If I understand you right, try this,
Go to Mail > Mail top menu > View > Customise toolbar > then drag the address book icon back into the top bar.

Restoring from a backup is all or nothing. It completely overwrites the data in the phone when you restore. You can not combine the contents of a backup with what's currently on your phone. -

All my bookmarks have suddenly disappeared. How do I get them back? I didn't do anything to erase them.
I've tried importing and restoring from bookmarks.html. The closest I get is having the XBOX folder in the dropdown, then the list of saved XBOX b-marks with nothing in them to actually go to.
I looked at the places.sqlite file the other day and it said 0kb, now it has @11,000. Must be from recent activity.
Anyway someone can control my pc and try to resolve this? If not, I guess these bookmarks weren't that important so oh well.

How is this possible? How can the iTunes eat what I bought and what for? To buy the applications again?! Geez!
Tell me the solution. It must exist one!You can redownload you previously purchased apps for free as long as they are still available in the app store. Be sure you are logged into the Apple ID in iTunes used to purchase them, then follow this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519.

I just dowloaded Maverick and lost the Apps I purchased: Notes and Bejeweled 3. How do I get them back without paying for them again?
Thanks so much for being out there for me - someone I can talk to. I went to purchases and unfortunately it is no longer there. I dowloaded the Notes App again for free. I will just buy Bejeweled again. I guess the price of downloading maverick was losing my beloved video game. Sorry, but movies cannot be downloaded more than once without charge, so if you don't have a viable backup, you may be out of luck. You can, however, contact the iTunes Store, explain the situation, and see if they can make an exception for you.

If you use the same profile folder with different Firefox versions then you should create a new profile exclusively for the 4.0 beta version and create a desktop shortcut with -P "profile" appended to the target to launch that profile.

After an update of Firefox, I lost all my tabs (not bookmarks). I searched all the help info and found nothing that said how to replace tabs only bookmarks. Please help, this is most frustrating!
If those tabs aren't in History > Recently Closed Tabs or Windows then they are probably lost.
You can try to search them in the History if you haven't bookmarked them.
Using the "Show my windows and tabs from last time" setting is a more reliable way to restore session data.
