I lost the original nokia photo and video editor, ...

I reseted my phone due to a software issue and that caused all my inbuilt softwares to be removed. I desperately want the photo editor. Is there anyway I can reinstall it??

Reinstall using the Nokia Suite..
..and it will be different from Flashing thats done by Nokia Care Centres ...

So I updated to OS 5 last night an low and behold I lost all of my photos and videos? how do I get them back, I did do my download on my mac book pro. I would have thought that all of that stuff would have transferred automatic during the download of 5, but I guess that would make too much sense? So how do I get that stuff back?

I did the same thing last night also with my MacBook Pro. None of my music, video or photos not taken originally on my iphone were reloaded back onto my phone. I received an error message instead. I had to just re-drag the music and videos that I wanted back to my iphone. As far as my photos taken on my iphone...by chance, I had just backed those up earlier that day. I'm not sure where the photos are that I had put on my iphone in the beginning...they still show up in people's contacts, but they no longer show up under photos - ? This is very frustrating!

yes a backup is saving everything. backup will save everything on the phone at the moment of the backup.
that is if you want all your pics and anything else you have on it. if you don't want or need anything on it then you can restore it to factory and that will remove everything of yours off of it and make it a factory phone. default setup phone. Then if you want the info back if you did a backup which is explained by Raxmee209. then you can restore it to exactly how you had it the time you did the backup.

After pushing the 'back up now' button on my itouch, i seem to have lost 50% of my photos and videos. Where have they gone and how do I access them again?

I've been using my itouch for ages now and signed up to icloud about 2 months ago (UK based).
It's got photo stream enabled, so presumable has been backing up automatically. Yesterday for some reason I went into the storage and backup function in the settings menu of icloud, and clicked on back up now. Since then, I can't view about 50% of my photos and videos and I don't know where to find them.
Can anyone guide me in how to find these photos again?

Photo and video editor on nokia n8 belle

Hi, my phone crashed, with a stupid demo game, and I had to use the 3 buttons reset.
Now, I do not have access to nokia video and photo editor. How can I reinstall this?

You could try reinstalling the Firmware using Nokia Suite. If that doesn't do the trick then you will have to go to a Nokia Care point to get those applications re-installed.

I realise it's too late now but did you try holding the power button down for eight seconds until three vibrations are felt when your phone crashed? This would have re-booted the phone without losing any of your applications/data and is the equivalent of pulling the battery out. The three fingered suicide is meant to be used to try and switch on an otherwise dead phone and shouldn't be used for any other purpose.

Recover lost photos and videos after 7.1.1 upgrade fail

Hi,
I updated my Ipad mini this morning to 7.1.1, and after it failed to update, I tried to install again, after which it went into recovery mode. It looks like the last successful cloud backup was 6 months ago, so I have lost 6 months of photos and videos of my young baby.
Photo stream was turned on, so my question is - can I recover the lost photos/videos from photostream somehow?
Some feedback for Apple: fix your upgrade process, and if there is even an outside possibility that it will remove all my photos and videos as part of the update, make doing a full backup before the update mandatory.

Thanks for this! I've found and saved the file as you explained, and I've downloaded the software, however I can't see how I upload teh file into touchcopy - can you help? I've tried right clicking on the file, open with and choose touchcopy, but it just keeps looking for my iphone. Thanks!

Backup Problems - Lost photos and videos

I have just taken delivery of the 4G and it doesn't seem to have picked up on the "Camera Roll" photos and videos that I had with the 3GS. I made sure to back up the old phone before retoring it to factory settings (I have sold it).
When I tested it to make sure that all my info was off the old phone iTunes was still showing it as my account. So, probably stupidly, I logged out of my account, renamed the phone and restored it again. This didn't help but I think it may have "lost" the photos and videos that I had previously.
I have looked on the laptop for the files to try and restore them manually but without luck. Can you tell me where they may be and how I might recover them?

The camera roll (photos taken by the iphone or ipod screen snaps) are not backed up with a sync. They must be extracted from the iphone3G prior to restoring it using iphoto(mac) or a digital camera wizard(windows).

How do I get a copy of the iOS background photo since I lost the original?

Photos and videos in Trash

Today while making a slideshow in iMovie, I removed some photos from the slideshow and sent them to the trash. For some reason, a bunch of other photos and videos also went to the trash. Photos and videos randomly and are not connected to today's project. I see them still in iMovie so if I empty the trash, will they all disappear from iMovie? Will they disappear from my Mac completely?

How did you export them out of iPhoto? Did you use the option Kind = Original?
What system and iPhoto versions are you running? Where is your library located?

have you tried reinstallnig the current firmware thru Nokia Suite on PC? also check that those editors haven't moved into the Gallery section of your device.

So that's it then. I ran out to an AT&T store, dropped $550 to do an early upgrade to the 3Gs and re-up my contract for another two years just so I could get the option to send photos via text message/mms and I can't do it because AT&T has a size restriction of 300kb? I spent two days trying to figure out why my text messages wouldn't complete sending. Hardly any of the photos in my photo album are that small. What a total frigging waste of my time and money, yet again.
This whole MMS "improvement" was not thought through thoroughly by Apple and AT&T at all.

URGENTLY need to get back photos and videos my daughter deleted...

On the weekend my two year old has somehow deleted or reset my husband’s mobile which has wiped everything from the phone. My biggest concern is the 2,500+ photos and videos of our families memories. Unfortunately he had not linked it to itunes or download the files or linked to iclouds. Is there anyway PLEASE of getting these photos and videos back??!! Do you know of a program we can use? Im desperate to get these back as these are the only pics of my daughter from the last 2yrs.

They're gone. You're not going to get them back.
There are several lessons here.
Back up. Often. Apple has made backing up the iPhone brain dead simple. It will either back up to your computer every time you plug it in to sync with iTunes, or it can back up to iCloud on a daily basis with no user interaction at all so long as it's connected to WiFi and a power source.
Electronic devices fail. It's not a matter of if it will happen, it's only a matter of when.
Now go out and buy an external drive to backup your computer before some silly mishap ends up wiping your tax returns and other irreplacable documents.
Another lesson to take from this is that if you're going to let a 2 year old play with a $600 piece of electronic equipment, you might want to supervise things a little bit more closely... iOS has features built in to make sure that a chile (or an adult for that matter) can't get out of whatever app you want them to use and bork up the entire phone. Read the manual and look at the section on using "guided access".
Be thankful that you didn't learn another important lesson from this, which is "iPhones are made of glass, which is fragile". Giving something made of glass (or largely of glass) to a 2 year old to play with is downright stupid. What if she'd broken the glass and cut herself? It wouldn't be just memories you could potentially be missing then.

HT4623 I lost my apps and iTunes after a restore, but it says there isn't enough space on the iPhone 4. How do I know how much space needs to be freed up? I keep deleting photos and videos, but I'm still getting the same message.

I did an iphone 4 software update. It then asked me to do a "restore" in order for me to be able to use the latest iTunes. I did a "restore" to "factory settings" (this was the only option listed) thinking I'd be able to sync later and get everything back and ended up losing all my purchased apps and iTunes. When I open iTunes, "Welcome to your new iphone" and it says I can re-do the "restore" and choose my lastest update. I assume this will give me back my apps and iTunes. When i choose to do this, it says there isn't enough space on the iPhone. How do I know how much space needs to be freed up? Thanks but I think it has something to do with the 'restore'. in the newest iTunes 11, when I click on the tab "iphone", it redirects me to the "welcome to your new iphone" page and asks about doing a 'restore'. I already did a 'restore', but it went to the original factory settings and I want to 'restore' to my lastest back up as of April 12. When I choose that option, it says my iphone doesn't have enough space. I don't know how much I need to delete in order to make it work. I've deleted lots, but it only has 4.1 GB available. I'm not sure why this isn't enough to do a 'restore'. I don't want to delete all my photos and videos, but maybe I will have to?...7.7GB is used up for that. I can't sync or do ANYTHING...
