- Try using the Search function to find it
- Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Screen Layout
- Is it hidden by Restrictions>Settings>General>Restrictions?
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device again
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Not sure what happened but after I downloaded iOS 6 to my iPod touch 4th gen i was unable to use the app store and go on certain websites like yahoo.com, cracked.com and other websites I ussually visit. On top of that the yahoo weather app does not update and always says it fails. I just restored my ipos and nothing changed. Does anyone have an idea of whats going on here?

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

My ipod will not let me use all but like 3 apps fully without closing me out of the app and i can only use safari or the app store for about 10 seconds without it shutting down the app. This has been happening for about 6 months after the upgrade to ios 4. Please help, should i take my ipod to an apple store?? It is a ipod 2nd generation itouch with ios 4.
We won't know until you try the procedure. The reset will not affect the content of the iPod.

I live in Mexico, but am an American. I have set all my languages to English, but since I returned from Christmas to Mexico, all my items in the appstore both on itunes and on my itouch are in Spanish. The rest of the apps are in English. Help!

Found the problem. I couldn't find the parental controles so I thought it was some other problem. Thenks everyoneYou probably have restrictions set.

The App store is a iOS function and cannot be deleted. Try checking other home screens/folders and see if you can locate it. If not, go into Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.
