I'm having problems with my adesso cybertablet when connected to my new Windows 8 laptop.

Hello! I'm an artist and I just updated from Windows Vista to Windows 8. When I installed my Adesso Cybertablet...Things were weird. When I click, there's a little ring that shows up. Also, when I draw, the screen randomly drags up or down. How do I stop
this? It makes it super complicated and annoying to draw. Also, the pressure won't work for some reason. Even though it's set in the pen settings.
Please help! I can't find help any where since most people have Wacom. And the assistance for Wacom isn't the same as Addesso!

Please try to install the Adesso Cybertablet in another computer, if the issue still exists, it is recommended to contact the Adesso support。

I suspect you are attempting to burn an HD DVD, which will not play on a DVD player...
But if you provide more details such as the settings you are applying in Compressor, then we would be able to provide you more accurate information.
How are you adding the files to Compressor?
In FCP, what are your footage properties (command-9) and sequence settings (command-0)

You do not use a WEP password but wpa/wpa2 on router and equipment.
All equipment connects to WiFi, but for your iPad.
Even with all other equipment WiFi off, you cannot connect your iPad.
Your iPad connects to other WiFi nets correctly.
All resets etc done on iPad and Router.
Still I am not sure it is your router for sure, frustrating...
I want to test 2 other things:
1. in your iPad, set everything OFF in Settings/Cellular, turn off/then/on your WiFi, and see whether it will still not connect...
2. If that does not do it: disconnect the router as well as the modem from the power, for 15 seconds, then reconnect the modem, let it fully start, then reconnect the routet let it fully start, turn of your WiFi in iPad, then on, and see whether it will connect.

Hey Silverdemon, sounds like a short, most likely in the headphones. Try a different set of headphones with this iPod or try the headphones with a different device. If the problem stops with your iPod or it moves to another device, then replace the headphones. If within 1 year of date of purchase Apple will replace the headphones for free if problem is a defect, not abuse. If the problem continues with a different set of headphones, check the port for damage and foreign debris. If you note debris, attempt to remove it, if damage noted contact Apple and set up an appointment to have it evaluated. if nothing appears wrong, try plugging / unplugging to jack about 12 times maybe corrosion on the contacts if so that should clean it. Next thing to try reset your iPod. After that try restore from backup. Last resort, restore to new. Just make sure you make a full backup to your computer before you restore so no data is lost. If nothing works, contact Apple and set up an appointment to have your iPod evaluated. Good luck, Cheers.

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Hope my iPod stays healthy, if it doesnt its a warrenty job me thinks any way thanks again

Thanks for your message. You can custom set pages but there are no preset of page sizes like A4, A3, ect. I cannot click the size preference, nothing comes up

I am having problems with the overdrive app. I am only allowed to read about twenty pages of a book and then it tries to load more pages but does not. I have reinstalled the app but have the same problem. Any ideas.

Error Message reads: "could not convert the image to 8 bit/channel because of a problem using the adobe color engine.
Never had this problem before, just recently started happening! I've tried multiply files since and some work, some don't, can't work out why!? thought it might be due to a large file size?...any suggestions?

That would require much more info about your files, your system and the version of PS you are using. Presumably there is some color profile issue at play here.

Is anyone having problems with InDesign CC 'save' when UTC auto activation is on?

We recently switched to Creative Cloud and I've been having troubles with saving out of InDesign CC when I have the Universal Type Client 'auto activation' plug-in turned on. It acts like it is saving the InDesign file, but afterwards, when I try to close the file it still asks if I'd like to save it, and no matter how many times I say yes (and go through the motions of saving) it never actually saves the file. Once the auto activation plug-in is turned off I am able to save normally with no problems, other than having to manually activate fonts for every file I open.
Both versions of InDesign CC (v 9.2) and the the plug-in (v 4.0.2.3) are up to date. I have also manually reset the InDesign Defaults and InDesign SavedData preferences. Still have the problem. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any suggestions I haven't yet tried?

Yes, sometimes the Undo/Redo was also disabled, but at the time we weren’t sure if that was related to the ’Save' issues or not. It seems to be sporadic. If InDesign is restarted sometimes the Undo/Redo will be operational again, but later may suddenly decide to stop working. We haven’t determined any sort of pattern yet.
Re: the ‘Save’ issue…Since my initial posting we have determined that by unchecking the UTC Auto Activate preference for “embedded objects” we are able to once again save files. However, if we do have the 'auto activate for embedded files’ checked, the ‘save’ operation is disabled only for ‘some' files that we open, but not necessarily for all files.

This is an indication that Lightroom is not connected to your subscription. Verify that your are logged into the Creative Cloud desktop app, or try logging out and back in again to refresh your subscription information: Sign out, Sign in | Creative Cloud Desktop app.
Also, verify that your student subscription is still current and active.

Firefox is having problems with Washington Gas web site connection for online bill payments

when I try to log on to WashGas homepage and/or its login page, a pop up window appears saying that firefox cannot certify authenticity on my connection as if there could be a problem with server connection, fraud ie a third party is trying to log in with my identity and/or other. i have a blackberry 9300 3g and i cant seem to be able to download the new device software (os6) since i have os5 in my device already. i have tried downloading using the desktop software but i keep on recieving errors about my internet connection. there is nothing wrong with my internet connection so far. i also recieved a download link from a member of this board as a solution but the link is for OS5 and not the new link OS6. can somebody help provide another solution by way of download link to OS 6 instead of OS 5 or any other solution deemed fit by the one providing the solution.
