i have already closed wifi&location&bluetooth&background app; i've been using iphone for a long time
and there wasnt a battary problem 3 day ago,
i could use the phone all day after i charged the phone at night and it is a normal using time for iphone
but last three days it is like a nightmare, because 3-4 hours later phone is down even charge is fulled

Go to: Safari Preferences... and select the General tab.
1. Check to make sure that "New windows open with: Homepage"
2. Then if it still opens blank...? Select the Homepage page that you want Safari to open on and click the "Set to Current Page" button.

I downloaded the combo update 10.7.3 & it helped for about a day... yesterday I still had to manually reset the connection but now it's resorting back to disconnectiong w/o fully going into sleep mode first. Sorry to say this is a major lemon. Help!

Seems unfair... I thought I was probalby having a router problem... got a new router this week. Thst's when we realized we have a computer problem. My next door nieghbor got zero sleep staying up all night while trying to help us figure out what the problem could be. He said if it were him he would have returned the iMac / Lion. Be sure that the battery is fully charge then try the following:
Hit the ESC key after power on to bring up the Start up Menu and then select System Diagnostics (F2). Now run the battery test.
If the battery is OK then try the below suggestion:
Go to the Control Panel ----> Power Options and then select the HP Power Manager on the left column. You can then select one of the power plans and see the effects on battery life.
Depending on the power plan selected and what applications your are running, you may not get more than one hour on battery.

Is anyone else having battery problems?

I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 7 and up until about a week ago, life was perfect. My battery would last all day with normal usage and I would not have an issue. For the past week I have been having the problem of I would unplug it to leave for the day and about 15 min down the road it would already be at 85% and I haven't even touched it!!!
I don't have background apps refreshing and I don't have anything running on locations services that I don't absolutely need. WiFi is off and bluetooth is used in my car, but like i said, i've had that set up since I bought the phone and it's never been an issue.
The only difference i have noticed in my usuage is I am using iMessage more and more and people switch over to iPhones. But like i said I dropped about 15% battery life in roughly 15 minutes.
Is this a known apple issue with this latest update? I know some other updates had this issue.
Please help!

For me, it has battery drain since updating. Before I went to bed last night I charged the phone to 100%. When I woke up this morning, it was sitting at 81%.

Apple are working on it, many people have been having this probleme mainly on 4 an 4s. All you can do is wait for an upgrade, check this link for better battery life http://www.apple.com/batteries/iphone.html or pick up a mophie juice pack.

UDF for last day of week/month

Input is a Date(For example: 2010/03/12) in String format.
I need to extract the last day of that week and return it as a string output.
For example if input is 2010/03/12 and thatu2019s a Thursday my output should be 2010/03/14 i.e Saturdayu2019s date.
Similarly I need to extract last day of month too.

Are you having battery problems on iOS 6 (iPhone 4S)

Hello fellow Apple device users. Ever since I updated to iOS 6 my iPhone 4S's batery took a blow. The phone is barely a month old. On iOS 5.1.1 I had terrific battery life with battery usage being around 6hours and 30minutes average. Notifiactions, 3G, nice brightness (3 fourths of the bar). I had nearly 12 hours of standby as well. I take care of my battery (not always leaving the phone plugged up, I let the battery go down to 0% quite often (twice a week) and give it a full 100% charge. But now I only get like 4hours and 30 minutes of usage and 10 hours of standby.
Here are my current settings (same as on iOS 5.1.1)
I turned off diagnostics.
Service location is activated for only apps that I need it for, Siri, Maps, Find my Phone
3G and iCloud activated (mail, reminders, find my phone, contacts)
Notifications activated for apps that I want (about 7 apps in the notification center)
Is anyone having these battery problems as well? I just lost 10% with 32 minutes of usage ( read my messages, twitter timeline) and only 40 minutes of standby.
Any solutions?

Is there any standard/business content variable available for this?
I have found one similar variable , but its for the posting date.

l_date_from = sy-datum.
       l_date_from+6(2) = '01'.
       l_date_from = l_date_from - 1.
       l_s_range-sign = 'I'.
       l_s_range-opt = 'EQ'.
       l_s_range-low = l_date_from.
       l_s_range-high = space.
       APPEND l_s_range TO e_t_range.
You can modify based on your specific requirement.

plus i system.out the variable "server" with your suggestion.... it gives out the correct ip of the machines to be looked up!

Dynamic Variable for last day of month

Hi all,
I have created one report where in YTD is calculated based on stsyem date. NOw in this report the cal month is in row thus displaying data month wise. But i need one key figure which giving the last day vaue of every month that are displayed in YTD i.e this is based on cal day. Thus the report layout is as follows:
if report is run in mar 2007 then it should display:
calmonth            key figure due amount
Jan 07                this should show due value on last day of jan 07 (i.e 31st jan 07)
Feb 07               this should show due value on last day of feb 07 (i.e 28th feb 07)
Mar 07               this should show due value on last day of mar 07(i.e 31st mar 07)
customer exit variable can give me only one value at a time. How can I make it dynamic to take last day value of every month as per cal month. Could anybody explain me if worked on any such issue.

Hi,
We can assign multiple single values to the customer exit.
So in the Query take CALMONTH in rows.
And take your KF in column with Customer exit variable restriction on CALDAY.
So in the code of this Cusotmer exit varible, from the Current date find out the year of the current date and then assign those 12 required days to this variable.

Anybody provide me the single select statement which should result the last day of the last quarter and last day of current quarter?
Ex: Select last date of the last quarter,last day of current quarter from XYZ(DUAL...)

Here's one way:
SELECT               TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'Q') - 1     AS prev_qtr_end
,     ADD_MONTHS ( TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'Q') - 1
             , 3
             )                    AS this_qtr_end
FROM    dual;TRUNC (dt, 'Q') returns the first day of the quarter containing dt.
Subtract one day from that, and you have the last day of the previous quarter.
Add 3 months to that, and you have the last day of the current quarter. ADD_MONTHS (dt, n) will always return the last day of a month if its first argument, dt, is the last day of a month.
