Its a preinstalled app and therefore cannot be deleted so you may have inadvertently moved it onto a screen or into a folder. Check all screens and folders and do a search in Spotlight, it will tell you in the app it still on your iPhone but unfortunately not where it is. If you find it on one or your screens or in a folder, press until the icon wiggles and then drag it back to where you want it. Alternatively you can reset your home screen in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

I lost power to my MacBook Pro before I had saved anything that I was working on...usually I plug my computer it and power it back on and the documents pop right back up when the computer turns on. That did not happen this time. How can I recover my documents?

They are synced through iCloud. How can I view if they appear in iCloud? Because they don't appear in my notes, and I have not checked my Mac to see.

Lost calendar data...how do I recover??
I went to my calendar this morning and noticed there was not appointments/birthdays/nothing. How can I recover???
If you have been syncing and backing up with iTunes you could try restoring to your latest backup (calendar events are contained in the backup). This will only work if your calendar was on your phone when you last synced and if you haven't synced again since your calender was deleted. Also, restoring from backup reverts all settings and data to those contained in the backup, not just calendar events. If you want to do this:
Without connecting your phone, open iTunes on your computer, go to Preferences, on the Devices tab check "Prevent...from syncing automatically".
Connect your phone to your computer, right-click on the name of your phone when it appears in iTunes on the left sidebar, choose Restore from Backup, choose your latest backup to restore from.
When restoring completes, go back to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and re-enable automatic syncing. -

Hi roamingnome - thanks for your reply. The content is still all on the iPod and I can find it in an old iTunes library but it won't sync to this account. All purchased on the same account but only 17 of 288 songs will sync?
I can reload the old library, but this will only show in itunes when my husband books into his account and then still don't sync to his iphone. It seems that itunes is a bit like me - confused, so any advice gratefully received!
He has set up home sharing - could this be affecting it, he hasn't a clue either.

My Yahoo Mail screen has lost the message pane. How can I recover?
How do I recover my Yahoo Mail screen with all of the panes showing? I can only see the left pane which has the folders and applications. The message pane is off the screen. The option and help drop downs are also off the screen. Normally, these panes can be adjusted but now there is no adjustment capability.
Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.

I lost notes from my iPhone5S and I didn't even delete them! Please help!
Guys I really need help. I'm desperate... I love to write poetry, and i store it all in my iPhone5S Notes... Well I had one cooking in my head and I was gonna add it to a Note that had at least 20 that I have written, in 3 days! I accidentally hit New and clicked back and the next thing I know, THE ONE I WANTED TO OPEN IS GONE! It just dissappeared. Then it suddenly gave me the option on the top left to click on Accounts and I never had that set up! On topm of that, a random Note, that is NOT mine is now in my Notes.. What happened?! Please someone help, I love to write poetry and now so many are gone. I haven't backed it up in a while, I tried some program that allows you to recover lost or deleted material, and it showed it was deleted so I paid $70 on something that didn't even give me all of my notes content!! :,( Please, Please, someone explained how everything just randomly screwed up and how I got some random note pop up in my Notes.

My phone reset by itself. I set up the phone and signed in with my AppleID. Everything was lost and did not populate back into the phone. i had to restore contacts and music.
i had notes that were erased and i can not recover them. . . is there a way to recover your notes or to restore back to a previous dates settings?
thanks,I thought I'd lost my notes, too. I also have an iPad mini, and noticed the notes app icon and clicked on it. What was more obvious on the iPad was that there are different accounts; in other words, it had different sets of notes saved under different email accounts.My missing notes were saved under my icloud account, although I didn't consciously ever put the notes under any separate account. They were visible when I clicked "All Notes," too. It turns out that the phone had a different account set as the default. I changed the default on the iPhone, and there they were. I took screen shots so the notes are saved in my photos, too. This was a lot easier than checking through a lot of backups. I hope that helps. I will post this on a couple of threads I see in Apple communities. I see it's a pretty common problem.
