Lost Fireworks cs3 due to computer crash
I have the serial number for Fireworks cs3. I lost my software when my computer crashed. Is there a way to download this software to a new computer without having to pay for it again?
Thanks, MikeOK I did some reading and found out maybe the .exe extention got dropped off when downloading. I clicked on properties for the file and found out it still had the .exe. I noticed that the a block and unblock key. I unblocked the fill and it downloaded the fireworks cs3 and everything worked ok. At the end it said to restart my pc. When it restarted the screen was black but I could see the mouse pointer. The screen is ok because when I shut the pc down manually my wall paper and desk top icons appeared for a second before shuting down.
Do you think I got a virus from that download?

you should have downloaded an .exe file. did you?

How many times can I download LR due to computer problems
I have LR 5 and Elements 10. I think both are a 2 time download. My hard drive on my PC just crashed and had to replace it. Now my computer over heated itself and I will have to by a whole new tower. My question, will I have to go buy these programs ALL over again or is there some way around it where I won't have to re purchase both again?
You can download Lightroom an infinite number of times.
You can use your serial number to register Lightroom on two machines, as long as you are not using Lightroom simultaneously on both computers, and both computers are used for your own personal use. If a computer/hard disk crashes and can't be used, that doesn't count as one of your two installations.
So really, nothing is stopping you from using Lightroom and you don't have to purchase it again. -
Since uninstalling / reinstalling iTunes I am not able to sync iPhotos with my Apple TV with the following warning message stating that this is due to a 'problem on your computer. The disk could not be read from or written to'. Please help!

I opened Chrome up on the Parallels side and cut and paste "chrome://flags" into the browser window but I was unable to find the "GPU" line.
So this fix did not help.
Any other ideas?

Why does my computer say 'your computer restarted due to a problem' and continuously loop?
I am trying to upgrade from Lion to Mountain Lion on my iMac. It says that the installation is successful, but then shows 'Your computer restarted due to a problem' and continuously tries to restart.
I tried to set up Apple support with the 90-day complimentary support, but because the iMac itself is older it won't allow me to contact them.
Any help with fixing the problem or how to get in touch with Apple's support is appreciated.You maybe having kernal panic problems.

My iphone 4s is no longer syncing with my computer. Why? My software on the computer IS the latest version. Iphone 4 cannot be updated due to lack of storage
What happens when you try to sync? Do you see any error messages? Which software on the computer are you referring to, iTunes? The latest iTunes is 11.1.3. If you cannot update the phone due to lack of storage, you will need to delete some content from the phone.

I have an attachment to my iPod Classic that allows me to record. Just got my iPod...I continue to get the following error message when trying to download iTunes and iPod software to my computer: "Error 1406, Could not write value InstallDir to key \Software\Apple Computer, Inc.\iPod\AppPaths. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key"

Starting on 2/19/2013 each time my antivirus software scans my computer (Daily), various Firefox browser preferences are being reset. (It appears Firefox may be being reset to default.) My home page is being reset to mozilla etc...
I have reset Firefox, un-installed and re-installed Firefox to no avail.
Each time the computer is scanned my browser preferences are lost.

Firefox v19.I've got the exact same problem. Even got the same error message as esmer when viewing the prefs script. Seems to happen every morning after AVG runs my daily scan. I hate having to redo everything each morning (been happening for a couple of days now). I'd hate to have to stop using either programs.

Shutdown due to a problem on every reboot
Hi,
I'm on OSX 10.10 on a 13" MacBook Pro retina and since some days I get a note on every bootup claiming the computer shutdown due to a problem and if I want to open windows. But I just shutdown the computer by "Menu -> Shutdown".
Why is this happening?
Is this some hint to a hardware failure?
How can I get rid of this state?

I found more information thanks to the #apple on freenode.
Also I rebooted into recovery and verified + repaired the disk. This didn't return any errors.
Afterwards I reset the pram but this didn't help either.

Pressing num-lock keys causes applications to crash
