I´m a frequent user of personalized tags on my contacts. When I update to iOS7.0.2, my tags don't appear on alphabetical order as they were on the other system. I already made a restoration of the system and it didn't work. Is there any way to fix them?

I changed my passcode, and then forgot it. Is there any way to fix this without restoring it?
Your options are to remember the passcode or restore it
On the plus side if you used iCloud or synced with iTunes theres a good chance you will get most of your data back after restoring -
I just lost all the notes I'd kept on the notepad of my iPod Touch. Any help would be appreciated!!

Today I completed a software update for my iPhone 5 without backing it up because I did not receive a warning that all my data would be erased and so, did not realize it would be an issue. Upon completing the update, I realized my mistake but figured it was too late to revert the damage and continued with the restoration of my phone to its factory settings.
After completing the update, I realized just how much data was lost (including important notes with financial information and images and videos of recent trips around Europe). Now I am desperate to try to recover the data deleted in the update. Is there any chance at all that I can recover something? The notes and videos are most important to me. I am also missing many Messages but that is less important to me.
Can anyone please help?
Any response is greatly appreciated!
Here's the official article from Apple on how to update your iOS.
Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
Before you update
Back up your device to iCloud or iTunes.
That's virtually the very first thing it says to do.
There's no excuse to not have your data backed up prior to updating. Tell me, what would you have done if, instead of this being an issue where you updated your iOS and had an error, if instead you had dropped your iPhone and it was damaged beyond repair, or if it was stolen or lost, etcetera.
Perhaps you'd been backing up to iCloud and didn't realize it? Maybe the missing Notes data is linked to a Mail account? You might be able to reconstruct the data, but it's going to be an uphill battle.
Best of luck. Make sure to backup more frequently in the future. There are two types of people in the world; those who have lost data, and those that will lose data. The only difference is how prepared you are for that event. -
i updated my mac mini and now it doesnt work it goes to load the os x but fails and just turns it self off!
were do i find that as i have no back ups on other devices!?

What details do you want?
you can't, the only way to get rid of the code is to restore the device as new.
make sure you transfer your photos to a computer before doing so, using: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4083
After that: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1414
If you get specific error messages/codes in iTunes when updating/restoring, check this: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3694 for causes and solutions
If you're not able to restore the device, this one might help: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
Using that last article will erase everything on the device
Good luck -
This is just a general question, because I've had my 2nd gen ipod for way longer and i have no problems with any of its buttons. i just bought this one in August 2011

I just got the iPhone 5 and took it on a trip and took a bunch of photos on it. I just came home and hooked it up to my Mac for the first time and hit restore. All of my trip pictures disappeared. Is there any way I can retrieve them?
Did you by chance have photo stream turned on? If so then they might be there. When you restored your phone it deleted everything and they will be unretreivable from your computer.

Are you sure your friend didn't jailbreak it?
If so, save yourself a lot of time and trouble - throw it in the trash. -

I thought that I had backed up my pictures to icloud, but when I looked online at icloud, I don't see pictures listed. However, a few of the recent pictures have shown up on my phone.
IHow could I get these from my MacBook to my phone?
Thanks again.
When you log into you icloud account on your computer you are viewing data that you sync to icloud not the backups. You can't view the backups.
Look at the two links I provided.
You still didn't answer any of my two questions I asked. -
I had backed-up my iPhone and when I try to restore it it says that the back-up is corrupt or the iPhone is not compatible. I had a bunch of pictures that I need from that restore. Is there any way to get them back? I did the back-up to my Macbook
If the backup is corrupt, there is nothing that can be done.
For what reason did you choose to not copy the pictures off the device to a computer prior to attemping an update or whatever caused the need to restore? iPhones are not intended as sole storage of any media. -
After the most recent software update my phone was restored to the factory settings and all of my photos were lost.... Is there any way to get them back??? PLEASE HELP!!!!!
Photos are meant to be uploaded to your computer for archival and storage. Certainly before doing something as major as a software update, you've done this, correct? In this case, your photos should be residing safely on your computer and you can just synch them back.

i have a ipod touch 2g and after a restore none of my apps will restore because it says that i need a newer version of the ipod software to run them they all work fine till i did the restore . is there any way to get them back ?
Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

I had to restore my iPad recently and in opening Pages again found that even though I synced my iPad and backed it up my files did not come over to the restored iPad. Is there any way of recouperating them? Thanks!
working files aare not backed up as far as I know. You must either 1)"copy to itunes", then use itunes to save as... to your desktop machine. Or 2) use iCloud to keep the docs.
I also learned this the hard way. No way i know of to get the working docs back.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Only developers have legal access to iOS 6 right now, if you really, really wanted it you could sign on as a developer for $99.

Whats the best/fastest format to convert avchd to, for edit purposes?
Whats best format to convert 1920/1080 avchd to, for editing purposes? I tryed converting to HDV but didnt like the quality. I then tryed to convert the raw avchd files to mpeg2 @ 35 mbps. That is much cleaner but renders slow...about 1-1 ratio. Look
