Keep powering your phone off and back on, it can take up to 2 hours for a normal service provider to finalize the activation process. When you got your new iPhone (congrats by the way) you should have received a little bubble that appeared that told you when the phone was activated, did you see that?

If you want to setup your new phone as a new device, then there is nothing you need to do.

HT1766 I am trying to restore a new replacement phone from an icloud backup but it is telling me there is a problem with backup data. The backup was done under 7.1 and I think the new phone still just has 7.04. My itunes backup was lost last week...sugges

I am trying to restore from icloud but it appears the 7.1 it was backed up in and the 7.04 on the new phone won't allow it. My itunes library was lost last week due to computer crashing and having to be restored. I have a clean very current icloud back up done on March 21st but I cant seem to get it there. You will have to update the iPhone to iOS 7.1 if that is the iOS the backup was done in. You cannot restore a newer iOS update to a phone with older iOS. Once you update the phone, you will be able to restore the backup.

My husband has an iphone4 and I used the Net10 byop package and it activated and they gave me the phone number and it worked immediately exept it states on home screen SPRINT!

I went to the "about" section under settings and it shows sprint there also. How is this possible and how is the net10 service working when they are not tied to Sprint? I will say that the reception with net10 and this phone is horrible compared to the previous phone that my husband was using before we switched him to the iphone and before he had excellent reception most anywhere we were.
I really need help figuring this out and have read numerous articles but nothing can tell me how to change these settings or what i should do exactly.

Net10 use ATT,T-Mobile for GMS phones and Verizon and Sprint for CDMA since your IPHONE is from sprint they are using the sprint network to give you the service you are using; that is why in the carrier it says Sprint.

5th generation iPod Touch speaker is not working with music and apps, but the alarm sound goes off fine. Why?

I have a 5th generation iPod Touch and it got a small amount of water in it around the speaker. When I tried to see if my music would play through it, it couldn't. But, when I tried my alarm to make sure I could still hear it, you could. The sound was fine from the alarm, not as loud as it used to be but I could still hear it. Why doesn't the sound work with my music and apps? Also, would I be able to exchange it if I have a warranty?

Sync each of them as always. There is no need to do anything, just sync them to your computer.

Why am I having trouble syncing my music and apps from iTunes (10.7) with iPhone 5?

In ios 6, I could choose an artist from the "srtists" view and it would show me all his albums as a list. Now, in ios 7, when I choose an artist, it shows me every song underneath every album, making it impossible to see al the albums at once! Is there anyway to minimize this view so I could see only the albums' titles as a list?

This is all about the experience and accessibility. I don't even mind if the new desing is beautiful or not, but if I find myself, like you, avoiding looking for my music, my experience becomes frustrating. I have about 35 albums of a single artist and I used to love going over them and choose the right thing for me, especially being on the road a lot, and now I have to think twice about even entering his name.
I really hope Apple will take those kind of things into consideration when they issue updates for ios 7, and maybe also give us back the goole search which was embeded into the spotlight search (which is really not that big of a request).
And for your 4s - get the new iphone, it's MUCH better
