No, all content that you download from the store is tied to the account that downloaded it, it can't be transferred to another account

  • How can I add music to my iPhone 3 from a new iTunes?  My old laptop crashed and I don't want to lose my music by syncing my iPhone with the new iTunes

I have an iPhone 3, and it was synced to iTunes on my old laptop.  My laptop recently crashed, and now I have a new laptop.  I just dowloaded iTunes and imported a few CDs that I want to add to my iPhone. Unfortunately, I can't add them to my iPhone without syncing it and therefore losing my music on my iPhone, most of which was not purchased through iTunes so I can't restore it that way.  I was going to update to ios5 so I could use the cloud to save my music, but I will lose all my non-purchased music if I update.  Help!!!!

Really?  Why would you do that?
You can transfer itunes purchases from your iphone to your comptuer.  Without syncing:  File>Transfer Purchases
You should import any pics taken with iphoen to the new computer, as you would with any other digital camera.
You can e-mail the pics that you synced to the iphone to yourself.  They will not be of the original quality.
If you enter one unique contact and calendar entry on the new comptuer, then when you sync, you should get the option ot merge the data.
    No backup is not good.

Recently my hard drive crashed. I had to get a new computer. I lost songs on my itouch. Will I lose the pictures on my iphone?

Ihas always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your comptuer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.

  • Is here a way to sync iPod/iPhone with the new Windows Live Mail?

    hi everyone,
since i bought my ipod touch 2nd i recorded down my itinery into the iPod,
and about syncing, although troubled by the 0xE800002E error when syncing apps,
i still enjoyed a brilliant mailing function and could sync with the Windows Mail which i was using for a while
but after changing to use the new Windows Live Mail, attracted by the easy calendar function built-in, i found that the iTunes cannot recognise Live Mail, and of course not to syncronise it
this is much a trouble to me right now, and i hope someone can read my poor english
Please give me some advice, really thanks
ps,i have outlook but i dont really tend to use it

You can sync contacts, calendar events, notes, and tasks with a compatible version of Outlook.
You can sync Tasks to Reminders, but with the caveat that it is only possible via an Exchange server or iCloud.
Contacts, calendar events, and notes can be synced via USB/iTunes (in addition to iCloud or Exchange).

  • I can't sync my iphone with my new itunes with out losing any of my apps. How do I sync this?

I am lost. I tried to sync my Iphone with my new itunes on my new computer and it says are you sure you want to synce apps? All existing apps and there data on the iphone will be replaced with apps from this itunes library. HELP!!!!!

You need to Copy iTunes from Your Old Computer to your New Computer...
    See Here
iTunes: How to move your music to a new computer
    Or...
From your Old Computer... Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..
An Added Bonus is that you will then have a Backup of iTunes...

Restore your media from the backup that you keep of your important files and data from your computer.
If you sync your iPhone to your new computer, it will wipe the media on your iPhone.

  • How to sync an iPhone with iTunes 12?

How to sync an iPhone with iTunes 12?
i downloaded today iTunes 12 and i wanted now to sync my iPhone with it... but i'm lost. i cannot find my iPhone on iTunes 12. How to sync it?

OK.  So when you plug it in, what happens?
When I plug in my iPhone, along the top row of icons, a new one appears in the shape of a phone. If I click on that, I get a sidebar with info on my phone and to the right is information similar to what I'd see in previous versions of iTunes. I have it set up to sync when connected, so the sync starts immediately.
    (Edit...)
Here's the icon that I get when I plug the phone in:

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Use your backup copy to move everything to the new computer.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from the iphone:  File>Transfer Purchases
If you enter one unique contact and calendar entry on your computer, then when you first sync you should get the option to merge the data.

  • How do you sync an iPhone with a new computer?

I know this question has been posted on this forum countless times, but none of the responses seemed to help me. I need a simple and clear answer on how to sync my iPhone to a new computer. I used to sync my iPhone with a Mac, but I got a new laptop running Windows 8 and I want to sync my iPhone with this new laptop. All the responses on this site tell me to download some sort of software to extract the data from my iPhone, but none of them seem to be free. My old Mac is still intact, so I can still use it if I need to. All of this is really confusing. Sorry if I'm being really ignorant about all of this, I just really need some help.

    Welcome to the discussions,
a manual backup should help to transfer your data and apps.
Disable autosync in itunes, connect your phone, right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your phone without syncing and save data, pictures taken with the phone and settings to the new itunes library.
See what's included in this backup here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
After that, transfer your purchases the same way by choosing "transfer purchases", to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your phone got wiped during the first sync.
The rest of the data can be restored again from the manual backup you made before.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.
There is 3rd party software out there, but not supported by Apple, see this thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2013615&tstart=0

    Yes, windows to Mac too.
iTunes: How to move [or copy] your music [library] to a new computer [or another drive] - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527
Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings:  Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive.  Open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option (alt) key (shift on Windows), then guide it to the new location of the library.

You might consider itunes match for moving CDs you've copied into your itunes library if you dont have a way to use home sharing.
iTunes match is an optional service offered by apple that costs about $25 a year.  It scans your music library and if it finds music that is already in apple's itunes catalog it'll automatically "unlock"/"store" these in the cloud for you.  Items that it does not find in the catalog it'll upload and store these in the cloud for you and you can download them on your devices.  See http://www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match/

  • How to sync two IPhone with one PC , but with different applications

How to sync two IPhone with one PC , but with different applications ?
We have two IPhones , but one PC , we want to sync separately , is that possible ?

Absolutely, connect each phone, select what content you want on each phone, then hit the sync button. iTunes will keep everything straight, by device, upon subsequent syncs, including separate backups.
