    I am able to log into my account from the web (so I could get to forums). However, when I try to log in from the Elements 10 application, I enter the same login information and a dialog box says "signing in" with a "barber-pole" type action bar running.     When you log in from the web you are logging into Adobe Revel these days. PSE 10 understands nothing about Revel, which didn't exist when it was created. If you want to use Revel now that photoshop.com is gone, you must use a web browser, or, if you have a Mac, the free app from the App Store, not PSE 10 itself.

    I completely understand what is happening. I know that you are connected to the Internet. I made the suggestion because I have seen it work in similar circumstances. The Apple iTunes servers can be a bit fussy about things and sometimes rebooting the router clears up this miscommunication between iTunes and your network.
    Have you tried signing into your account and then try to sync again. Go to Store>View Account. You will have to enter your password. Then try to sync again. Or try signing out completely in Store>Sign out. Quit iTunes, sign in again and then try to sync again.
    Sometimes refreshing settings will help clear up weird problems.

    I have got the same problem. I am  using windows 8.1, latest version of iTunes, Symantec NIS.  My internet connection is working.
    My apple Id and my password are correct since they work on my iPad and on my iPhone.
    message is "ware sorry.we cannot complete your request on the itunes store at this time."   And in smaller letters : "try again later". Which i did many times over several days.  Just does not work.

    I have Mac Book Pro 10.8.4 and Safari 6.0.5. Ever since the most recent update, I have trouble logging into secure sites like Yahoo! mail, eBay to name a few. The login boxes are active but nothing happens when I hit the enter or signin button. It just sits there, it isn't hanging or anything like that, it's as if I'd hit any other place on the page where one wouldn't expect anything to happen. I can and do refresh the page, approach from a different "angle" (for lack of a better term, say from "sign in" instead of "mail" for example) and try again. Sometimes this is enough and sometimes it takes several attempts to get it to recognise my hitting the button. I didn't have trouble prior to this most recent update. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

    This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, or by corruption of certain system caches. 
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
    Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and  Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

    I get caught in a loop when trying to log into my account in iTunes and redeeming cards. When i enter my password i get stuck in a loop where i kept getting asked for it over and over again. The weird thing is intermittently - maybe after 20 or 30 times it lets me redeem/in. But then it has the same problem again... I tried chat and it kept dropping out. Any help would be very welcome.

    Your university runs Luminis. CPIP is part of the single sign on between Luminis -- your school's portal -- and an external system. However, sometimes things can go awry. This is purely an issue between the portal and the external system -- not your browser. As a Luminis admin, my advice to you is to escalate this to your school's help desk.

    Some web pages did not load correctly. (on Imac). Deleted Firefox and moved Profile to another drive to backup.
    Downloaded new Firefox. When I try to install, I keep getting this message-"A copy of Firefox is already open. Only one copy of Firefox can be open at a time."
    I went in and searched for all occurrences of Firefox or Mozilla and deleted.
    It will still not load.

    I cannot get Firefox to run now. I backed up my Profile to another drive. Cannot create a new one as Firefox will not run. It says there is another copy running. However, I have deleted all Firefox and Mozilla files and downloaded new. When I try to run it, I get the message to close Firefox as two cannot run at once.
    I did create a new Mac account logon and can run Firefox there, so something in the other account is showing Firefox is running.
    I also checked in ACTIVITY MONITOR and in SETUP and there is no Firefox or Mozilla running.
    So, where can this bug be hiding????

    Hi, nirsa. When did you encounter this issue? Which type of connection did you use? 
    Do you have the latest software installed? Does your phone set with the correct date and time? This code observed when the Data Sense settings are restricting the internet usage. Make sure that you're not reaching your data limit. To check it, from the Start screen, swipe left to the app list and start Data Senseapp > Switch Restrict background data usage and/or Restrict background data usage when roaming to Off.

    You can't sign into icloud.com using Safari on your iPad, if that's what you tried to do.  You have to use your computer browser.

    Have you just created the Apple ID? If so it's possible you may need to activate it after receiving an email? Have you checked for an activation email? I can't be sure if it does send one or not as did mine ages ago.
