I lost my Ipod touch yesterday. Can I disconnect my credit card information from my account and thereby eliminate that liability?

I lost my Ipod touch yesterday. Can I disconnect my credit card information from the account to avoid someone accessing my account and charging on it?

No, Apple cannot locate your iPod for you. If you didn't have Find My iPod set up before you lost the iPod, there's no way to trace it.
Regards.
