I'm having trouble downloading paid apps on my iPad mini.

Whenever I try to download a paid app, an error pops up saying to check support.
What I want to know is how I can fix this error.

If you are getting a message to contact iTunes Support then you can do so via this link and ask them why the message is appearing (we are fellow users here on these forums, we won't know why) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

If you can you can choose the None option and only put the card info in when you want to buy something. It also makes your account less suceptable to hackers as there is nothing that they can use to buy anything.

  • TS3274 Having trouble transfer photos from iphoto to ipad mini.  Any suggestions?

Having trouble transfer photos from iphoto to ipad mini.  Any suggestions?

What problems are you having ? You should be able to sync photos by connecting and selecting your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders (or iPhoto albums/events) to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.

  • I can't download an app on my ipad mini

One of my app on my ipad mini 2 suddenly disappeared.  I went to App Store and then to Purchased and found that the 'open' icon has turned to a cloud with an arrow pointing down.  I touched the symbol, signed in and got this message: "You've alredy purchase this, so it will be downloaded now at no additional charge." But nothing happened after that. I want this app back on my ipad.  What should I do?

If it says it was downloaded, it probably was.   It is either restricted or hiding with its new and unfamiliar icon.
You didn't say what App.   Try checking settings, general restrictions.   Turn off any restriction that may prevent access to that app.
Use the search on the iPad to find the app.

  • I download an app in my ipad mini and it doesn´t show on the screen

    why is this happening?

    Hi Lalassantos,
If you are having issues seeing your purchased app on your iPad, you may want to try manually redownloading it. You may find the following article helpful:

  • HT1414 I cannot download game apps from my ipad mini.

My ipad mini has started to just shut down while I am on facebook, or playing a game.  It just freezes then shuts down.  Sometime it does this when I try to go to settings.  I have reset it, I have restored it and still having the same issues.  Now it isn't allowing me to download apps.  What else can I try?

OK. Are we supposed to just start guessing? How about providing some details and give us a starting point. What happens when you try?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
When your account becomes disabled, Apple provides the following recommendation:
"This message means that someone tried and failed to sign in to your account multiple times. The Apple ID system disables the account to prevent unauthorized people from gaining access to your information. You need to reset your password, following the instructions at the Apple ID website".
Visit iForgot.com and follow the instructions there.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support

  • I am having trouble syncing new songs to my ipad mini.  I tunes says 151 are on the ipad yet only 120 are on the actual ipad.

I am having trouble syncing my ipad mini with itunes.  I have done it before and no problem.  Now it lists that I have 151 songs on my ipad but there are only 120 on the actual ipad. The new playlists I tried to add are not on it.  Am I missing a step.

That alone does not mean the movies are in an iPad compatible format either.
    Copied from this link.
    http://www.apple.com/ipad/specs/
Video formats supported: H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second, Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format.
Try this. With one of these videos selected in iTunes, at the iTunes menu bar go to Advanced and select Create iPad or Apple TV version. This will duplicate the selected video in an iPad compatible version. Select this version to be transferred to your iPad to see if this makes any difference.

  • Having trouble downloading CC apps

I have a MBP from early 2011 and just upgraded the OS to the latest 10.9.1 and signed up for CC.
However, after downloading Creative Cloud app onto my desktop, I haven't been able to add any apps onto my computer
I see a spinning wheel on the App page inside Creative Cloud app and no apps ever shows up
Did someone else experience the same thing? How did you make it work?? In the mean time, I'm just using my CS5...

Thanks. That's where I've gone and clicking the download link basically opens up Creative Cloud app which doesn't do anything after opening Creative Cloud app on my desktop (all I see is a spinning wheel on the app screen...)

  • Anyone else having trouble with the app store on iPad today?

The app stor app is malfunctioning. Frozen in categories, wouldn't download updates. I shut my iPad down and tried again, synced it with my computer. Same result.

Did you try quitting the App? Double tap the home button to get to the recent apps at the bottom. Tap and hold down on the App Store icon until it wiggles, tap the minus sign to close the app and then tap the screen above the task bar to return to the home screen
Launch the App Store again and see if it works ok.

  • I am still having problems downloading from App Store on iPad Air

I Am unable to download apps on iPad Air with the current iOS 8.1 system . Has anyone got any helpful tips

Read this whole message before doing anything.
    Back up all data.
Quit the App Store application if it’s running.
    Step 1
Hold down the option key and select
    Go ▹ Library
from the Finder menu bar. Delete the following items from the Library folder (some may not exist):
    Caches/com.apple.appstore
Leave the Library folder open. Try the App Store again. If it works now, stop here. Close the Library folder.
    Step 2
If you still have problems, quit again. Go back to the Finder and move the following item from the open Library folder to the Desktop:
    Cookies/com.apple.appstore.plist
    Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist
Test. If the App Store now works, delete the files you moved to the Desktop. Otherwise, quit again. Put back the files you moved, overwriting the newer ones that may have been created in their place, and continue.
    Step 3
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below to select it:
    test -d $TMPDIR../C/com.apple.appstore && rm -r $_
Drag or copy and paste the selected line — do not type it — into the Terminal window. You should get a new line ending in a dollar sign ("$"). Quit Terminal.
Test. If the issue is still not resolved, post again.

  • I am having trouble with purchasing apps on my iPad, it is continuously giving me a message saying unable to complete purchase. What's happening and how do I fix it?

The App Store isn't allowing me to purchase apps and is coming up with a message saying "your purchase could not be completed" what's happening and how can I fix it?

Could be any number of things. What user trobleshooting have you tried? Restart (power off/on) reset, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. See if it works after the phone restarts. Next is a restore from a backup (make sure you made a current one), then restore as a new device, which deletes all data from your device. If it doesn't work after all that, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar at the local Apple store, it is probably a hardware issue.
I have seen something similar which is generally diagnosed as a hardware issue.
