I'm having problems pairing my iPhone 5 with my Pioneer DEH6400BT's Bluetooth

I have a Pioneer DEH6400BT which I've been using for more than a year with no problem. I just upgraded my phone from an iPhone 4 to an iPhone 5, but this one is not willing to connect via Bluetooth. When I try to pair it, it gives me an error that says to check if both devices are ready to pair. I have checked on the radios manual and it says that I just need to select it from the iphone menu and it will be paired.
Can you guys help me with this?
Thanks!

What happens when you try? Do you have Outlook selected in iTunes?
