I lost my iPod. I know it couldn't of gone far but how can I locate it
I had my iPod touch in the car but I cant find it and I want to know the website on how to locate it
As already mentioned, if you did not install the app "Find my iPod" before, it can't be located:

I am on Vacations in Nicaragua and I just lost my Ipod. I did not turned on the ICloud. How can I use "Find my Ipod".? please help me.
You cannot use it. You would have had to set it up on your ipod itself before you lost it. Since you did not "turn on the icloud", then you have not set up find my ipod.
Sorry.
There is no way to track your ipod. -
I lost my iPod at school and I found the Serial Number. How can i find it?
I can't find my Ipod touch 5th Gen. I lost it at school. How can I find it? I have the Serial Number.
You can only track it if you had the iCloud "Find-my-iPhone/iPod" feature enabled and with a Wi-Fi internet connection. Go to icloud.com.
If you had iOS 7 installed the thief/founder can't use it after wiping because of iOS 7 Activation Lock.
Report it to the police (give them your s/n), and change all passwords, especially your Apple ID. -
I lost my ipod and sent a lock request via icloud. But how do you cancel it?
I need the person who found it to log into the internet so I can locate it!!
I know of no way. I looked at previous discussions with your same questions and cound not find a way to canels any (wipe, lock) request.

IPOD Touch was stolen from my son, at the YMCA, 7540 Hull Street Road, N Chesterfield, VA 23235-5810. Does anyone know, how to locate it, if it's offline?
Change your iTunes password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod. If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number). If any passwords are associated with your bank or any savings institution, contact them also and discuss approprate action with them.
The "Find my..." function is pretty much useless if the device is in the hands of a thief. All that is necessary is for the thief to connect to any computer with iTunes and "Restore as new."
The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself. Something as small as an iPod should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries. -
I had locked the phone. can anyone use it. I have all my personal photos and imporatnt telephone nos. Can I retrieve those?
The serial number will do nothing to help you locate it.
There is nothing to download. Find my iphone is a built in feature on the iphone. All you had to do was turn it on from the iphone. If you failed to do this, then you cannot locate it or disable it.
Change your passwords, and alert your carrier. There is nothing more to do.
You should be storing all info/data on your computer/cloud service. Nothing should only be on your iphone. If you have failed to do this, then the data/info is gone.

How can I locate my lost iPod Touch if my location was off and user ID was changed?
I lost 3 Apple devices during house break in. How can I locate my lost Apple devices if my location was turn off,
without "Find My Phone" apps and user ID was changed. The 3 devices are iPod Touch, iPad 2 and iPhone 3gs.
I had made a Police Report and was told that I can request to get information to track my devices upon WIFI or
internet connection. I hope "APPLE" team will help me to track my devices with IP locations, GPS, built in compass,
or quickly send directions, updated informations and mobile data to find out and coordinates them.
Given point will also help the police to capture them.
Awaiting your reply.
Thank you. Rgd,
Sean Khor
<Personal Information Edited by Host>There is no Apple here, just users like you and me. Apple does not provide nor have that information, as far as I know, but if police needs that information, they have a legal way of contacting Apple. If I were you I would avoid trusting Internet forum, assessable by anyone with your personal information.

my computer crashed so i had to reformat, but the only problem is i lost my old itunes account, had to download new version. Now i have an ipod full of music but how can i place all my music I have on the ipod into my new itunes account??
Not if you first do a sync and have iTunes make a backup. However, if your only copy of the iTunes data is in the Touch, then you need to first copy the data to a new iTunes Library using third-party software such as Phone To Mac.

I have lost my iPod touch however it was not connected to wifi network , how do i find it . A reply would be very appreciated
you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.
- Apple will do nothing without a court order

I am planning a long vacation and taking my laptop but it is my home computer that my new ipad and ipod touch are synced too. I know i can backup to the cloud over wifi but how can i do things like delete photo albums instead of having to manually delete pictures one by one on the Ipad. Is there any way also to add my pictures to the ipad other than through email. i am assuming that i can't just install itunes on the laptop and sync to that. I have been told that i always have to sync to my original synced home computer for that.
The links below have instructions for deleting photos.

How can i locate my lost ipod?
how can i locate my lost ipod?
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

How can I locate my lost iPhone 4s? I have my serial number. But I don't know how. please help me.
The serial number will not help you locate it.
IF you turned on the find my iPhone feature on the iPhone itself, then go to iCloud.com
If you did not, then you cannot locate it. -

HT1689 How can I locate a lost iPod touch?
How can I locate a lost iPod touch?
If you have previously set up/configured the FindMyIPod service in the iPod's settings, you might be able to track it that way by going to www.icloud.com and signing in with your Apple ID. Then click the FindMyiPod icon. This also requries that the iPod Touch be still powered on, connected to a nearby Wi-Fi network whose location has been correctly entered into Apple's location database) and not have been restored by somebody else who my have located the device.
Otherwise, I'm afraid you are out of luck and will need to look for it as you would anything else you lose. You should report the lost item to the local authorities and change any and all passwords to any accounts you may have set up or accessed with the device. Apple can do nothing to help.

Apple TV (newest gen) 110V vs. 220V
Hi I am from Europe but currently in the US on vacation. I was wondering if the Apple TV would work in Europe without any change because we have the 220 V and not the 110 V as here. Any comments are very appreciated ;-)

Hey Guys, I'm looking into buying a new Mac, and I'm thinking either the 13" Macbook Pro or the Macbook Air. However, I've heard that Apple typically ramps up the hardware of their notebooks around this time of year, so I don't want to jump the gun.

I have tried to download an audiobook that contains Two Parts. The second part was successful in downloading. However, the first part was not. I keep getting "Part 1 could not download at this time". I should have enough space for the download.
