I have also lost my Music in my Library on my Ipod. All I was doing was playing the music, went to play an older song and everything was skipping through them. Next thing I know all of my music is gone. My account shows that I purchased them, but nothing is there. I am upset because I can't get an answer from no one and that I have to pay more just to get my music back. I already paid for the music I should not have to pay for them to download it back to my Ipod!!! Someone Please help us resolve this!!!

You should have transferred them to your computer regularly and included them in your backup copy of your computer.
You buy one and only one download. It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your music.
If for some reason you have failed to backup your music, then you can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception, but they are under no obligation to allow.

Have you tried the redeem option?

If you don't have a backup, then all your pics/text/notes are gone.
You can sync back music and app. If you were syncing your contacts with a program in itunes, then you'll get that back.
Not sure why you didn't do a backup, especially prior to doing an upgrade.

You can redownload you previously purchased apps for free as long as they are still available in the app store. Be sure you are logged into the Apple ID in iTunes used to purchase them, then follow this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519.

Without a backup on iCloud, there needs to be another device using the same @icloud address that is syncing to the notes. Without that, there is no way to go back in time to create a backup before performing a major update.

I believe now you potentially lose all extensions, plug-ins when you use the new reset function, but you will let me know.
If that is the case, your find corrupt file method maybe better. However, I reviewed the two help articles and there appear to be more files than just the delete search.json file and a possible search.sqlite file in the Firefox Profile Folder. I am confused. Then I have to find the folders. I think help articles mentioned how to find the profile containing the files, but not sure.

You restore from the backup that contained them.
Restoring from a backup is all or nothing. It completely overwrites the data in the phone when you restore. You can not combine the contents of a backup with what's currently on your phone.
