I lost my music is there a way I can get it back?
I had to get a new computer and I was going to transfer my purchases to my new computer. But when i tried to do that, it didnt allow me and instead it erased all my music and I can't get it back. Is there a way i can get the music back into my itunes library because it all still shows in my purchases list on my account. I called to ask and they told me to kinda come here and say what to do so can i get it back?
Zune is mostly a subscription service that comes with 10 downloads per month. If you don't back up those 10 downloads you can't redownload them....just like itunes, amazon, rhapsody, walmart, and so on.
+We are currently unable to replace MP3 songs that you delete or lose. For this reason we highly recommend that you back up your MP3s+ from this page
http://www.zune.net/en-us/support/usersguide/zunemarketplace/restoremedia.htm
When you stop paying the subscription fee, all you've got left is those 10 downloads...and only if you don't lose them. It's a different service than itunes, and people who don't want to be bothered making backups prefer it. People who want to own their tracks don't.

Lost entire music library and on my itunes. Is there any way I can get it back?
Our computer stopped working, so I downloaded th new version of itunes onto my laptop. When I plugged in my ipod, my entire library was there, however when I tried to sync it, I must have pressed some weird button because all of my music is now gone on both itunes and my ipod. Is there any way I can get it back? Please help, I've been collecting this music for years, and it was there one minute and gone the next. Pretty much all of it was downloaded from Cd's and stuff, i can't really afford the itunes store as I'm only a student. Thanks.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer or backup of the old computer to the new computer.
iDevices are not and have never been backup devices. -
After syncing my iphone to my itunes on my pc, all the music on my phone is gone. I don't have a backup. Is there any way I can get them back?
If you had no other backup....NOPE! However, if you purchased your songs from iTunes, check out: iTunes Store - Finding Lost Music FAQ

i connected my iphone 5 to my computer for the first time since i got it and it didnt give me any option and just started to restore it from my iphone 4s. ive now lost all my pictures that were on it. Is there a way i can get them back as i did not want it to restore my old phone anyway! i also had my hone set up to the cloud and it didnt work! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME
Can you try to use another computer?
If this does not work, visit an Apple Store or an Authorized Apple Service Provider next to your place, and show them the phone, maybe they can restore it before you'll have to get it serviced.
Did you try to put it in recovery mode?

i connected my iphone to the computer to charge it and itunes backed it up with an old version of my ipod so I lost all my photographs. Is there any way I can get them back?
Seems that you can no longer hide them on your phone. Try doing so in iTunes: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919.

Did she do a backup first? Did she have iCloud backup turned on?

Ok i needed to flush my computer because i had a virus and i had to delete all my music is there a way i can get the library from my ipod onto the new itunes i downloaded because i dont want to have to download all the songs again
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from your ipod. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases -
My computer had to be restored before i could back up my music, is there a way I can get it off my iPad and onto my iTunes on my computer?
Hello Creekside1,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!
You can trasnfer your purchases from the iPod to the computer with this article:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848
You can also download your iTunes purchases to your iTunes library with this article:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

i recently changed computers and lost all my playlists from my itunes on my computer, i have them still on my phone. Is there a way i can get them back without making them all again?!
If the books were purchased at the iBookStore, you will be able to redownload, like the apps. Some other sellers, like O'Reilly, also allow multiple downloads.
If you have (or can install) iTunes on a computer (Mac preferable, not mandatory) and run it then plug the device in, does it show up? If the computer can detect it, you can and should do a complete backup onto local storage immediately. That can then be used to reconstruct the content of the device on a new or repaired replacement. If you enable encryption, even the passwords will get saved. -

Is there any way I can get them back - any help greatly appreciated

where would the pictures be stored in the computer ? Where should I look for them?
They would be wherever you put them.
They would only be on your computer if you imported them. You would have selected a program and/or location and imported them as you would with any digital camera. -
i just synced to a new computer and accidently erased all my songs that were not purchased. Is there any way I can get them back?
If they are still in your iTunes library, the answer is "yes", you can resynch to get them back.
If they are not in your iTunes library, and no longer on the iPod, I do not believe they cannot be gotten back easily. You might be able to have someone see if they are still on the disk, but that can be $$$. This is why the ITunes library should be viewed as the primary repository of music, even if you need to purchase an external hard drive or two to have the music and a backup. -
I accidentally washed my 6th generation iPod nano. It will turn on still but now it has a computer screen setup on the screen, is there a way I can get it back to normal? I can plug it into my computer and it works and I've click the restore button that comes under the nano's summary when it's plugged in. Any type of help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Take your iPod Nano back to the Apple Store. Let them see what you are seeing. Only this time............
Prior to leaving the Apple Store: ***Make sure you have the store staff power the iPod Nano up and demonstrate that it is indeed working properly to your satisfaction.*** -
I synced my phone with my mac and agreed to delete pictures on my phone, is there a way i can get them back on my phone?

I was syncing everything to itunes and I tried to do my contacts, not knowing quite how. I ended up erasing all of them from my phone without any of them syncing to my computer or itunes. Is there any way I can get them back? I really need them all.
There are lots of ideas floating on the web for this particular issue - all of which I tried. I had the same problem and it turned out to be my USB cable. I thought the cable was fine as it would charge my phone and play but the data transfer pin was bent. I replaced the cable and it fixed the problem. Worth a shot as it is an easy fix!
