I'm being asked to enter my ID password on my ipad for icloud, but the email is no longer active and reset remails are not being received.
I'm being asked to enter my ID pswd on my ipad 2 for icloud. but the email address and ID are no longer being used, and reset emails are not being received. How can I deactivate this? I have another ID which works fine, but this issue with the old ID is not allowing me to use my ipad. thanks.
If your iPad is signed into an old ID and you are trying to change it, if the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Contact Apple through iTunes Store Support, and explain that you have forgotten your 3 security questions, that you can reset your password, but doing so doesn't reset your security questions.
Remember, support will receive hundreds, if not thousands of requests per day, some from people trying it on, others with little explanation and others that are written extremely poorly. Take the time to explain your situation properly, be precise and concise, brief but comprehensive. -
I have and IPad 2. I realized (while travelling by air) that my power button was stuck in the down position. I cannot power off my IPad. Wondering if anyone has experienced the same issue and what you may have done to rectify? I think Apple may be aware of this problem. I stopped into an Apple store and they were not supprised, but I could not make an appt because I was traveling and did not live in the area. Thanks for any ideas.
Thanks for the swift reply, I have been looking online and a loose plug seems to be somewhat of an issue with many, I hope mine is actually a problem and not what others are experiencing. It's taken me this long to even reach out for the simple fact I HATE being a complainer but this is just horrible.

i was charged for a movie that never was downloaded, i asked for it but the conection was too slow and I never was able to have the movie that i asked for...how can i get it without being charged again, who could remove the chage from my Crecit card?
You may not be able to get a refund, since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:

It's possible they'll make an exception for you, particularly if the problem was on their end preventing the movie from downloading in a reasonable time.

For some reason the Apple ID window in iTunes and App Store now seems to suddenly have a character number constraint which prevents me using my 29 character Apple ID. As a result I am unable to enter the final few characters of my Apple ID which I have had for many years. Does anyone know what has caused this?
You need to ask Apple for assistance with getting back into your old ID. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to resolve this issue through the Account Security team, fill out and submit this form.

I can't update apps on my iphone 5. theirs an old apple ID. That I don't have the pass word. I've created a new apple ID. but the old one keeps popping up. I have it on the Itunes on the phone but the old one keeps comming up and asking for a pass word.
Apps are permanently tied to the Apple ID used to purchase them. You will have to delete the apps from the phone and re-purchase them using your Apple ID.

All content from iTunes is tied to the account that bought/downloaded it, and it can't currently be transferred to a different account. I'm tying to make a payment for photoshop but the fields on the payment form won't allow me to enter the correct card information. Im based in Japan but my card is registered to a UK address. the fields only allow for a Japanese style address and postcode. What can i do to complete the payment and get photoshop!

try tapping holding on the key that would be most similar to the letter you want to enter, that will bring up a menu of other characters similar to that character and maybe the greek letter will be included in that menu

My account keeps asking for Region but the drop down menu lists Cities in China. I can,'t cange the region in my account because it asks me to check the date and time but these are correct. Any answers please?
Look, I understand I still need a card attached to the account. The problem is, it won't accept my card because I only have 87 cents in my bank account right now.
If I had known there would be so much trouble with the iTunes card, I would have just put the cash in my bank account in the morning instead of buying an iTunes card (I didn't expect the banks to be open on Thanksgiving of course).
Apple will only accept cards that have a balance. The balance is so small in my account that it won't accept it as a valid card.
I'm going to have to contact Apple anyway to reset the security questions. That's obvious. Your answers were not exactly helpful. You didn't tell me anything I don't already know, but thanks for trying to be helpful. -
I've asked this before, but the spinning wheel is still there and sometimes it freezes up to where I have to shut it down manually. Can someone tell me how to fix this!! I dont really know how to find certain places to check on things.
The feature media.windows-media-foundation.enabled by default is true, did you have to set it back? Please also check out version 29 it just came out this week.
