Maybe be yes, maybe no. Also, while it may work initially after drying, you may get internal corrosion that will cause problem in the future.
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours.

I took it back to best buy and they said it had a defulted battery, and that I needed to call the company. So I did and they had me send it in. Will they send me a new ipod, or a refurbished one. Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I note that several people are having problems loading MS Word files into Pages and the answers have not been helpful. I too, have had this problem recently, whereas a few weeks ago the uploads worked as the manual said. Now, a MS Word 2 doc is rejected

Perhaps the problem lies in the version of the Word file. Does anyone know what versions Pages 09 will accept? I have re-installed iWorks09, but that did not solve the problem. My operating system is 10.6.8 and I am current on updates.

The Word 2 doc is ancient. I wouldn't even know where to find one to test.
The obvious thing to test is open the documents you previously opened successfully.
If they still open successfully, then it is highly likely that the version that is the problem.

My FaceTime won't work on my iPod 4th Generation anymore. I don't understand why. A few weeks ago, it worked perfectly fine. Then I had updated it, and it does not let me verify my email.

A few weeks ago, my iPod 4th Generation's FaceTime was working fine. Until, unfortunately, a day or two after I had updated my iPod to the new iOS 5 software, it had stopped working. I'm not sure if this is just a coincidence, but it is bugging me. I've tried signing in, and it works, but once I get to the page where I must verify or put in an email address so you may FaceTime from, I am sent back to the sign in page. I have tried numerous times to sign in different accountsI have or just use different contact email. But, if I put in ([email protected]) for a sign in, and ([email protected]) for an address it may be called from, I always end up with the popup coming up and saying "Cannot verify because it is already in use. Although, no one knows any of my emails or passwords. I only have one email registered on my brothers iPad, but i try signing out of his and disabling it, so i may use it. But it doesn't work, in the past it did, I could even use an email for 3 iPods and iPads. but not anymore. i don't know what to do. Can i please get help?

Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything...
To minimise loss... Connect to iTunes on the computer you Usually Sync with and Restore from the most recent Backup...

A few weeks ago an itunes upgrade did not install properly on my PC so I had to uninstall itunes and everything associated with it. I was able to reinstall itunes and it works fine including syncing with my ipod. However, now whenever I open my email (outlook) a box pops up stating MobileMe Services has stooped working. This happens a couple of times after I click to close the program. This a nusance and really slows down getting to my email. From what I've found MobileMe was something that used to be used by itunes to sync mobile devices but is no longer used by itunes. I can't find a way to remove this MobileMe from my PC. I've tried going into Contol Panel then Programs and Features to uninstall it but there is no button there to uninstall it. Any suggestions on how this can be removed?

I have shut down the iPad several times, checked to make sure I have the latest update and read everything I can find about history.
