Try a Reset - hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 15 seconds.

Unless the charge indicator has bee turned off you see the percentage charged in the top right of the screen.

Well now that we are all correct ... I am having the same problem (s)
My ipad 2 will not sync with icloud calendars.
iCloud on iPad shows:
correct iCloud account
Contacts and Calendars are turned on
1.8 gig avaialable in free icloud starage
iCloud backup turned on
my last iCloud back up was finished just minutes ago
go to ipad calendar app and only show one calendar ... Birthdays, which I have NO IDEA where that cam from.
The is a PLUS in the upper right, it is greyed out and no functional
I see Calendars as a "menu" item at the bottom of the screen, but can only edit my birthday calendar.
I see no way to add icloud calendars to my ipad calendars and everything seems to be set up.

Having trouble synching contacts from ipad and iphone to iMac

Hello, I have an iMac with Yosemite and an iPad and iPhone with iOS 8 that are all fully updated. I am having trouble getting all of my contacts to sync to my iMac. They sync between the devices fine. After a lot of searching around I found that my iMac doesn't show my outlook account as one of my internet accounts for contacts. I get my mail no problem from outlook (hotmail) on my iMac. But when I try to set up another internet account on my iMac it doesn't show outlook as a possibility. I don't know why my ipad an phone are using outlook for contacts but they are and I don't seem to be able to switch it up. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I don't know much about sim cards (being a Verizon user), but having an iPhone 4S, mysteriouly having a SIM card slot, I notices a button in Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars that said "import SIM contacts. I'm not sure how you get your contacts in a SIM card, but thats obviously how you import them onto your new iPhone.

Yes, I went to settings and turned wifi off. Thought at first I wasnt letting it set for a sec or two before shutting the iPad off. so now I wait like a minute or two before shutting the iPad down. didnt seem to help. You need to use IMAP so that your messages stay on the server so that both devices can download them.

What books could you have in Pages? Pages will read Pages files and Word files. It isn't compatible with PDF files. You can export as a PDF with Pages but you cannot read a PDF file using Pages.
Anyway, you don't necessarily need more space for iCloud storage. Any files that you have in Pages on your Mac can be moved to Pages on the iPad. So the answer to your question is that you need Pages on the iPad in order to see your Pages documents.

Hello mmadrid13. Does anything happen when you try to power on the notebook? Do you get any flashing lights? Does the charging port light up when the AC power is plugged in? Also, does the AC power adapter have an LED on it? If so, what is the color?
