Having trouble installing Creative Cloud, Error Code: A12E4

Hello, I am having trouble installing Creative Cloud Installer and I am getting an error code A12E4.
I am a Mac OS X User running 10.5.8 version.
I have enabled root options, disabled firewall, downloaded manually Application Manager 7 (which also gives error A12E4), renamed OOBE folder to OOBE.old and eventually unistalled and deleted everything but still getting this error.
Is there anything else I can do? I am really frustrated.

I have already seen this topic. I do not see any AAM Updates Notifier on Activity Monitor. I could not install Creative Cloud in the first place so it is not an option for me to reinstall it.
I have also used AdobeCreativeCloudCleaner Tool and removed Adobe Application Manager but still nothing.
What else could it be? Do I need to format my computer?

PS 12.0.4 Update Fails with Error Code: U44M1P7 - any fix?

... on XP Pro SP3. Download completes, and installation reaches 100% before the above error appears. No other Adobe products running at the time. Updated attempted twice with same result.
Can anyone advise on what this rather meaningless error code is telling me and how to fix it?

Hi Richard,
did You rename the Digimarc folder (Plugins/digimarc).
I did it to avoid to load this uneccessary plugin every time lauchning PS and that was the issue.
If not, have a look at the install logfile to figuer out the fault.

Anyone else haveing trouble with Creative Cloud not opening? All I get is the splash screen and the :loading: symbol that keeps going around and around---forever.

I am running Windows 8 on an i7 machine with 16 gigs of RAM. My internet connection is good---all other internet access opens just fine.

I may have stumbled upon something that could help. A type of "detour" around the problem.
I just started experiencing this problem a few days ago. Anytime I'd try to download a song/video/movie, I would get the message, "Unable to check for available downloads. The network connection was reset".
So, instead of selecting "Check for Available Downloads" under "Advanced" menu...
I logged into "My Account" page in itunes. If there are available downloads it comes up at the top of the page with the option button "Download Now". When I select that -- it downloads immediately.
Can't promise it will work every time. But it's worked for me so far. Good luck...

Turned out that I had to delete the password first before I could change it.
That's the first time I ever had to do that.
In the past it would just accept the password that I entered when asked for it.
Now I will remember - i hope! :)
