Does anybody know why this effect on the bottom left side of this picture, occurs when I use the flash in dimly lit conditions.

Tens of Thousands having massive problems with Flash Playing Cityville

Literally tens, possibly hundreds, of thousands of people are having problems with FlashPlayer crashing constantly while trying to play a Zynga game, Cityville, which plays on Facebook while running the game on Google Chrome. None of us had this problem before sometime last week and now playing the game is all but impossible. Sometimes the game works for a minute or two with great lag and sometimes it shuts down right after you get the game up and running. The only message we get is that Flashplayer has crashed. We can restore the page and go again for a minute but the problem occurs time after time. Does anyone know a solution or does anyone know how to get Adobe, Zynga and Facebbok to get together and solve the problem? Most of us are just computer users and aren't computer savvy so don't know what to do.
I followed instructions on my PC and got a little more info. It seems that Windows 'sees' the program on it's initiation as a possible threat to the system and/or running too slowly. Her is some information I found but I don't know and am afraid to do anything else with it.
Heck, I can't even upload that; I'm told the file type isn't allowed. LOL Anyhow it told me that I should go into my MOTO Connect Service and manually select (with instructions) the .EXE file for the app to bee an exception to the genral DEP. I didn't do that because I was a bit timid and also never found an .exe file that looked correct. Perhaps I should be happy about that....
Anyhow, there are over 6 million people who regularly play Cityville and all of them no doubt have adjusted their opinions about Adobe because of this. Shame is that it is not likely even Adobe's problem.

Problems with flash photos on iPhone 4s

I have a black iPhone and my friend has a white iPhone, both 4s. I have no problem taking flash photos with mine, but on hers, when the light from the flash LED comes on and then fires at the moment of taking the picture, it is like the light is almost "bleeding" into the white back cover. When you look at it when this happens, the light source is no longer just the small LED, but is now an area of the back cover the size of your fingernail. This seems to be having the affect of causing all the flash photos to look like you have taken the photo in fog. There is a white "cloud" across the entire photo, making it totally unusable as a photo, you cannot see ANYTHING at all. I have made sure there is nothing in front of the lens or flash (fingerprints or scratches) and the camera takes perfectlly fine non-flash photos. My black iPhone 4s does NOT do this. Also tried with and without a case on the iPhone, to make sure it wasn't light catching the edge of the hole on the case and reflecting back to the lens. Does the same thing when the case is completely removed from the iPhone. Any suggestions ?

I have a Black 4S and it has the exact same problem - using flash means pictures in fog - totally unusable. Like you, I removed the case, checked the lens, everything. I have no idea why this happens but it makes flash photograph totally useless. I think I will see if Apple would care to make good a guarantee on it's apparently defective phone camera.

Having a problem with Flash Builder and Extension Builder - images not apearing on Mac system

Have a panel created in Flash Builder 4.5 with Extension Builder 2.1. Everything is fine when installed on a PC but when installed on a Mac the images in the panel do not show.
Mac and PC both using Adobe Photoshop CC . Both installed from same .ZXP file using Adobe Extension Manager CC.
Any ideas?

No I used relative path - the path is images/image name

tried downloading Extension Builder 2.1 and compiling on Mac but still have same results - images show up fine in design window , but not when running panel in Photoshop

went back to project
checked item Embed under Common image properties
ran project and image shows up

I am having a problem with Flash Player constant crashing.

I have updated to new version plus uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times. Dell computers have also attempted and claimed to have been successful three different times. It still continues to crash. The new message I am getting is continue plug-in or stop plug-in. I typically stop plug-in but then it can up to five minutes or more to reload the page. I also receive reload the page message as well. This happens using Firefox and Chrome both as the browser. Forgot to mention this happens when playing games, i.e. Farmville 2 and Coasterville, on Facebook. I don't seem to have a problem on any of the other games available. This has been happening for months and I have researched everything I can plus doing everything I can but it does NOT resolve the problem. I have also disabled my virus protection while reinstalling this software. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!! Failed to mention that the Dell technician even uninstalled Firefox and Chrome to eliminate the issue. Of course per this message that did not resolve the problem either. Thank you , Pam

I also don't know if Flash Player uses its own encoding, or that of the hosted web page.

Having installation problems with flash player! Please help!

So i download and begin installation for adobe flash player and it starts installing but stops at 50% to tell me to close Safari browsers. The problem is that there are no safari browsers open because I had already closed out of them but it keeps telling me to close them.
I have no idea how to fix this, please help!!

If you're just closing the browser window, you're not actually quitting the application. You need to quit the application for Flash Player to install. There are a few different ways to Quit Safari:
Quit Safari app from the Dock icon:
Mouse over the Safari icon in the Dock
Press CTRL and left-mouse click at the same time
A menu will display. Click Quit to terminate the application.
Use Activity Monitor to terminate Safari:
Launch Activity Monitor from Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor
Ensure 'All Processes' are being listed (menu in the upper right)
Find and select Safari
Click the Quit Process button (upper left)

I am having a problem with email on my iPhone - email accounts disappear.

I have several email accounts linked to my phone - some exchange, others hosted by Gmail. Occassionally, some of the Gmail linked accounts will disappear from the list of email accounts in my mail app. When this happens, I will cycle the phone off and then back on (turning the phone all the way off, not just locking the phone), and the email accoutns will reappear in the mail app.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Does anyone know what I can do to correct this?

Problems with flash Player

So I'm having a problem with flash player, and was wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing, or might be able to help.
- Upgraded 2 computers to snow leopard, macbook pro laptop, and mac Pro tower (intel proc).
- Laptop has no problems, everything renders fine, and without any difficulty.
- Mac Pro doesn't display any dynamic data, text fields show up blank, some flash player controls don't work, brightcove player won't load completely... things are just not working right.
- Main browser is Safari, but same problem exists in Camino, Firefox, etc...
- I've had Safari Stand installed, but have since removed it.
- I've removed GROWL notifications completely
- I've got debug and developer menus turned on (but have that with the laptop also.)
Please see the screenshot attached. This graph should have text data on it showing the x/y axis, the key, as well as data when you mouse over each block, but doesn't show anything.
The second screen shot shows a brightcove player from our website... There should have full controls at the bottom, and nothing shows up. If I right-click, and go to 'view full screen', I can't then get out of full screen by clicking escape key on the keyboard, I have to use any player controls, or right-click again, and hit 'exit full screen'.
Anyone have any suggestions? It's something to do with my computer, rather than snow leopard, because flash works fine on my laptop, but not on the desktop. Any help is really appreciated !

I reached your post because I was having the exact same issues as you and I found a fix that worked for me! The problem is a font issue: I logged in with the guest account that had no users font installed and flash was working fine, so I logged back into my account and moved all the fonts in my 'User>Library>Fonts' folder in a folder in the desktop. Then I closed and reopened Safari and Flash was working!
In the end the problem was with a version of Arial that I had in my users' font folder: I deleted just that, put my users' font back in the folder and the problem disappeared.

Problems with Flash video playback

I'm having a problem with Flash video playback, hoping
someone here can help.
I have several movies which I have converted to .flv using
the Flash authoring tool. I have then created an .swf for each
movie, embedding the .flv along with the playback component,
playback controls, etc.
I can open these .swfs using Flash Player and everything
displays and plays as expected. However, when I embed the .swf into
a web page and open it using a browser, the playback controls don't
show up, and the movie will only play if it has been encoded to
autoplay. I am on an Intel Mac, using the latest Flash Player
plug-in, and am having this problem in both Firefox 2.0.0.11 and in
Safari 2.0.4.
I'm guessing that the problem lies in how I have encoded the
.swfs into the web page? Hoping someone has a solution, or at least
a good suggestion!

Just to clarify for anyone else who stumbles across this -
the extra .swf files (which contain the skin for the player) need
to be in the same directory as the .html doc which is displaying
the video .swf. Hope that helps someone else!

HT203433 Having an issue with my IPad and IPhone trying to update my Apps from the Apps store?

I am having a problem with my IPad and Iphone trying to do My Apps updates via the App Store. I see the # of 4 updates in red showing, but when i try to do the updates by hitting the "update button" I get an error message saying I can not connect to the iTunes store although I am signed in already?
Anyone had the same problem?

I'm not aware of any viruses or malware for iOS devices (except for jailbroken devices), but it might be a software bug.
Try closing all apps via the taskbar and then do another a reset and see if that helps. To close all app : from the home screen (i.e. not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Reset as before i.e. press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I'm having problems with Flash Videos (Youtube and ESPN)

I have been having this problem for the last couple of days now and it is really annoying. Whenever I watch a flash video like on youtube or espn my computer freezes up and the audio will make a loud buzzing sound. I have attached a video with the post so you can see what happens. I don't have problems with anything else except this. I also get this error no matter what browser I use. I have system restored my PC as far as I can go, and I've ran a ton of scans and driver update checks and nothing seems to work.

The last really supported Flash for PPC was 10.1.102.64, but if it's for like Facebook or such, people have been fooling FB to think they have a leter version installed.

(If you are running a PPC Mac with Flash Player 10.1.102.64 and are having problems with watching videos on FaceBook or other sites, contributor Texas Mac Man suggests the following solution which fools the site into thinking that you are running the latest version:)
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.

Some websites have an internal mute or volume setting. If that's not the issue, see below.
From the Safari menu bar, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Close the window. Then select
           ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced ▹ Delete All...
In the sheet that opens, check the box marked
          Delete All Site Data and Settings
then click Delete Data. Close the preference pane.
