I'm having problems with my headphones or the jack!
When I try and plug my headphone In their all static and one side works but the other one is very low and static! I have tried like 3 different headphone and they all do the same thing, but when I play music out loud without the headphones it sounds fine. Can somebody let me know what's wrong?
My boss is having the same problem with his iPhone. When I press the volume buttons on the side, the bell icon appears with the label "ringer" on top but no volume dots underneath. Pessing the buttons does not increase the volume as it should. Mute switch is functioning properly. When I mute the phone, the bell icon with no label appears with the slash through it. When I unmute, the bell icon with no label appears and the volume dots under the bell indicating how much volume. Still incoming text messages and emails only vibrate.
By the way razmee209, the link you provided does not provide any help with this issue.

Am I the only one having problems with ringer volume since the update?
Am I the only one having problems with ringer volume since the update?? I'm hard of hearing and before updating to IOS7 I could hear my alarm and ringer just fine. Volume is turned up all the way and I've chosen the loudest sounds I could and still having a difficult time hearing.
Annie Hall is available on DVD only.
It is not available for streaming and I believe movies available for streaming are the only movies available with the Netflix app on an iOS device. -

It is very unusual that neither phone is working with the new earpods.
Have you tried a different headphone just to see if the issue is with the earpods or the iPhones?

iPhone: Can't hear through the receiver or speakers
Symptoms
When someone calls, I can't hear them through the receiver or speaker phone, and I can't hear music through the speaker. I also can't be heard by someone who is calling me.
Note: iPhone has one speaker, which is adjacent to the dock connector. On iPhone 4 or later models, the speaker is to the right of the dock connector. On earlier iPhone models, the speaker is to the left of the dock connector.
Resolution
Verify that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack, including headsets, headphones, or adapters.
Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is not switched to silent.
While on the Home screen, adjust the volume buttons. If you see the icon below, indicating that headphones are attached, there may be debris or an object lodged in the headset jack:
Check the headset jack. If there is an object lodged in the headset jack that is not easily removed, have the iPhone serviced to remove object.
For Original iPhone: If there is light debris, such as lint, in the headset jack, try connecting a pair of headphones to the headset jack and then remove the headphones. Repeat this several times to remove the debris.
If you have installed a protective film on the display, either ensure that the receiver is not covered or remove the film completely.
Check the receiver mesh (which is on the top front of the device, above the display). If it appears blocked, use a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush to carefully and gently brush away any debris.
If you have paired with a Bluetooth headset that is nearby, either use the headset or turn Bluetooth off (chooseSettings > General > Bluetooth).
Restart the iPhone.
If restarting the iPhone doesn't resolve the issue, try restoring the device.
If the issue persists, go to the Service Answer Center - iPhone for information on service.

I have been using FaceTime regularly over the past year or so and suddenly it has stopped working. It seems to dial up and says its connecting and then just switches off. I have a number of other friends who are also having problems with this and also on their iPhones. Does anyone have an answer to this problem?

Having problems with front row (and the opticle drive)
I bought my macbook three days ago, and I'm already having problems. First off, I transfered music from my user profile on my old iMac G5 to the macbook via data DVD. My music collection had some purchaces from the itunes store, so I had to go through the authorization thing, and I can now play them just fine in the iTunes library, but the problem is, if I try to use the front row program to play my purchaced music, I get the message saying that I have to authorize it first. What the ****? Does anybody else have this problem? Also, like many other macbook users, I'm having problems with the opticle drive, such as getting cds to be recognized and other things of that nature.
I noticed that this problem started after I tried to use a software to unlock my drive's region...
I believe this is the problem. The VLC Media Player will usually play DVDs from other regions without changing the settings on your optical drive. You may need to reset your optical drive's firmware back to the original setting, make sure you have the region set for the one you'd prefer to use the most and then use VLC to play the other DVDs.

P.S. After two years in the Front Row forum, I'm not sure I've ever heard of anyone playing HDDVD_TS folders with Front Row. I'm not saying it won't work, but I'm not sure it's really supported either. I do have DVD Studio Pro myself, but I'll have friends or family staying with me for nearly the next month, so my evenings and weekends will be a bit full to try making one up for testing... -
I am having a problem with facebook notifications. The sound doesn't work but appears as a banner. I've tried everything but restoring the phone. Is this a phone problem or an app problem? Has anybody experienced this problem and were they able to correct it?

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Hope my iPod stays healthy, if it doesnt its a warrenty job me thinks any way thanks again -
I am having trouble with video playback from the Internet such as you tube. What's up?
Your video playback will also depend on your net speed. If you have slow internet, you will stream video slow. If your video stops and starts, you can try pausing it for a minute or so and then try to watch. Let more of it buffer before you try to watch.
Sometimes your connection is so slow you literally play faster than it buffers, which means it stops and stutters continually -
MY keyboard has been giving me trouble since I updated the iOS 8.3. It stutter stops while I'm texting, if I keep trying to type it may eventually catch up, but also drops a period if I keep hitting the space bar because the cursor isn't moving. Yet another problem with an update. This has been the worst year to own an apple product!

You know, I was thinking if I went ahead and just created a new account, then shipped all my Home folder under the new account and used chown to fix the ownership details, then most likely the problems of my current account would be transferred to the new one.
How about skipping all .plist files and other preferences? What if I only transferred my actual work documents from all software that I use, plus emails and what have you? Would that tend to minimize the chances of problems re-manifesting themselves in the new environment? -

From your description of the problem, it sounds like you have a hardware/camera defect. My recommendation is to return your imac to where-ever you bought it, and have them deal with, or replace your computer with one that functions as it is supposed to. You should not have to suffer with this situation on a new computer, although it does sometimes happen.

Is anyone else having problems with FF v29 where the bookmarks toolbar goes blank?
In the new version 29, after opening FF, closing it and then re-opening, most of the time, the bookmarks toolbar goes blank, even though the option to show it is checked. Turning on the menu brings it back or unchecking it and checking it again brings it back. Also, when this happens, the menu icon on the far right will not display any options. This is happening for me on OSX Mavericks, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
