Anything is possible.
it could be off or not connected to wi-fi.
It could have been found and restored.
In any of these cases you will not be able to find it.

How would I be able to pull up all of the text messages tat were in my phone over the course of 2 years and back them up to my computer since my phone has a broken screen and can no longer read the mesages.
If the messages are stored on the device and you can power the device up you can use the application posted at https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/770529 , the application has a screen capture option and you can use the screen as a guide to install MyBackup from Market or a number of backup apps from Market and then you can run the applications and backup data to your SD Card to restore to the replacement device.

Firefox not only disappears from my dock but also from my Applications folder. I tried to downl0ad it again today (5/19/2011), however, it says my system isn't compatible because I don't have an Intel processor. Any suggestions. When I connect my ipod to my computer it opens my documents and won't show up in my itunes and I have unistalled then reinstalled itunes and reset my ipod twice and it stills does the same thing how can I make it so that it shows up in my itunes?

My iPod touch is not charging, nor is it syncing with my commputer and iTunes. It will charge on the wall charger, and in the car, but not on the computer. My wife's iPod Nano syncs on the computer. I went in and reset my iPod Touch back to factory settings and now it will not let me get in unless I sync to iTunes on my computer. Well, it still will not connect thru the USB cord. Does anyone know what I should do to get this corrected? I want my iPod back.

I just bought the new ipod touch, but when I try to sync it I get told to use the cloud and download from there. How do I sync it to my itunes so that I get all my songs without going through cloud? Otherwise if this isn't possible I am taking this back!

Hold down the on/off button and the home button for 20 to 30 sec, when the iPod starts and the Apple logo is on the screen release the on/off button but continue to hold the home button until you see the plug into iTunes screen. Connect the iPod to iTunes and you should be good to go.

As with all clickwheel iPods, you can reset this iPod by first toggling the hold switch on and off and then simultaneously pressing the select (center) and menu buttons for approximately 5-10 seconds.
