If this is a Name valid with the AIM servers the password has to be 16 characters or Less.
The Apple IDs from MobileMe and @Mac.com allow you to create (And prompt your for ) Longer passwords.
These Names are Valid with the AIM servers but they cannot process the password.
Use iforgot to Change the password to something shorter.

If you are using a Google ID then you have to enter your Google ID as it appears when you log in to the Google Web Mail Page.
The Mail App seems to allow the Endings (@gmail.com and @googlemail.com) to be used almost interchangeably where as the Jabber Server Google run for Google Talk is stricter (so iChat needs to be precise).
Also the chat option needs to appear in the Web Mail page.
If it does not it needs Enabling on you Google Account settings page.

2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup

ThanksStay away from entity beans in particular and EJBs in general. You can do this without that complication.
Write your user interface pages as JSPs.
Unless you know Hibernate already, I'd recommend writing straight JDBC code to access the database. Put this in POJOs (Plain Old Java Objects) that you can test off-line.
Write one servlet that all the JSPs talk to. Have it figure out which page made the request, perform the appropriate action, and forward back the response JSP.
I'd strongly recommend that you learn JSTL and keep all scriptlet code and business logic out of your JSPs. Get a copy of Hans Bergsten's JSP book by O'Reilly.
Good luck. Tough problem to start with.

If you forgot the passcode for yur encrypted backup you are out of luch. You will have to restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod if you want to restore from backup in the future.
Warning: If you encrypt an iPhone backup in iTunes and then forget your password, you will not be able to restore from backup and your data will be unrecoverable. If you forget the password, you can continue to back up and use the device, however you will not be able to restore the encrypted backup to any device without the password. You do not need to enter the password for your backup each time you back up or sync.
If you cannot remember the password and want to start again, you must perform a full software restore and when iTunes prompts you to select the backup from which to restore, choose set up as a new device.
