Hej, I'm always asked to tipe in a serial number, as said in the question above.
I've tried all the steps Adobe wrote in the support section, but nothing helped.
Do you have other ideas?
I am really looking forward to get a solution for the problem.

I have a new computer running os10.9. my old computer ran cs5.5(upgrade version). I am trying to get CS5.5onto my new computer. when i load cs5.5 towards the end of the install it asks for the cs5.5 serial number. i put that in and everything is accepted but then it asks for a serial number for a full version of a product which men is design premium cs3 but it doesn't give me that product as a choice from the drop down menu. it only gives me adobe master collection cs3. why when i have purchased all these different upgrades can i now not use them and how can i sort this out. i need cs5.5 on my new computer.

Aperture keeps asking for my name and serial number
Aperture keeps asking for my name and serial number, but only on one of my Macs. This is a new Mac that I restored from my old Mac. It made sense to have to put in the documentation the first time, but the program keeps asking for it. Any thoughts?
Be sure to enter the serial number, when you are logged in from an account with Administrator priveleges - otherwise the serial number cannot be stored.
Aperture is installed for all users on your mac, so the serial number is written to the system library, not the user library; this requires read/write access for administrators. Do you enter your serial number using an administrator account?
SInce you migrated your system from another mac, you still may have an older ProAppSystemID file or Aperture cannot write to the System Library.
To stop Aperture asking for the serial number, first check, if you still have an old file "ProAppsSystemID" in your System Library.
Quit Aperture.
Go to your MacintoshHD and open the folder "Library", then "Application Support", then "ProApps".
Remove the File "ProAppsSystemID" to the Desktop, if it exist and restart Aperture.
Reenter your serial number, hopefully for the last time.
Sometimes Aperture writes this file to a temporary directory, when it cannot write to the Library. If the above does not work, look at the temporary directory /tmp
Use the Finder's "Go" menu
Go > Got to folder and enter /tmp into the textfield. If you see ProAppsSystemID there, move it to its proper location in /Library/Application Support/ProApps.
Aperture must be running, and you will have to wait a few minutes to be seeing the file appearing the /tmp directory.

The serial number that you might have is an upgrade version & it will be asking for a previous qualifying version serial number.

I got a light room 5 and once i put in the serial number its asking for an older version serial number. I had downloaded a 30 day trail few months back , but I dont hinki it had a serial number since it was only a trail version. I got it directly from Adobe a few hours aga and when I am trying to call them, I am on hold for the last 30 mts
You probably purchased a upgrade License so you will have to contact Adobe to get a refund and purchase the "Full Version".

Trial version of CS6 Master Collection keeps asking me to validate a serial number.
I downloaded the trial version of CS6 Master Collection for Windows. I installed it as a trial on a 64 bit windows machine. When I try to run any application, I am asked to validate a serial number even though none has ever been entered. I uninstalled, rebooted, downloaded and ran the latest version of the Adobe Cleaner and rebooted. I reinstalled and I am still being asked to validate a serial number. There have been registered versions of Photoshop CS 5 and CS5,5 on this machine, as well as a trial version of Photoshop CS6. I have tried everything I know. Help please?

It shows Validating Serial Number screen on every launch.?
Does it hang their or shows an error?
If it shows an error then on next screen does it prompt for entering new serial Number?
Can you please send oobelib.log (in %temp% in windows and /tmp in Mac) so that I can help you in a better manner.

Did you sign out before quitting PSE last time? In PSE 12 sign in = activate, and if you sign out you deactivate your copy. You want to sign in and stay signed in.

CS6 Creative Suite keeps asking to 'continue trial' and 'serial number' even though I own it.
Hello-
My office owns CS6 Creative Suite.
I needed to get After Effects CC for work so we downloaded Creative Cloud and then bought/downloaded After Effects CC onto my computer.
However- once we did this, my CS6 started asking to "continue trial" or for a "serial number"- but these are already owned applications. I cannot even get into them any more because of this.
This is a PC.

Why Is A3 asking for my package's serial number?
I downloaded the trial version, and followed instructions to purchase the license. I received an email which states: "Enter the following serial number to activate your copy:"
When I start Aperture 3, there is a box which asks for my name, and for my serial number. Under this it says to look at my original packaging for my serial number.
Why does it say this, when purchasing the upgrade is supposed to "instantly" allow use of Aperture 3? And I'm far, far away from my original packaging.
I've also seen an instruction that says to open the preferences of Aperture three and paste in the serial number. When I open preferences, I see no place to do this.
I'm really annoyed that I'm being asked for the original serial number from my packaging when the Apple website makes not mention of this.
Any ideas of what's wrong?

As it was an online purchase, your box is virtual! Enter the key that was sent to you from Apple after you purchased the online upgrade.
I puzzled over this a little as well, but it all worked.

OR do you mean you are looking for installer in English language? (If that's the case, then please download the installer using that link, as it is a Multilingual installation package.)
