I lost my ipod at school and i used icloud to find it but it says no connection, which means there is no wi-fi... how can i find it?

I am super worried!!!!! Help me!

Wait for it to be connected to wifi. or look for it the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have to iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
- Apple will do nothing

  • I lost my iPod at school and I found the Serial Number. How can i find it?

I can't find my Ipod touch 5th Gen. I lost it at school. How can I find it? I have the Serial Number.

You can only track it if you had the iCloud "Find-my-iPhone/iPod" feature enabled and with a Wi-Fi internet connection. Go to icloud.com.
If you had iOS 7 installed the thief/founder can't use it after wiping because of iOS 7 Activation Lock.
Report it to the police (give them your s/n), and change all passwords, especially your Apple ID.

What To Do If Your iDevice Is Lost Or Stolen
    iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad
If you activated Find My Phone before it was lost or stolen, you can track it only if it is connected to the Internet by Wi-Fi or cellular. What you cannot do is track your device using a serial number or other identifying number. You cannot expect Apple or anyone else to find your device for you. You cannot recover your loss unless you insure your device for such loss. It is not covered by your warranty.
If your iPhone, iPod, iPod Touch, or iPad is lost or stolen what do you do? There are things you should have done in advance - before you lost it or it was stolen - and some things to do after the fact. Here are some suggestions:

  • I just purchased an Ipod touch and have been following the download instructions, but it says cannot connect to server.  I have an unsecured wifi in my house.  What am I doing wrong?

I purchased an Ipod touch today and have benn following the install instructions and have rung into a bit of a snag.  It keeps saing it cannot connect to the server.  I have unsecured wifi in my house.  I don't understand?  Help.

By following the install instructions I presume that this means that you have installed the latest iTunes on your PC and have connected the iPod Touch to your PC with the USB connection cable that came with the iPod?
You mention WiFi, does this mean that your PC is connected to the internet through WiFi?
Check to see if you have anti-virus or firewall software running on your PC. If so, temporarily disable it while setting up your iPod. Also check to see if a firewall is setup in your router.

  • I just made a new icloud account and i want to restore my phone but i no longer have photos in my photo stream. So how can I save my photos when i restore my phone?

I just made a new icloud account and i want to restore my phone but i dont want to lose my pictures. and i no longer have any photos on my photostream.

Photos/videos in the iPhone's camera roll can be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4083
After restoring your iPhone with iTunes, you can transfer the photos and/or videos back to your iPhone via the iTunes sync/transfer process. This is selected under the photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
Or you can create a backup for your iPhone with iTunes on your computer and when restoring your iPhone with iTunes, you can restore from the iPhones backup. Photos/videos in the iPhone's camera roll are included with the iPhone's backup. Although included with your iPhone's backup, I would still import the photos/videos from your iPhone's camera roll first.

  • My ipod was stolen and i want to get it back but it says i cant track it can someone please help me

    please help me

Find my iPod Touch (iOS 4.2.1 and greater) - http://images.apple.com/ipodtouch/built-in-apps/find-my-ipodtouch.html - has to be enabled before device is lost.  It also requires the device be on and connected to registered WiFi network, and not having been restored by the finder (if it was really stolen then the thief has probably restored it).  If you have activated the "Find My" feature, go to https://www.icloud.com or use the Find My iPhone app - http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/find-my-iphone/id376101648?mt=8
Setting up iCloud (requires iOS5) - http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/ios.html - includes activating the 'Find My' feature.
Frankly in the case of a stolen iPod this almost never works. Report it to the police.  Change passwords on accounts. Go shopping for a new iPod.

  • HT204022 i had an ipad and mac air,,my concern is all my photos from my iPad is still there i already tried to delete and transfer  it to my mac air but still some of photos from photo stream still in my iPad how can i completely delete all photos from my

im having a prob on how to tranfer all my photos from my ipad including the photostream and completely delete all my photos in my ipad,,help,,

im having a prob on how to tranfer all my photos from my ipad i
    To transfer your photos:
Transfer and erase the Camera Roll:
Connect the iPad to your computer and launch Image Capture, iPhoto, or Aperture.
Select your iPad in the Devices list and click "Import all".
When the import finishes, you can erase the contents of the Camera Roll, if you want. That would be the quickest way, but deleting it on the iPad in the Photos.app would be safer, but more work.
Delete photos and video clips you synced to your computer using iTunes: Connect your device to your computer and, in iTunes, deselect the photos and video clips you want to remove from your device. Click Apply, and click Sync.
    Delete the Photo Stream contents:
How do I delete photos from My Photo Stream?
You can delete photos from your photo stream the same way you delete other photos from your iOS device or Mac. Just select the photos you want to remove, and tap the trash can icon or click Delete. On your PC, select the photos you want to remove from your photo stream, right-click, and then select delete. When you delete a photo from Photo Stream on one device, iCloud will automatically delete it from the Photo Stream album or view on your other devices. Learn more about deleting photos.

  • I lost my iPod Touch 4G and when i found it, it keeps making the noise how do i stop it

I lost my ipod touch 4G and i used Find My iPhone to find it, which worked.  Does it just when unlocked Understood its found?

Read here >  MobileMe: Troubleshooting the Find My iPhone app
"Your device is no longer locatable" message
If you see this message, Location Services (or Find My iPhone in iOS 3.x) was turned off on your lost device while you were using the app. You will not be able to locate your device anymore, but you can still display a message on its screen, have it play a sound, remotely lock it, or remotely wipe it.

  • I lost my iPod (5th Gen) and I need to find it!

    Hello,
Today I lost my iPod Touch (5th Gen) at school, I have an idea of who has it but I cannot ask until Monday and plus, the person isn't the most trustworthy person. Anyway, it has iOS 7 installed, I was using earlier today, I have tried using iCloud to locate it but all I got was "All Devices Offline". Any help whatsoever to find it would be AMAZING! If I can get it to make a loud sound in case I misplaced it, or how to leave a message? If I require an iPhone I can use my mum's iPhone 4.
    Many thanks in advance!
