I'm having trouble taking a landscape with the Camera Fill Feature. What am I doing wrong?
The application interface rotates to a landscape orientation automatically when using the Camera Fill feature, simply holding the phone itself in a horizontal orientation before entering the Camera Fill mode gives the most predictable results.
Double check all your audio settings.
System Preferences --> Sound --> Input should be set to your audio interface.
GB --> Preferences --> Audio/MIDI --> Input should be set to your audio interface.
With your track selected, open the Track Info pane, and select the Edit tab. Under input make sure that Mono 1 or 2 is selected (which number will depend on which input you plugged your bass cable into).

You haven't opened an account with that Apple ID in iTunes. Open iTunes and log in. A dialog will appear in which you need to enter your Apple ID and/or password. Below it you should see a link for creating a new account. Click on that link to get started.

How exactly are you doing this?
When I cut out a part of an audio region, then drag the remaining parts together, so they are touching, the track will skip the cut out section when playing the file. Also, if I select the remaining parts of the region and use the command "Edit > join regions". This will create a new audio file with the cut out part deleted.

I just got an Ipod Classic recently and downloaded Itunes. Got my music on my Ipod. My husband just got an Ipod Touch. I followed the directions on how to create a 2nd library and was able to load his music onto his Ipod. My problem is now I can not find my original library. I did what the directions said about holding down the shift key while opening Itunes and it still goes to the 2nd library that I created. How do i get my original library to come up? I tried several times with the same results. Please let me know what I need to do to be able to get into either library. Thank You.
Does the original library file still exist on the computer? Hopefully when creating the new library it was done in a seperate folder as I do not believe iTunes allows for two library files in the same location.

I got a new computer and my IPOD will not sync with the new computer.....I have a ITUNES account on the new computer and is downloading music just fine but it will not sync to the IPOD....What should I do to sync my IPOD? thanks
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.
Attempts to sync an iDevice to a new computer will remove all content from the device and replace it with content from the new, empty library. -
is anyone else having trouble setting up messages with the new mountain lion software? I keep getting a notification that i cant sign in and it is saying, check network connection and try again, but i have full wifi bars, thanks, Justin

I have an older Macbook pro with a dvi output and I want to watch movies on my tv. I have a dvi to hdmi cable but the only image I get on my TV is my desktop background. None of my movie players with appear on the TV screen. What am I doing wrong?

Open System Preferences > Displays > select the window for you external monitor > click on the Arrangement tab and check the box next to Mirror Displays. It may be slightly different in Lion, but the idea is the same. -
I am trying to save a photoshop CS6 psd file to jpg and get an option jpg, jpg2000 or jpg stereo, I choose jpg and then Mac 256 colours, normal or interlaced. I just want regular jpg with a high resolution. What am I doing wrong? , never had this problem before. Help!!!
Your description of the issue is not clear:
What format, bit depth and color was your original file "from the net"? It sounds like it was a Color Indexed GIF, which would cause what you are describing.
In the Macintosh Finder, select said "net image" and do a Get Info on it (Command+i). When the Info box appears in the Finder, take a screen shot and upload it here by using the little camera icon in the Reply Editor in the forum's web interface.
If the image is a 256-color GIF, remember the rule: GIGO = garbage in, garbage out. -
I sign-in with my Apple ID to update my apps. Asks for my password. Type it in and it just takes me right back to the update screen. What an I doing wrong?

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...

Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID

Taking Photo's with the camera and adding as a contact photo
Using my new Palm Pre 2 and took a photo to add as a contact.
The process is simple enough to assign the photo taken to the contact, by lining up within the square and pressing Assign to contact.
However the end result just shows a blurred image of the enlarged photo.
Does anyone know how a picture taken with the camera can be set to view correctly as the contact?
Imported photo's work fine, but that defeats the object, i.e. you see a friend, take their photo but can't add it correctly to your contacts.

That's correct - there is only one camera on the TouchPad, and it was meant for video chatting. The camera app was added by HP as an afterthought when other Homebrew authors started writing their own "Camera" apps.

If you purchased them from the iTuens store, they are already in iCloud. All you would need to do is delete them from your device and you can redownload them again from iCloud in the future.

Having a variety of crashes with the new version of Firefox. There does not seem to be a pattern
Several things have happened since the installation of the latest version of FireFox:
1. Intermittent opening of the browser from the desktop.
a) Opens in safe mode no problem provided shift key is used.
b) Opens sometimes and remains open
i) Sometimes page switches cause the browser to close
ii) Sometimes page switches continue as expected
c) Opens then closes a few seconds later
2. Intermittent opening of project pages from BOINC
a) Sometimes opens and allows browsing of the science projects website
b) Opens then immediately closes
c) Opens and page switches cause the browser to close
There does not seem to be a discernible pattern to what is going to happen each time the browser is opened.
The only crash report I have was submitted November 2010. I am not aware of any crash reports that have been generated for the current problems on my system.

I tried your idea with the quote. Now, no matter what I type, I always get a set of options. But I cannot tell if that was enabled by the quote or if it was already going to do that, because now I don't need the quote to get a list of various options. The first, which I've always gotten is "message contains", but now I'm seeing subject suggestions and such.

I have an old IPad 2 and a new IPad. They are both registered to my name . I would like to leave the old one at home with my husband and call him on FaceTime when I travel. I have tried this at home with the two iPads and cannot seem to get it to work. Any ideas?

You'll want to have your husband sign up on the older iPad with his own Apple ID. First, on the old iPad, sign out of your Apple ID:
To sign out of your Apple ID
Go to Settings > FaceTime, tap your Apple ID, and select Sign Out.
Then, sign in with the other Apple ID, and that should work. If it doesn't work after having separate Apple IDs on each iPad, check out the following document where, towards the bottom, there is a "Troubleshooting FaceTime calls" section:

External monitor with external mouse and keyboard. what am I doing wrong?
I got a iBook G3 with 600 MHz , 640 RAM, running 10.4.10. I bought a external keyboard, mouse and got a free ViewSonic Monitor from school so I hoped that I would be able to use all of these while the lid of my computer was closed. I close it, wait a few seconds, press random keys on my external keyboard to wake it up and it at first appears that it works but then it just goes back to sleep after about 1 min at the most. If you could help me I'd appreciate it. THANKS!!!!
You aren't doing anything wrong; the iBook is supposed to sleep whenever you close it. It's designed to work that way, ostensibly so that it won't overheat.

Others have addressed the problem by simply darkening the display with the F1 key and leaving the iBook open an inch or so. -
Images with transparency display edge artefacts - What am I doing wrong, how can this be resolved

Using MUSE CC 2014
I need to place photoshop images of text (with transparency) over a full screen slide show but I'm getting edge artefacts around the lettering which looks, well frankly, horrible. I don't recall previous versions of MUSE being quite as bad as this, am I doing something wrong? Is there a trick to overcome these ugly artefacts?

I was dropping a pds file onto the stage. No other layers than image and transparent bg. I was scaling the image down in Muse which as I've discovered exaggerates the visibility of the image edge artefacts. After doing a bit of reading it appears this is a known problem with Adobe Muse, something to do with the algorithms Muse uses to scale images. I also think the colour of the layer contributed a little to the effect also.
Problem solved when I ditched the PSD route and instead imported the image SS as a PNG.

Why itunes doesnt sync album to artist
