Im from pakistan...I loss my iphone 5 three days ago im trying to trace it with app find my iphone but it doesnt work properly and lost mode is turned on and says request pending. now i wanna block it but i don't have that box because my mom thrown it in garbage. what i need to do ? i have only last5 digits though ICloud acc, is there any possibility to block it? i have icloud acc............i request to apple support help me out too...kindly do some more changes in software don't let it turn off when passcode is on and automatically connect find my iphone when it connect to wifi it might help us more to get it back.

Sorry you lost your iPhone but without the Find My iPhone app installed except for reporting the theft to local authorities, you're pretty much out of luck.

Hello, i lost my IPhone today and i have a lot of personal information on it. I dont have a passcode on my phone so anyone could open my phone and get my information. Is there anyway i could shut off my IPhone or lock it until i find it

It sounds like it was not enabled. Unfortunately there is little else you can do but change your Apple ID password and report your lost phone to local law enforcement & wireless carrier as the article suggests.
What to do if your iOS device is lost or stolen
If you did not enable Find My iPhone on your missing device
If you did not enable Find My iPhone before it was lost or stolen, you can't use it to locate or protect your device, but you can still follow these steps:
Change your iCloud password to ensure that no one else can use your device to delete or make changes to your iCloud data.
Report your lost or stolen device to local law enforcement and your wireless carrier. Apple doesn't track or flag lost or stolen products, but you can use My Support Profile (supportprofile.apple.com) to find a list of serial numbers for products that you've purchased or registered with your Apple ID.

New iphone user - help needed with sync and icloud

I have 389 contacts on my iphone 4S,but only 370 are appearing in icloud on my laptop. When I look at "Groups" on my iphone there are two - icloud which contains the 370 that have sync'd ok, and my Apple account name (or e-mail address, they're the same) which contains 379. Presumably the missing 19 are somewhere in this 379, as when both groups are enabled I have the total of 389.
Any suggestions how I can get all my 389 contacts (and future new ones that I add) to sync correctly?

Because there is only 19 I would go to icloud.com and sign in. I would add each one into your contacts that way and delete the duplicates.

We are fellow users here on these forums (and this is the Using iPad forum), you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple - I've asked the hosts to remove your phone number from your post (it's not a good idea to post personal info on any public forum).
Unless you had Find My iPhone enabled on it then there isn't any way to locate it. If you did have it enabled then you could try locating it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another iOS device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPhone disabled on it.
If you think that it was stolen then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc., and you should contact your carrier.

whether its a iphone 4s or iphone 5 your only hope to track it is through the find my iphone app. if you didnt do that then you cant track it. call your local law enforcement and put in a case about it
