Applecare has nothing to do with a lost or stolen device.
You would have to buy a new ipod.

I don't use iTunes's "fetch artwork", so I'm not 100% sure, but unless you are signed in to your iTunes account, artwork is not automatic. Even then, iTunes doesn't always find it.
You can copy-and-paste artwork from the inernet, either Amazon or Google. I use 300x300 pixel images.
For the future, if you have iTunes questions, you might be better off posting them in the iTunes for Mac forum, this is iTunes for Windows. In this situation, it doesn't make any difference, but next time maybe it will.

If you had set up the FindMyiPhone feature you could try locating it by logging into www.icloud.com and using the aforementioned feature. Keep in mind that in order for this to work, your iPod must be powered on and connected to a Wi-fi network, as well as a few other conditions.

Maybe a physic can help since there is no other way except to look for it. Report to the police and change the passwards for all accounts used on the iPod.

I've lost my iPod and it had "findmyiphone" turned on but I can't track it from my ipad, it's not even coming up as offline.

I say lost, it was taken from my bag in school, if anyone knows a way of tracking it down I'd really appreciate the help

If you set up the Find My iPod service prior to the iPod going missing - the app is for tracking an iOS device from another iOS device - then there is a chance that can be tracked, though it depends on a number of factors (the iPod is turned on, connected to a WiFi network, and has not had the Find My iPod service disabled). Log into icloud.com and go to the Find My iPhone section. Note, though, that you'll only get the location of the WiFi router to which the iPod is connected; there's no way to pinpoint the exact location of the iPod itself.
If you did not set up Find My iPod, then there is no way to track it. Notify the police and change any passwords for any online accounts you may have used from your iPod (the iTunes Store, for instance).

You've posted in the wrong forum, try the ipod forum. At any rate, if the device is offline, that means it's out of power, not connected to the internet or has been reset by the person using it now.

HT1694 Where is the setting in IOS7 to set the number of emails. In IOS6 I had it set to 100, but now I have over 500 with the update

After upgrading to IOS7 my email is no longer limited to 100 as I had previously set it. I now have over 500 and can't find the limit setting anymore.

I am having the same problem, only I have over 2,000 emails now showing up. I used to only get 200. I never did set that figure up in my phone, it change with software updated. 2 upgrades ago, the phone only carried 100.
Maybe Apple is now letting all our email through.

The only person that can help you is the prior owner with Apple ID and password.
Without that it is completely worthless.
If you can't get the Apple ID and password then return for a refund of your money.
