I'm having a problem installing the Muse update. I get the error:

Exit Code: 7
Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DF024 ...
-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------
- 0 fatal error(s), 1 error(s)
----------- Payload: Adobe Muse CC 2014 2014.3.0.1176 {4FC5F06E-31E5-4C22-9449-CB41B62D1897} -----------
ERROR: DF024: Unable to preserve original file at "/Applications/Adobe Muse CC 2014/Adobe Muse CC 2014.app/Contents/Frameworks/adbeape.framework/adbeape" (Seq 10)
I've tried (from a discussion on color profiles error DF024) renaming the adbeape.framework folder. I then get a slew of error messages. Any suggestions?

I did not remove the uninstaller, but it is not in the Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. There is an uninstaller alias in the Muse program folder, but it points to nothing . . .
I tried removing the OPM.db file and reinstalling the Muse update. It still fails with the same error message.
Instead of uninstalling all CC, running cleaner, reinstalling all CC, and finding and reinstalling all my third-party Photoshop extensions—using most of my day, I believe I will live with Muse CC2014.2 and update reminder.
Thanks for all your help, anyway

  • HT1222 When I try to do the iTunes update I get an error message

When I try to do the iTunes update I get an error message "iTunes" has an invalid signature. It will not be installed.

I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
    http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

  • Problem installing Flash 9.0 I get "access error code"

Up until about a week ago I had Flash installed like every other human on the planet. But then one night flash was gone from my internet. Everywere I went I got the little puzzle piece icon telling me to go and reinstall Flash 9. So I follow the link. Download Flash 9.0 installer and then half way through installation an error pops up.
It says "Error creating folder. 1008:9,-5000 Access denied error" When I click OK it gives me another message saying "You do not have enough access privileges for this installation".
I cant for the life of me figure out why it's doing this and I dont know what to do. Not having Flash is like not having color TV. HELP!

    hi there--
i found a link with info concerning this error which recommended typing the following into terminal to resolve this issue--
    sudo chmod 775 /Library/Components
the link is here if you'd like to look over it. http://www.unibrain.com/support/FAQFire-iDC.htm seems it is a permissions error. it is not for the same thing, but the error is the same, because it is an os x error, not a flash error. you could also simply try repairing the permissions beforehand. • With the latest update I get the following error: The update could not be installed. Please make sure there are no other copies of Firefox running on your computer, and then restart Firefox to try again; suggestions, advice, help.

Help>About Firefox> says I am using Firefox/3.6.10./GTB7.1 I get a note from Mozilla that there is an update. I download it after granting permission to change my machine. I say OK. A green bar slides across the monitor announcing that the update is being downloaded. When I then assume it is being installed I get the following error: The update could not be installed. Please make sure there are no other copies of Firefox running on your computer, and then restart Firefox to try again. There are no other copies running. The machine is not on a network. I am using WIN7

Thanks for the info about Trojan. It may be the problem. Meanwhile I went to Admin/Owner side and did some cleaning -- including trying to reload my Favorite/Bookmarks that have always carried forth from previous levels of Windows XP and earlier.
The new computer here did not grab the Bookmarks from the previous, and yesterday I thought I had them loaded, and today went to Worker-Bee side and they are not showing.
About those add-ons... I have no idea, but think I got everything up to date yesterday. I will look at your earlier reply tomorrow or this weekend when I have more time at home to learn from it.
Thank you for your time in helping.
Late here, heading to sleep. Marilyn

  • When I run the Ipod Updater I get the message Error in service

My 5g Ipod is not recognized and when I run the updater it shows the message Error in Service. Please help

Not sure....Have you tried resetting the iPod and trying it again. Almost sounds like the software issue, but not totally sure. If you haven't tried resetting your iPod, try that and see what you get! If you don't know how to reset your iPod just press and hold the middle button and the menu button. Your iPod will turn off, and reboot

  • I had ITunes installed and then updated and get this error... An error occured during installation of assembly 'policy 8.0 microsoft VC80.CRT, type ="win32.policy" version ="8.0.50727.6195" publicKey token="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b" processorArchitecture="x86".

    Can someone help me?

OK.  You may have to reinstall everything from scratch but follow following steps:
    1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:
    http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall
Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over.
    2. You should remove all instances of iTunes and the rest of the components listed below:
it may be necessary to remove all traces of iTunes, QuickTime, and related software components from your computer before reinstalling iTunes.
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order:
    iTunes
    QuickTime
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support
    Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Follow the instructions from Apple article listed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 to remove all components
    3. Reboot your computer. Next, download iTunes from here:http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and install from scratch

  • My muse updation process getting some error when i am doing update muse through adobe cloud its stop updating on 53%

    unable update muse software

    Sorry to hear that Sattar.
One more thing you can try is create a New Admin User on your computer, and log-in using that Admin user.... Can you run the update now? If yes, then there's definitely a setting in your system somewhere that's preventing the update from happening.
If that also fails you might need to try a full uninstall and reinstall: Run CC Cleaner Tool and reinstall...
If the CC Cleaner Tool reports any issues, check the log file they reference and remove any things left behind manually from your system.
    For more detailed info see:
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

  • Having installed an upgrade for Photoshop Elements 13, I cannot open the application. I get an error message saying "Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure Adobe Photoshop Elements Edit

Having installed an upgrade for Photoshop Elements 13, I cannot open the application. I get an error message saying "Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and OS X".
I have since uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but get the same error message.

Which version of OS X do you have? It's not clear from your post whether "installed an upgrade" means you just installed PSE 13 as an upgrade or you installed an update to PSE 13, like ACR 9 or 13.1. Please clarify.

I don't know what to tell you. I get the same crap. I have been into computers for about 25 years now and it really ticks me off that after all these years these companys can not put out something that works. It seems like they put it out then expect the buyer to fix there screw ups. Why should we have to do there jobs and have to pay for it too?

  • I am having a problem installing the updated version 10.3.1.55 on my laptop.

I am having a problem installing the updated version of Itunes 10.3.1.55 on my laptop which uses Windows XP operating system. I have download the software from Apple's website and have successfully installed it. However, when I launch Itunes I get an error message "Itunes was not installed correctly" "error 7 (windows error 999)". I have uninstalled the software, deleted all associated files, and reinstalled the software, but I am still having the same problem. I did not have any issues with the older version of Itunes. Does any one have a work around for this problem, or how can I download the old version I was using?

    Hi all,
Sylonious, did you manage to sort this problem out? I have been experiencing similar problems. I think my problem was because I had many different versions of JDKs. I have done a complete re-install. I would be really grateful to you (and anyone else) for help with this problem.
I have re-installed JSDK1.4.2_03, set the "path" variable to "C:\JSDK1.4.2_03".
When I compile using "javac" I get an error saying "javac" is not recognised.
When I compile using "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_03\bin\javac Freq.java" no error is thrown.
Every time I try to run a java file, I always get the NoClassDefFound error. When run with the -verbose option, files are loaded from C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin - is this correct?
I have removed all previous references to java in the registry editor.
    Please help !
    Regards,
    Vipul
