I took this as an Apple store. I like it because you can see the whole front of the Store and you can kinda see what's going on inside, like a peek inside the Store life ( ).

Everytime I send a message from my yahoo account (which is also my appleID account) a small icon picture (which is a pic of my ex-boyfriend) is attached to the e-mail heading. I'm able to notice I want to remove this from happening. The picture is displayed on my iphone when I open up the mail.
Steps I take:
1. I write an e-mail message from my yahoo account to my other .edu account on a desktop computer.
2. I send the e-mail message from my yahoo account to my other .edu account on a desktop computer.
3. When I open up my .edu account on my iPHONE, there is a new message from my yahoo account.
4. Upon opening the e-mail message on my iPHONE, in the title heading it has the title of the email along with a small (upper right) picture on the iPHONE.
Another thing that I tested was the same thing on my iPAD for text messages:
1. I set up my text messages to my yahoo account (which is also my apple ID account)
2. I send a text message to a person and the same small icon picture is shown on the ipad with each message that is sent
3. The person receiving the text message does not get the small icon picture; however, on the ipad it shows this picture (WHICH NEEDS TO BE REMOVED)
I need to determine how this icon picture is associated with both my yahoo and apple ID account. The funny thing is that I don't have this picture on any of my devices (mac, iphone, ipad). It has been completely removed from all of my technology sources. I'm thinking it has to be something to do with the origniation of my apple ID.
PLEASE HELP ME....this picture is hurting my professionalism when I send outgoing messages.

In updating my iPod to 6.1.2, I received an error during the update. Now, my ipod is not rebooting. It continues to display a screen showing usb to Itunes picture. Turning off and back on, it goes back to this picture. I don't know how to reset so that I can restore from my backup.
A similar thing happened when I updated the ios on my ipad. But, I was able to reboot, and then restore from backup. How can I get my ipod to reboot and allow restore when it is not even recognized as I reconnect to my computer?Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer

CSS is interpreted by your browser, so server cache seems unlikely in htis case. There is however some hierarchy in CSS, so parts of the APEX CSS, theme CSS or page CSS might overwright or block yours.
Does changing the CSS on runtime affect your page? Eg, run the following in your browser console and see if your page turns black: $('#uBodyContainer').css("background-color","black")
Also try moving up your css in the hierarchy labeling it as important:
div#uBodyContainer {
background-color:#000000 !important;

We upgraded our iMacs to Yosemite and lost functionality on Illustrator CS4. We can save a picture to the desktop and then drag or 'place' the image to the Illustrator document, but if we drag directly from the browser or cut/copy/paste, we get a placeholder stating 'QuickTime and a decompressor are needed to see this picture'. .png, .psd, and .tiff files give a missing plugin error.
Illustrator CS4 and Yosemite aren't fully compatible. Some folks might have succeeded in getting it to run, but most have not.

Juan DentAs is always the case in PS, there are a number of ways to accomplish the same task. Some work better than others, depending on the nature of the task. Here are two others:
• using the healing brush (not the spot healing brush), sample an area of good skin and brush over the offending area once. Then use fade filter and lower the opacity until the blend looks natural. The skill of this technique depends on the area you sample from and how large a brush / area you brush over. You only want to brush once, so you can use the fade filter command. An alternative, depending the version of PS, is to apply your healing on a separate layer and then lower the opacity of that layer. This is the same as using the fade filter command, but allows you to use multiple brush strokes.
• on a blank layer, using a small soft edge brush, low opacity - 10% is good, sample the desired good skin color near by the area you want to change. You may need to sample different areas as you retouch to get a good blend - transition. Then paint over the offending area, gradually building up the retouch until the blend is good.
In all cases a tablet is the best way to administer retouching.

I am a software engineer with mosly C background and a lot of experience in real-time software development. I wanted to learn Object Oriented programming and started learning java, mostly because of free tools and good tutorials on this site.
I love this Object Oriented programming. The Swing was a little harder to learn, but the code generation in the SUN ONE IDE helped me a lot to understand how it works. The java tutorial is wonderful.
I have two problems with the language;
One these MouseListeners and Actionlisteners are hard to work with. If you set a handler for each button etc, it is easy. But with 100 buttons on a JFrame, the code becomes stupid. I used getSource() to get the Object, but the compiler doesnt know the type of the Object, so it wont let me use any methods. So I got to test for equality with each button, to find out which button clicked, so I can call the proper Class methods. This is not a good language feature, at least I could not figure a way to do it. The language should have a kid of a switch statement based on the class of the Object, whchich allows you to select the right handler from a set of classes. I am sure the run time can figure out what the Class of the Object is. It is just that the compiler would let you invoke the right methods.

Using listeners are a pattern based on the Observer - Observable pattern. Patterns are the next step after OO. I suggest you read up on them. In particular, I would read the MVC pattern. This will give you an idea of how to eliminate this bad practice.

that is?You can use local varaibles in anonymous inner classes but only if they are final. The rational is, I suppose, to avoid unexpected behavior if the local varaible changes during the lifetime of the anonymous class instance. I don't know what the official reason is. I don't think that it isn't theoretically possible to do it, though there maybe an issue with the VM that makes this neccesary. -

It looks like the app is not currently in the App Store, I can't find it in the UK nor US stores.

I've got this picture of the Lone Pine in Monterey that's a nice wide shot of the tree and the cliff it's on... what's killing the picture I think is the brightness of the sun in the upper right and the relative darkness in the lower left... I'd like to even it all out but am not quite sure how to do that... basically, I'd like to brighten the reinforcements to bring out the stones without losing the detail on the water...
Can I do that?There's GIMP for MacOSX an open source application which is similar to Photoshop. You need to install Apple's X11 software to run it. It's free at Apple's site. If you have adequate space on your HD it might be something to give a try.
You can go to VersionTracker.com and do a search for "image editor" to see what's available as freeware, shareware and commercial. IMO, the most bang for the buck is with Photoshop Elements for Mac. It has about 80% of Photoshop's capabilities at 1/7 the cost. It can do some advanced editing.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. My ipod sank in water by accident for 1 hour, after lay drying for 1 month, I connect it with my Mac, it show a dark apple and began to charge, after few hrs, it showed fully charge, but after I pressed, it became a dark screen, but it shows a dark apple everytime I connect the Mac, what can I do? I will try my best to save it, I love this ipod very much as it's a present from my dear.
After drying for a month and it's still not working, it's almost certainly suffered hardware damage and will need to be replaced. You can learn what Apple will charge to replace it here:

I have a Galaxy S3 and love this phone but here at my new home which has absolutely no trees of bushes blocking anything, my phone calls are dropped ALL THE TIME and it's driving me crazy. Verizon finally said that they would come out and boost the signal but haven't seen anyone in two weeks. I have called Verizon tech help for one year to get help with this, either trade phone or something. I am so frustrated! I picked Verizon for the clear calls and coverage inside hospitals and buildings but it's been terrible. I have had three of these phones replaced. I need a different model like the S4 or the S5 I think cause it's something in this model.
Verizon is quickly becoming the worst cell phone company out there. To read all of these pleas from your loyal customers is just so sad and pitiful. You need to be sued for your data overage charges that you are intentionally imploding on your customers. They have pleaded, very intelligently, with you to do something to fix the issue and you willingly have NOT. As is with my reception issue that I was promised a signal booster for two months ago, so is this issue with the data. You don't follow up and solve the issues. Therefore the courts will find you fraudulent. When I was promised by your super tech that I needed a signal booster and he was sending it out overnight at no charge to me, I was relieved that it would finally be taken care of so I wouldn't lose faith with Verizon. Well, that was two months ago now with no record of it ever being ordered or on my file anywhere. I have since called three more times with hours of conversations about that issue and two more techs have told me they were sending me a signal booster with no follow up what so ever. WOW! That's pitiful! You may not care now, oh but you will later when you lose lots of money and business.

Someone else may have a workaround, but, as far as I know, if you cannot interact with the screen on the iPhone, there is no way to unlock it so you can get to your contacts.
Were you saving them to iCloud by chance? If so, you can restore them to your new phone.

It looks like this forum is specific to cisco routers and I should be posting to another forum site. Like said, I love this forum. Question - I have a dell latitude D800. I was in the process of updating hardware/software from Dells website. After finishing, i closed the conection and turned the computer off. I see this message that 42 updates were being installed but I never clicked the update tab. It just did it by itself. Is there anyway of finding out exactly what the updates were for? Should I do a system restore from a day or two ago - would that get rid of any updates that got installed today? I only use the dell website to perform any needed updates. Thanks!
