I'm fairly new to Apple - is this a phishing scam email?

Just had this addressed to my email address, suspect that it's a phishing scam and to be ignored.

Should I just delete?

Note that if you hover your cursor over the "click here to complete validation" link and look at the URL it's really going to, it directs you to:
http://www.agaxonline.com/nueva/language/en-AU/online/transaksion/users/verfied/ canada.php
Apple would never use some third-party web site, or anything other than their own apple.com domain, for any of their services related to your Apple ID.
This is a quick way to see if a link in any email really is going where it claims it is, something you should always do, particularly when you've received an email you weren't expecting.

Turned on brand new Imac, than saw this message in my emails.

A few minutes after getting the new Imac with Mavericks running, I looked at my yahoo email and found this message from Apple Support:

I am not terribly familiar with Icloud.....what could be happening here? Is someone on the outside getting my information...do I need to be concerned about this....btw, I don't know anyone in particular with a 27"Imac, I only have 21.5" Imacs, two of them. Both were up and running when I was doing all this and transferring my docs etc from one to the other.....so...what do you all think?

I recieved the exact same message after I installed OS X on my new IMac. "Your apple ID was used to sign in to FaceTime and IMessage on an IMac 27" named "iMac14,3"." Since I have a 21.5" IMac that does not have a name, I changed my Apple ID and Password.
The whole thing seemed very strange so I looked up the warning on this site and came across this post. Seems I changed my ID for nothing. This issue should be fixed, it is confusing. I don't use Facetime or IMessage so I have no idea why I got this message.

I know have a mobile me account and so my apple id is switched from my email address. i am trying to update my apps but it won't let me as it won't recognize my new 'ID'. how can i fix this on my iphone?

I have mobile me account now and so my apple id is switched from my email address to my mobile me address. Since I have made this change I can't update my apps. Everytime I try to sign in it won't recognize the switch. I have updated all the proper information on my iphone, however, when updating apps it still shows my apple id as my email address and not the mobile me account address. I am not sure what else to do??? I have even sync'd my iphone and tried to do it through my pc, however, it says that it can't update (nothing to update). I have ten updates sitting on my iphone apps...What to do...what to do? Very confused.

Where are you trying to log in? You should be able to change your ID at http://appleid.apple.com - can you log in there?
Before you change your ID you should log out of the iTunes Store and on any devices which are logged into iCloud. Then once you've changed it you can log back in with the new ID. (Your iCloud synced data will disappear from the device when you do this but will reappear when you sign back in - give it time).
If you are unable to sign into http://appleid.apple.com you will need to contact Support. Go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com . Click' See all products and services', then 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID', then 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'. My old emails address which I have used as my apple id for 10 years is being made redundant. I have changed the email address to a new gmail one and this is my new apple id. But my iMac has not recognised this. It keeps saying it wants the password for my old email address. I have seen some advice on these forums which suggest signing out of iCloud and then back in again. But when I start doing this it asks me if i want all the photos deleted that have not been downloaded onto the mac.
I have had an iCloud account for quite sometime and I'm afraid of losing everything in my cloud if i sign out and sign in with a new id.
Is this fear realistic?
I know I can change back to my old email, sign out and then sign in wight he new one...

This did not work for me. My old email account for iCloud still pops up on my screen every time I open my macbook. I've deleted it, reset it, every thing I can think of and it still shows up. I think six months of this is more than enough time to wait.

Unfortunately, that's the way the cookie crumbles nowadays. Sir Jony Ive's GUI design for iOS7 has been met with much skepticism (to say the least). But until the company sees the compelling need for an adjustment or reversal, it "ain't happenin' ". So amble over to the feedback page ( http://www.apple.com/feedback/ ) and make your displeasure known to the company, OR make it known by not purchasing its products. Because as long as the iGadgets continue selling as fast as they can make them, they will see no need for change.
BTW, do note you are NOT talking to Apple here. This is just a user-to-user forum.
Edit: for now, you can also try out any of the alternate calendaring apps available in the App Store.

yes you can do it and not void the warranty. Those are the only hardware changes that Apple permits. Instructions on how to upgrade the ram and remove and replace the hard drive are even included in the owners manuals for MacBook Pros.

An iTunes account can only be used in one store at a time, and you need to be in that country with a valid billing address on your account for that country in order to use it there. An email address can only be linked to one account, so if you want two separate iTunes accounts then you will need two email addresses
