I'm an Idiot - I can't get into my account
So, I decided to make a personal Skype account because I don't want people bugging me while I'm working. Problem is I've had my work account so long I don't know the password, and apparently I don't know the email address I used to set it up (?!). It might be an old employer, which would mean that I have no way of getting the password reset email. WHat to do!? I've never bought Skype Credit so it won't let me do the email reminder for my account.
The only silver lining is I can still log in with my phone - the password is stored in SKype I guess, but the iPhone Skype app does not seem to indicate my passoword anywhere or my email address. I really need my work Skype account - it's on my business cards, etc, etc. Any suggestions? I've really screwed myself if I'm locked out of this account forever.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter the name of the crashed application or process in the Filter text field. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Step 2
In the Console window, look under User Diagnostic Reports (not "Diagnostic and Usage Messages") for crash reports related to the crashed process. The report name starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot. I know the report is long. Please post all of it anyway.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful. -

Can't get into User Accounts in smc
After few Updating around I can't get into User Accounts in smc. I can go through up to there, but when I doubleclick on User Accounts it's get just clock loading forever, that's all. BTW I have unistalled update 121309-12 'coz with this update when I started smc - there was NO Solaris Management Console Server available. So I could not even load it. Please anybody know what causes this problem? Thanks in advance

I added the line to Services, delete the SMC Patch. But still it did not help. I am doing smt wrong :-(
I normally login to SMC. Server starts, I can see Management tools and Localhost, started Management. Then, when I click to User Accounts it's get overclocked, and waiting... -
I can't find out if there is a credit card already attached to my apple ID and password. Every time I go into iTunes, as apple instructs me to do, I can't get into "Review", as it "times out" right after choosing the "united States" for the country of origin. Every time. All seven times now. I received this phone as a gift from my wife and she can't remember if there was a credit card put on file, but thinks there was, since she's pretty sure they wouldn't let her set up the apple account for the new phone without it. You would think that this should be easy to find with my ID and password and security info and all, but after almost an hour, we are at our wit's end!! Please help!!! THANK YOU!!!
I have the same problem too and tried alot of things like time zone , restarting or changing DNS of wifi connection to 8.8.8.8 still nothing happens .. !!

I tried to sign into my itunes (i also have an iphone that it is connected too). It said i couldnt get into my account because it has been disabled because of security reasons. So i went to retrieve my password and typed in my birthday for security questions. It said it was wrong. So, I tried to have it email me the link. And I get nothing in my email from apple. I even checked the junk mail. I might have been hacked, which concerns me because i have my credit card info on my account. I have another account (which is what i am using now), so i could link that to my iphone instead, but i want to make sure that nobody can access my credit card info on my other account, plus i want on that account because it is my current email address. This is just a big mess and i dont know how to contact apple about it, or how much it will cost me to call them!!!!! HELP!!!
Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; select 'iTunes' in the middle column and then 'iTunes Store' in the right-hand column. In the next page choose 'Account Management' then '"Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons" alert'. Click 'Continue' and you will see a link to an article, which may help, and a link to email them if it doesn't.

If you set up a Rescue email address:
Go into Manage Your AppleID, https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/, select Password and Security, and click the first option (see below), and you will be able to proceed from there..... (I HOPE the first button is showing for you!)
Reset your password
You can change or reset the password for your Apple ID account by providing some information.
Select your authentication method.
Email authentication: To access your information, we will send an email to the rescue email address on file for you.
Answer security questions: To access your information, you will need to answer the security question(s) provided when you originally created your Apple ID.
If you did not set up a Rescue email address:
1. Go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'Apple ID Account Security' and fill in that you'd like your security
questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within about 24 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox)
2. Once your questions have been reset, and you set up new ones, also set up a RESCUE EMAIL ADDRESS, so if you forget them again, you won't have to go through all of this.....

I came home the other day and my computer was off, meaning the power had apparently gone out. I turned it back on and everything seemed normal when I got to the login screen. I put in the password for my admin account and it started to log in like normal but then all of a sudden the screen goes black and this white text appears. It says something about Darwin at the top of the screen and asks for a login name and password. I type in the info and it says that no folder exists for my login name and it was logging me in as "/" or something close to that. Well I managed to figure out that typing exit gets me back to the main login screen. I signed into to one of the other accounts on the computer, and it worked fine (which is how I'm typing this now). I looked in the Users folder and strangely, the 2 non admin accounts had one folder each, but my admin account had four, named Admin 1, Admin 2, etc. I searched the Apple website for similar problems but couldn't find anything useful. Any ideas?
I'm not sure how much this may help.
Problems with lost Admin account, or
Restore admin user status.
If your admin user loses admin status for whatever reason (and it has happened to a few people), and you do not have a second admin account, then try the following:
Boot into single-user mode. At the prompt enter:
mount -uw /
nicl -raw /var/db/netinfo/local.nidb -merge /groups/admin users your-username-here
Press RETURN after each command.
To restart in OS X enter:
reboot
I recommend you write down these commands in a monospaced font. Be sure to carefully note where there are spaces in the command line.
Because of the abnormal shutdown I also suggest you do the following:
Repairing the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger and Leopard.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer. Now restart normally.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior (4.0 for Tiger, and 4.1 for Leopard) and/or TechTool Pro (4.6.1 for Leopard) to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X. -

Unfortunately, because you never synced it, you won't have a backup, so you'll have to re-add apps that were purchased, but if you recall the Apple ID and password used, iCloud 'remembers' all of them, and you can add them back. Also, the Apple ID is tied to any other purchases you made from iTunes. This happens.
BUT, consider the passcode for the iPad like your ATM card PIN number. Protect and remember it. -

I recently purchased a tv episode from ITunes. It shows that it has downloaded. When I press play it starts to load then immediately returns to the episode page. I have tried rebooting several times.
