I'm at the moment looking for an good alternative for my 2 years old HP Workstation EliteBook 8730W.

I've fallen in love with the Envy 14-series and specially these three combinations of processors and memories:
1. Intel Core i5-480M processor (6 GB RAM DDR3) --> 8.499 kr.
2. Intel Core i7-720QM processor (4 GB RAM DDR3) --> 9.999 kr.
3. Intel Core i7-2630QM Processor/2.0 GHz (4 GB RAM DDR3) --> 8.999 kr.
The prices is in danish crowns and doesn't really matter to my choise but still my goal is to make the most of my money.
Is it a stupid question to ask if combination 3 will work faster than number 1?
If not - then its my question - otherwise I would appreciate all kind of input to this subject - maybe regarding other opportunities to my choise of PC.

i think you should go with option 3 first becase its 2nd gen cpu and its much faster than i7-720 and i5-480 .
as for the ram you can easily upgrade it later as you need it since it is user upgradable but the cpu is not upgradable. so go with the best cpu

I love the Smart Cover. It fits the way I work and I love the instant on/off and the always available screen protection. I wouldn't use my iPad without it.
I got a Cover Buddy for the back, because I wanted the back to be less slippery when I'm using the iPad in the classroom, teaching. I picked this back cover because it's VERY lightweight, easy to get on or off and, protects the corners, has accurate cutouts for the ports, and (in the colors) has a rubberized surface:

I have a Built NY "hoody" slip on case with a hard internal shell that I use when I'm in the field and I can put the iPad with the Smart Cover and the Cover Buddy inside this . But for everyday use, the Smart Cover with the Cover Buddy is a terrific combination.

Just put my i-tunes library on a 2nd hard drive, how do I easily change the location where the program looks for current songs from the C:/ drive to the new drive without going thru each song individually in the "get info" tab

I just installed a new hard drive and transfered my i-tunes library to the new drive. How can I make a bulk change of the location the program looks for the current songs. I know you can do it song by song from the "get info" tab but I need to do it for all 4500 songs. I have already changed the location that new files are stored to the new hard drive.

The pop-up lets you connect to the library file, iTunes Library.itl, on the external drive. This will, in turn, automatically update the preference for the iTunes Media folder to be the iTunes Media or iTunes Music folder inside the iTunes folder on the external drive and it will update the locations of all the content inside the media folder so that it uses the version on the external drive.
This works seamlessly if all iTunes content was inside the iTunes Media (or iTunes Music) folder (which was itself inside the iTunes library folder) before you moved/copied the iTunes folder. For content outside the iTunes Media folder iTunes should remain connected to the original location. These files should be consolidated (before or after the move/copy) and in addition, if available the library should be upgraded to the newer layout which places iPod Games and Mobile Applications inside the media folder instead of the library folder. (File > Library > Organize Library...)
For split libraries there are methods to rejoin them before moving (preferred) or repairing after the fact (e.g. my script) which I can go into if needed.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. For the iPad Mini the iOS is 6.0.2. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.

Hey folks, how you doing? My name is Chris, 26 from Glasgow. I was a very keen gamer at a young age, heavily into my Sega mega Drive and Super Nintendo, i then didnt play much until Sega Dreamcast where I became obsessed with the likes of Shenmue, Jet Set Radio, Skies of Arcadia, i then followed up with a Playstation 2 where I played Final Fantasy 10, Tomb Raider, Reisdent Evil, I also had a Nintendo Gamecube and liked the platformers like Super Mario Sunshine, Zelda, Sonic, Super Monkey Ball, I then drifted off gaming for some reason, mainly lifestyle was more interested in going out being a student etc. I have been hooked back in as I got a Playstation 3 for Christmas, very late I know 7 years oops oh well Im hoping to get a good 2/3 years off this as I have such a back catalouge to play with and PS4 probs wont get going for a year or so and I wont pay launch prices. I have an ecletic taste but I prefer action/adventure, rpgs, platformers a little kiddish I know but its a lot of fun, I prefer more problem solving games but do like instant fix racing games. My PS3 collection (games i got for xmas) is Uncharted 3 (my fave, completed it already but will go back to get Trophys, will be checking out the other 2, love a good story) Final Fantasy 13 i think? Only played an hour of that but might do some of that tonight. Sonic Generations which is what I would say I play when I dont want something too hard, Gran Turismo which is really fun but I know nothing about cars so I only find it semi interesting, Resident Evil 6 which I have played an hour or so off, its still to grip me, I was a huge fan of Code veronica on Dreamcast and Res 4 on Gamecube but this isnt as good for me...yet. And the Tomb Raider trilogy which I love, but I still prefer the original games by Core Design. So please add me folks as I have no online friends, i will be getting more into the online RPG thing in the near future, people have recommended Skyrim to me if you can think of any I would like please give me a shout. Ask Google... they locked you out of the email account.

Apple ID for my 9 year old - How can I set up an ID for my 9 years old. We have bought him an ITouch for his birthday, he also has a $30 iTunes card. To load up the iTunes card he needs an ID. When I try to set him up it says he is below the min age.

There's no way around the age limit. I suggest a family account that you, an adult, control.

For the issue with the videos that will no longer work, try closing all apps and then reboot the iPad.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
For the issue with sounds, you have system sounds muted.
Check the side switch above the volume rocker on the side of the iPad. Flip it the other way and see if you get sound from the apps, keyboard clicks, etc.
If not, double tap the home button to bring up the task bar at the bottom. In the task bar swipe all the way to the right. Look on the far left side and see if there is a speaker icon. If there is, tap it and see if the sounds on apps come back. Then tap the home button.
You can change how the side switch works to either lock screen rotation or to mute system sounds. You can go to Settings>General>Set Side switch to Lock Rotation or mute. If you choose mute, the switch will turn off apps sounds. Otherwise you use the task bar as described above to mute those sounds.

Im pretty sure what you are looking at is Set up Assistant where it shows different languages on the slider. If I am right then just slide to unlock and follow the prompts to choose your language, country etc.

Try getting a credit card from the same people who issued the debit card. If I read the home sharing paper properly after your set it up with the credit card you can change the payment method back to debit.

How can i setup an apple ID for an 80 year old family member in another country from my country

I am trying to set up an old 3gs for my 80 year old father and i need an apple id for him. I get an error on the apple website when i try to set an apple id up for him, no explanation just "error: this page cant be displayed.Contact support for additional information. The Incident ID: N/A.".
I'm assuming its some kind of security error because I'm trying to do this from the UK and his address is in Spain. I hope to deliver via another family member who is going out to Spain. I would like it to be completely set-up for him.
Any Advice would be appreciated.
