Can I save a TV series to my iPad and watch it over a couple week period while away from home, questionable wifi and on a plane? How would I do this?

The easiest way to do that is to purchase the series in iTunes. Then sync to the iPad.

If you are syncing with a computer and transferring your purchases there you can sync the 2nd iPad with the computer and transfer all of them (quickest method). If you are using the same Apple ID on the 2nd iPad you can download them again without being charged.

If she creates her own iTunes account she can't use any protected content purchased under another account. She can play unprotected content synced from an iTunes library on a computer, but she can only download content from the cloud that is purchased under her account.
It's a pain I know, but the longer you put off the move, the worse the situation will become.

Ok so I have an iPod touch 4th gen and I purchased some music on it. I also have an iPad mini and wanted to download it onto there also. Problem is that no matter how many times I try I can't get my purchased music section to load. I get the big at the top where you can select all or not on this iPad and the alphabet down the left hand side and the little loading thingy appears but nothing ever actually loads no matter how long I wait. It also sometimes just crashes the whole thing and kicks me out the app. Any suggestions? I've tried turning device on and off, it has the latest software iOS 7 and I've tried resetting all the settings already also as well as logging in and out of my Apple ID.

Prior to going you can rent and download them on your iPad via its iTunes store app, or rent and download them on your computer's iTunes and connect and your iPad and move them to it - they will go in the iPad's Videos app.
Some people have posted that they need to start playing rentals whilst they still have internet connection, so you may want to watch a few seconds prior to going offline - you have 24 hours if you are in the US, 48 hours elsewhere, after starting to watch a rental before it expires.

Hello mlazaretti. Vacation time is awesome. (Especially a road trip!) Since you will be going out for two weeks, you never know if having extra data may come in handy. I highly recommend switching to the next tier up so this way you have more data. This way it is only $10.00 more versus $15.00, and you dont have to worry about overages. Then change back at the start of the next billing cycle.

Somewhat much later query but I do have a related one. I've purchased my iPad 2 in India in October past. Using an adaptor for Canada I seem to have no problems charging it. Now I'm travelling to Chile and I see there is a 'similarity' in the two prongs on the electrical cord which came with the iPad (India) AND a similar pair of dual prongs used in Chile. I note Chile also uses a 3 - prong (horizontal) outlet. Query - Should I have any concern re the different currents used ; Canada 120V - 60 Hz versus Chile 220 - 50 Hz, or as noted earlier the iPad takes care of that with its built in converter. Adobe is moving from the purchase of a license for their software to the renting of it. I'm old school so I'd prefer a perpetual license. But you already have a subscription to Illustrator so I guess it'd be advisable to look into whether expanding the subscription to include other software will save you some money. Also I remember something about Adobe adding features to its Cloud version which aren't also added to the licensed version and a different way of handling updates and upgrades. Indeed, Adobe states that CS 6 has reached the end of the road. So if you're going to stay with Adobe, you may very well be stuck.
I'd suggest spending some time in the Adobe Communities. You'll likely find people complaining about choices they've made that you'll have to make too. Let them be the beta testers.

According to https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/audiobooks-from-audible/id379693831?mt=8 it only requires iOS 5 or later and it is "optimized" for iPhone 5. I think it will likely work well on your iPhone 4.

I've read some of the post here that I thought might help but they refer to titles (Music) and triangles in the "Devices" window which are nowhere to be seen when I open the "Devices" window.
I have iTunes 11.0.3 and Mac OS 10.6.8. Does this make a difference?

I should mention that, for the first problem, I do make sure that my new tracks are stored in the folder where I told iTunes that my music is in. Also, when I say the cataloging of my library stops short of cataloging all my songs, I have tried leaving the computer unattended for days (my computer's sleep mode is disabled). It always stops before cataloging all of my music regardless of whether I am doing something else while iTunes is cataloging, or if I just let iTunes be the only program that's open during the cataloging process.
