When you open the File menu, you should have 19 options, including 'Manage catalogs, Ctrl+Maj+C'.
All options should be available (not grayed out).
Using the 'Manage catalogs' option should open a new dialog.
In the white panel on the bottom you should find one or several catalogs found by the Organizer.
In the upper right part, two buttons : Open and Convert.
Click on 'Convert' which should open a new dialog allowing you to find the catalog to convert. The organizer should find most older catalogs in the list on the bottom. If you don't see your catalog to convert, you can tick the checkboxes to 'show previously converted catalogs' or to browse to their location.
Highlight the catalog to convert and click the convert button.

How can I get the photos from my old icloud backup on to my computer?

I got a replacement phone and now there are 2 iphone backups. There's the old phone with the pictures on it I would like to put on to my windows 8 pc. I can't figure out how to get them. I can't restore them to my iphone because I already have another file in icloud for that. How can I get the old file with my pictures on to my computer??

You can only access them by restoring the backup to your phone. You can backup your phone (such as by backing it up to your computer using iTunes), restore the old backup, transfer the recovered photo to your computer (iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer), then restore the backup you made earlier to return your phone to its current state.

The best way besides email and text is to backup your iPhone 3GS to either your computer using iTunes or backup to iCloud. Once the backup is made you will have to restore the 4S from either the backup in iTunes or restore it from the iCloud backup.

Hi- trying to publish my first '08 iWeb page (used iWeb in previous versions) and have a google map but when I place it on my page it covers up a photo. I can't get the map to have it's own space; if I drag a photo out of the way, another one takes it's place! I know there must be a simple fix for this and if I play around with it for another hour, I might figure it out but I am hungry, need my breakfast and don't want to waste a whole day trying to figure this out. I tried the Help but it didn't really answer my question but maybe I didn't word it right so I thought I'd try here and see if someone can help. Judy

It will ask you to login again, I don't know why.
If you setup and enabled Find my iPhone on your iPhone, you will see a map showing exactly where your iPhone is. within a few feet. If your iPhone is powered off, you won't see it.
If you did not setup and enable Find my iPhone on your iPhone, you will see nothing on the map.

Save your photo stream photos to your camera roll by opening the my photo stream album, tapping Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. Then you can import them to your computer using your usb cable, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.
If you want them streamed to your computer, you have to sign into your iCloud account and enable photo stream, as explained here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html. However, you will only receive photo stream photos from the last 30 days as older photos are no longer in iCloud (even though they may be on your iPad).
