If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for the original owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. How can I reinstall a corrupted Safari application?

Since the initial installation of OS X 10. Mountain Lion, I receive a popup that "Safari 6.0 has not been tested with the plugin LastPass 1.74.0 (v174.0). As a precaution, it has not been loaded. Please contqact the plugin developer for information."
I have attempted to contact LastPass MANY times without any response. LastPass was taken off the computer over a year ago without any problems until the installation of OS X 10 LION.
Can you help with this continous irritation when opening Safari?

I finally answered the question ABOVE … How Can I reinstall a Corrupted Safari Appilication?
I once again went to LASTPASS website and they have posted a "FIX" for the problem.
GoTo: file://localhost/Users/royce/Desktop/https-::rodan.lastpass.com:lpsafari.dmg.we bloc
Download and run the UNInstall program you will find there.
I hope this helps others experiencing the same problem.

You can find the backup files and then copy them to a safe place if you are worrying about this.
iTunes places the backup files in these places:

Thanks for replying. I am converting from MS Office Word document to Adobe Acrobat Document and opening with Reader XI - sorry my mistake.
I now notice another problem. On trying to open a specific hyperlink in the pdf version I get the message 'Acrobat does not allow connection to: www.biblegateway.com'. Why would there be a restriction?

you can download the mac os x recovery hd and run the setup to a flash drive using another mac computer running os x 10.7,(so that while installation the os x setup can varify your computer's serial no. and provide you the installation setup through internet)
or the time machine backup(if you have)
Now boot through the flash drive and follow the steps to install mac os x
