If you enabled lost mode, that means the device did not show up in the tracking system when you logged into iCloud. If it is offline for any reason, there is nothing you can do to it remotely. You would have to wait until or if it ever does come back online.
At this point, I'd assume it is gone. If the person who has it knows your passcode to swipe to gain access to the contents, then your information is already compromised by now. -

Contact the police about the theft. Change passwords on any accounts used with the device. Contact the carrier about discontinuing service and possibly blocking future contracts with the phone. Shop for a new phone. -

I have the app Find Iphone, and my kids' ipods are linked to the app because we share an itunes account. My son cannot find his ipod, in which, he took it on a mini-vacation with friends. He never took it out of their vehicle, but it may have fallen out at some point, just not sure. When I check my app, it simply reads offline. I want to know if there will be a way to know if someone has reset it (even if I cannot locate them)? I don't want to keep wasting my time looking to see if it somehow was connected to the internet when it has already been cleared. Help pleased?
Will it continue to say that the device is in lost mode if it has been restored? My Find Iphone is saying that when the device is connected to the internet that it will be locked and that a message (that I typed in) will appear. It also says that I will be notified and that a sound will occur when it is connected. Now my iphone has been updated to the ios7, but I don't think his ipod was updated.

iPhone 5S lost voice mail and when I tap vm icon the phone dials voice mail and gets busy signal. No other options show.

Help!Other than changing the SIM card, you don't mention any troubleshooting you did with your phone.
If you haven't already, try the following steps as needed:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Setting.
Reset phone - press both home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo appears.
Restore phone in iTunes using a backup
Restore in iTunes as a new iPhone
IF the last step doesn't fix it, there is a hardware problem and you should make an appt. with an Apple Store Genius Bar. The fact that you haven't dropped the phone by no means rules out hardware issues.
