I'm having the worst time playing music via airplay

...to my airport express. It keeps cutting out and itunes keeps disconnecting, despite the fact that the base station is close by and the signal is strong. I encounter similar connection when using itunes on my macbook pro, or any app with airplay capability on my iphone. I have an Apple TV on the same network in a different room, which works much better. Any ideas?

Having the WORST time exporting to html

Im designing a site in fireworks. www.thegoyslife.com/thegoysgirlwonder. All was well until I needed to add pages. When I export to html, I attempt to place the images slices in a seperate folder from the index images.
Fire works WILL NOT LET ME EDIT THE SUBFOLDER, it puts all the images in one folder. Therefore if one page looks okay, the other doesnt. -_-. I thought to name the slices manually but dont know if that is an option. aaaaaaaargh!

Ideally, you should be creating the images for your pages in Fireworks, and the HTML for the pages with Dreamweaver. It is common practice to have all the images for a site in a single "assets" folder. Are you exporting the pages from Fireworks one at a time or all together?

Skipping when playing music via AirPlay from iPad to pioneer avr.

I'm having skipping issues when trying to AirPlay music from the iPad to pioneer avr using AT&T uverse 2wire router/modem.
Any advice as to the cause? I have a sinking suspicion that it's the uverse router. By the way, I have the fastest Internet option that AT&T is offering.

Also, This only seems to happen when using the iPad2. When I use my iPhone the skipping doesn't occur.

Suspending the Screen while playing music...

I noticed while playing music for long periods of time this bad boy gets hot. So I tried suspending the screen while playing music. The screen shut off but the music still plays ;0) (go apple). So now I shut the screen off when playing music and that seems to help the battery life as well as the heat it puts off.

I have been looking for an answer for it myself and here are the opons :
1.having an external diplay will disable slep mode with close lid.
2.there are programs that will force it to not go to sleep (sleepless,insomnia ) - risky !!!
3.turn off the screen (by dim all the way) and keep it almost closed ....
i know non of the above are perfect for you and its realy nice to have it closed when not in use but apple will not give you service if you use the programs and it will overheat.....so dont. please,dont.

My ipod 4g has been working fine for the last 2 years until now, it wont charge or connect to itunes what so ever. it will connect to the dock and play music but just wont charge on any charger, computer,cord,anything. its making me so frustrated

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

Please test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.

Disconnect all USB 3 devices. If you don't know which are USB 3, disconnect all USB devices except keyboard and mouse.

I did not hear them state the feature requirements directly in the streaming even but there are statements on the Apple website that clearly say that an iPhone is necessary. I'm guessing that other than Bluetooth for pairing with the iPhone, it's just not technically possible to fit any other radios such as WiFi or LTE into that form factor or battery capacity. I don't even remember them mentioning if it had a speaker or could pair directly with bluetooth headphones.
While I'm hoping that the watch has a reasonable stand-alone feature set, they didn't make it clear what exactly it can and can't do without an iPhone nearby. I also hope that they communicate this better in the coming days.

I had the same problem and did a reboot, for me that solved the problem.
How to reboot your iPhone:
1. Hold down the Home button (that’s the big button in the lower front) and the Sleep / Wake button (that’s the little button on the top right) down.
2. Keep holding until you see the screen go black and then the Apple logo appear.
3. Voila! Your iPhone has been rebooted. Resume your blissful life and forget that anything bad happened with your iPhone.

Issue with Ford Sync (Microsoft Sync) & iPhone 4--Playing Music via USB

I have a 2011 Ford Flex and and iPhone 4. The Sync system will not play music via the USB connection. It is quite temperamental with the bluetooth as well. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Well I have a 2010 Fusion with Sync and an iPhone 4. Have had various issues getting things to work right all the time. I'm not sure if Sync in the 2011's is much different.
When you say it doesn't play music, what does it do when you give it the USB command? Does the iPhone charge when plugged into the USB port? If the phone charges and it seems to let you select USB but doesn't play any music, on your iPhone, go to iPod and you may see an accessory connected screen. Touch the icon next to SYNC and you will see SYNC and doc connector listed. Touch doc connector and see if the music is heard.
If you haven't already register at www.syncmyride.com you will find some community forums there with hints/steps on getting Sync and iPhone to work properly.
Generally though, there have been a lot of issues with SYNC and Apple devices.

Id like to use Airport Express as a repeater and a client for playing music via Airtunes simultaneously. Is this possible anyhow? I do only have two choices using the airport-assistant: 1st Connecting to use Airtunes and bonjour printer; 2nd using as a repeater. This can´t be everything!

Regardless if you configure the AirPort Express (AX) to join a wireless network or as part of a WDS, both Airtunes (music streaming) and wireless printing are available.

This will not work.
The iPhone supports bluetooth headsets and hands free car kits which allow you to make calls over bluetooth. It does not support stereo over bluetooth(A2DP.)
