I had typed i nice message about my speed loss but it was wiped when I tried to post so here's my new one. no frills
old speed 600kb/s new speed 30kb/s - has been this way for 9-10 days, today was first day i reset router. no change
nothing has changed on network - no new hardware/software. even my Xbox has lost ability to d/l stuff on iPlayer quickly.
tried calling helpline. didnt speak good english. worse than useless...

That wouldn't make him sync that slow, it would only affect his BRAS profile.
Looks like there is something causing intermittent noise on his line, causing a resynch at a low speed, when he reads his stats then he has a high noise margin because the inteference has gone.
Common culprits: Sky box (try 2 filters on it's phone line), unfiltered phone equipment, Xmas lights (a bit early), other electrical equipment in the house (can be hard to nail down when it's so intermittent). This time of year I'd be suspecting a central heating boiler.

My apple ID password works for all of my devices but one. i only have one account and have changed the password several times but still cannot get it to work on my iPhone. any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks for the suggestion, Chris. I actually did not resolve the issue which is why i did not post an answer.
it turns out that my iphone seems to default to an incorrect User ID (it defaults to an @me account, which is not something that i have ever used).
even when i change the User ID in my settings for the iTunes store, it still appears when i attempt to get updates for my existing apps. however, it does seem to use the correct ID when i attempt to purchase new apps.
If someone actually had an answer to correct this, i would love to update my existing apps.

i damaged my iphone 5 and have been sent a new one, but i do not have enough storage to back up my phone and do not want to pay for more storage. can i get all of my contacts, photos, etc. on my new phone just by logging into my icloud account?
Not photos, just data synced with iCloud shown in Settings>iCloud. If you don't have sufficient storage to back up to iCloud, back up to your computer instead using iTunes (connect you phone to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of your phone in iTunes, go to ths Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click Back Up Now). Also transfer your purchases to your iTunes library (connect your phone to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases). If you have photo stream photos older than 30 days tha you wan to save, save these to your camera roll before backing up (tap Select, tap the photos, tap the share icon -- box with upward facing arrow, then tap Save to Camera Roll).
When setting up your new phone, when given the option choose Restore from iTunes Backup and restore the backup you made earlier. -

The first thing you need to do is download and install the Creative Cloud Desktop Application. Then, open that program and click on the Apps tab. You download and install creative cloud applications from there.
If your computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements to run a given program, it won't show up under the Apps tab.
Once they are installed, you'll need to go to your Applications folder (Mac) or Program Files (x86) folder (PC) to start the program itself. -

What seems to be working for many users (myself included) is to sign out of CC and then sign back in. After signing back in, LR will run.

I have created an iMovie but cannot share it. I have looked at the help menu and have tried to follow these instructions but cannot get the sharing button to open anything.
Do you have MacKeeper installed? If so, you need to uninstall it. There is a known issue where MacKeeper disables all the sharing functions from the new iMovie.
Uninstall MacKeeper, then re-install iMovie.
Keep MacKeeper uninstalled. -

The procedure is Settings>Messages>Send & Receive at>You can be reached by iMessages at>Add another email address. The email address has to be a valid working email address, obviously. Apple should verify the email address and you have to go to the inbox of that email account, read the verification email from Apple and follow the inductions in the email in order to complete the verification. Then you go back to the settings, uncheck your email address and check the new email address to be used as the contact email address.
