I'm having trouble with a default county on itunes. Its has me as Australia and wont let me to change to UK as it has given me a $30 credit. I cant use the $30 as it asks me to verify my payment details which I cant do as I dont have an Ozzy address

I wonder if it is something to do with gmail. as gmail has been asking to store emails on my local drive and I have been saying no as I was worried it might be a virus or something - maybe I have too many emails on the system. I just dont know. I am using Firefox in the meantime but feel frustrated as I dont know my way around as well and I have work to get on with!

I have a new Nikon D750 sitting on my desk and can't edit the photos with any adobe product? We are in full wedding season and am a little frustrated. Photo mechanics opens them right up to download them. I am using the Nikon software to convert them into tiffs. when is the camera raw update coming out. I am not the only photographer with this issue check out all the chatter about it.
This happens every single time a new camera comes out from one of the two big camera makers. Nikon and Canon do not send preproduction units to Adobe, so Adobe has to go out and buy a D750 or whatever from the store to test and profile it before they can update Lightroom. They can't get one earlier than you and I can. The profiling is quite an extensive operation. Other camera makers do send preproduction units, use dng, or do the profiling in-house and there you often get support right from release. If camera makers would finally embrace an open raw format such as dng, this whole problem would be gone but both Canon and Nikon seem to think they live in an upside-down world where their clients only use their software.
Usually the dead period only lasts a few weeks but it is frustrating nevertheless. My only advice is to not buy a new camera at the day of release and expect to have third parties to support it. You definitely should not be buying these cameras right away if your business depends on it. Aperture, Capture One, etc. have the exact same problem. No third party (read non-Nikon in this case) will support the camera from the release date. Some are quicker than other adding support. Adobe is somewhere in the middle of the pack in this respect. Nobody outside of Adobe knows when an update comes out. Could be tomorrow, could be a few more weeks or a month. They might jump straight to Lightroom 6 and never add direct support to LR 5. Sometimes they will first bring out a beta version of dng converter that will convert the new camera's nef files to dng, which will work fine in the current Lightroom before updating Lightroom itself. -

Probably a hardware problem. Call a Apple Support or take it to an Apple Store for evaluation.

Start by rebooting the iPad by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restart, ignoring the red slider if that appears. See if that helps.

My e-mails are coming in really or sometimes not at all until much later. I have a .me address that was switched to iCloud. It is this same way on all devices including iCloud.com.I'm having the same problem, except I'm not receiving ANY email (not even from businesses etc). This has been going on for a week now. I had not upgraded my OS, so that cannot be the cause. It was just suddenly not receiving emails. I can send, but cannot receive. I can log in to icloud.com but when I select MAIL, it will not load, and says application not availble. Today, I opened Mail Preferences and added a email account using my same email address ([email protected]) and it worked fine, gathered all my missing emails. But it was using the name iCloud instead of my name, and created a new mailbox for all the mail. I want to use my mailbox I've used for years...so I deleted it. It was just a test, but don't really know what was accomplished because my original email still does not receive mail.
Last week I had sent a msg to Apple Support about the problem, and got a reply...so I think they know there is a problem. Perhaps they just don't know what the solution is so will not acknowledge the issue yet.
I'm still waiting for a solution, too. Extremely inconvenient, most of us rely heavily on email. -

Those are two entirely different versions of the mac operating system. Snow Leopard is 10.6, and Mavericks is 10.9.
If you are really running 10.6, the specs for PSE require at least 10.7. If that's not the problem, more information, please, about just what you have and just what is going on. Incidentally, this is the user to user forum, so we have no access to any case number stuff. We're just other customers like you. -
i cant seem to find out what it is i put pro tools on it but when i went to delete the drivers there was nothing in the folder that indicated digidesignmidi was in there
You should find the driver in
<Name of your system hard drive>/Library/Audio/Midi Drivers
You might also find one in
<Name of your System Hard Drive>/Users/<Your user name>/Library/Audio/Midi Drivers
Replace anything in <...> with your systems actual info...
Also check the Midi Devices folder in each of the Audio folders.... -
Having trouble with new upgraded 7.01 iTunes
Since installation, my computer now is taking 3 days to download a tv series. It has triplicated all my music and my screen settings are completely screwed up. They are larger than life and I can't get them back to normal even when I go into the control panel and change the screen appearance, and reboot. Is there anyway to go back to the older version, since I keep getting an error message stating that this upgrade is not compatable with my Windows XP program. Please help. Thank you. Its ok sorted now found the answer in another thread below - just ticked the use software rendering in the internet advanced settings.

But the thing i dont understand is that it does this for basically EVERY page i visit. even facebook. and when i click "continue" it alows me to go to the page but limits what i can do and only shows certain things. i'm very frusterated with it. This issue was resolved! I didnt think about restoring my computer to factory settings but I did and now my computer works like brand new. basically, just back up your files and do the following:

Having trouble with relocating files on w/ iTunes.
i am having some problems with my iTunes. i had recently transferred my music from a Mac to a PC, i'm pretty sure i did it the correct way...i just copied my my iTunes Music folder contents and placed them in my iTunes Music folder on my PC. I have a little under 1,000 songs and now for some reason like at least 100 of them wont sync..and i still don't know why it wont sync. But now i did something which i don't think helped..i was clueless so i changed the destination folder to an identical folder w/ the same music, but then changed it back to the iTunes Music folder and now iTunes can't locate any of my songs, but i easily can but i don't want to have to relocate them one by one because i have a little under 1,000 songs...so i's like to know if there was anyway i can locate numerous files at once on iTunes rather tehn just going and relocating each one individually?
You'll have to convert the actual synth audio file file that the producer gave you to 48kHz. You can do this in the audio Bin in Logic.

Have you reset the SMC?
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord.
Wait fifteen seconds.
Attach the computer's power cord.
Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.
While you're at it, resetting the PRAM won't hurt anything and 'might' help is SMC reset didn't work (PRAM does some port control):
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
Something else you might try .... you don't say how you're updating to 10.6.8, however, if you're using Software Update, you might try downloading the 10.6.8 combo update, which contains all updates to 10.6. Sometimes, Software Update doesn't work quite right, and installing the combo update fixes that. Download the update from Apple's download site at http://support.apple.com/downloads/ , using Disk Utility repair permissions, apply the combo update, then repair permissions again. -
