Okay. I lost my phone last cuople of months it really meant allot to me it had my pictures of me when i was a baby, my bestfriends. Just every little picture means allot! I have my emergency numbers. Notes are also private. Just lastnight i messaged my Iphone, and said " Hello i'm looking for my iphone it think you have it" She said " No i don;t think so i bought it off of a dealer last week" I dont thinnk that new phone would have my old number email, icloud ect! Somebody help me.

Did you have Find My iPhone activated when you lost it? Did you log into iCloud to see if the device is located? When you messaged the phone last night, were you using an iOS Device, another iPhone, iPad or Mac computer? If you iMessaged, it would probably use your Apple ID instead of your phone number. Didn't you change all of your passwords, report the device missing to your carrier to allow them to blacklist it? You didn't log into iCloud to lock/wipe the phone?

It's not likely to re-connect to a network lying on the ground somewhere and getting rained on, it would be really great if I could see that map again so I could use it's last known location to find it. Kind of pointless to have a 24 hr killswitch deadline. If I had known I would have taken a screen-shot while I still had access to the information. Since I lost the phone at Canada's Wonderland (which is now closed for the season) I don't have access to the location where I lost the phone (under a roller-coaster probably), and so I wanted to send the Lost And Found people a screen-shot of it's last known location, but I guess I can't do that now. (Apple are big jerks)

If you are saying that you both have iCloud accounts and use the same icloud ID, then yes, the contacts will be deleted. The idea is that all devices using the same icloud ID are kept in sync. You need to use different IDs. You can keep the same iTunes ID so you can share the songs and apps. But use different icloud IDs.

You would't be able to do this with the iPhone.
You can access your iCloud online contacts with a supported address book app on your computer. Export the contacts from there for import into your Gmail online address book.
Or you can login with your iCloud account via webmail access using a browser on your computer. There is an option for selecting all contacts followed by exporting all as a single vCard file on your computer. If Google supports importing vCards, you can import the contacts that way.

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.

In order for a lost iPhone to be located you have to have set 'Find My iPhone' up on it before losing it, and it has to be on, not wiped, and able to connect to a network (how else could it transmit its location) - if any of these conditions is not true then locating it is not possible. You can't use the serial number or IMEI number to locate a phone: the former is only useful to identify it as yours if it turns up, and the latter can be used by most service providers to block it, rendering it useless and preventing anyone from spending your credit.

AppleCare extends Apple's 12 month warranty. It is NOT insurance on the phone, and certainly does NOT cover accidental damage like breakage.
